My Mom passed away that year. Then my Dad 19 months later. From 94-97 I was a blur. Nothing. I don't remember anything much at all. I went to 3 Packers games at County Stadium and ALL were vs. Detroit. Thank you for this. I honestly don't remember this game at all. My Mom as I said passed probably close to this time. Beginning of December. She LOVED the Packers and the Brewers. I LOVED watch games with her. I miss her more now. Life SUCKS.
Gritty, tough Dave Kreig...One of the GREATEST stories ever in the NFL!! My guy - the ol' Seahawk - led the Lions back STRONG, out of nowhere, & was throwing into the end zone for the tie at the end! A gutty performance in a gut-it-out year - wow, Lions DID finish strong with Dave at the helm & got into the playoffs - was throwing into the end zone at the end in the wild card game to beat the Pack, as well; almost did!
@@Steve_Hunts96 "Wrecked"??=>I think NOT...That's what I was alluding to up above, at the end, that Kreig ALMOST pulled it out @ Lambeau in the '94 wildcard game; in fact, I believe there was controversy on the TD pass Herman Moore caught at/near the end of the game, that he probably wasn't out of bounds. Guys give all they have~that's hardly a "wreck", but for sure a "heartbreak".
@@mudbone3276 Yeah "M.B.", Dave earned it 1,000%! The Lions situation/team for '95 would've been far better for him than finding himself a starter in Buddy Ryan's 4~12 Arizona "trainwreck", which is what ended up happening to him.
I just want to say THANK YOU for posting this game on RUclips. I have been wanting to see this game for many years because I actually own the game worn jersey that Dave Krieg is wearing in this game and I have been waiting a long time to be able to video match the jersey. I have already photo matched the jersey, but being able to video match it is even better. Are you selling copies of this game? Thank you again.
Thom Brennaman before he prided himself as a man of faith as there's a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that’ll be a home run so that'll make it a 4-0 ballgame. I don't know if I'm gonna be putting on this headset again.
The game in question where Lomas Brown said he purposely missed a block on Sean Jones to allow Scott Mitchell to get knocked out of the game because he was fed up with Mitchell's inconsistency, Lions were 4-4 at the time, Dave Krieg comes in and became the starter the rest of the season leading the Lions to a 5-2 finish to make the playoffs
I was 12 when this game was on TV and I remember how excited I was that Scot Mitchell got injured so Dave Kreig could play. Krieg had an amazing year for the Lions its too bad Barry Sanders shit the bed in the playoffs that year.
The man had defenders on him a nanosecond after being handed the ball! They completely abandoned the draw play or screenplay. Disgusting play calling and even worse o line
No evidence to support Lomas Brown's claim that he purposely whiffed on Sean Jones to allow Jones to get to Mitchell and get him hurt because of being pissed at Mitchell's poor play
50:26 is the play that Lomas Brown (Left Tackle) alleges he let Sean Jones slip by to injure Scott Mitchell. To me, it looks like he took the inside man, who he was responsible for, but I'm just a guy, not Lomas Brown.

Only to get wrecked at Lambeau... again
Lions should of kept Kreig and cut Mitchell in 95.

mitchell absolutely sucked at football
I swear half the games I watch from the 90s feature Cory Harris making great plays on special teams. It seems like the guy was everywhere!

I wish all these Lions fans booing Matthew Stafford could go back and see the Lions never had a good quarterback until Stafford was drafted.
@The Duke 🤦 put him with KC , Pitt , Seattle or NO.
Stafford is very good...stuck in Detroit.
You're ignorance hopefully isn't contagious.
Excellent
I remember this game really well. I went to this game. This was the first Packer game that I have ever been to.

good grief you think that joke has run it's course?? And No Brennaman will NOT be putting on his headset again for any National network.

Back when NFL players walked through dugouts to get into locker rooms!!! Those were the days.

Barry touched the ball 15 times. Not nearly enough. But going down 31-7 by halftime is the reason we couldn't just run the ball.
The man had defenders on him a nanosecond after being handed the ball! They completely abandoned the draw play or screenplay. Disgusting play calling and even worse o line
Refs fucked the lions on the Aubrey Mathews catch.
Green Bay Packers last season playing in Milwaukee .

The last Lions visit to Milwaukee County Stadium
