The wording during press conference about anyone else involved was interesting. Investigation ongoing, no comment and did not clear Jen.
I live in FL and from my understanding of the states law, the parents have a choice if it’s concerning a minor…whether they want an autopsy report/details of cause of death kept private. I’m sure Jen doesn’t want it made public, but her father also has rights and if she ends up being charged in some way…I don’t know how that would affect this. They keep making a point of saying that this is still under investigation and I think it’s because LE like many of us, believe Jen is involved. It will be interesting to see what happens here and I just pray Madeline gets full justice!!! My “mother” intuition tells me she is involved and she will be getting charged. They have the one pos locked up and he’s not going anywhere, so I think they’re making sure they have more then evidence to charge her before they do and she somehow walks on a “technicality”. In Florida, you don’t have the choice to not show up to your trial…so he won’t be pulling what Adam Montgomery did. I’m surprised honestly they didn’t make him appear to get the new charges, but I’m guessing his lawyer probably said some bs and since it was essentially just a date to get “another date”…his attorney could be there in his place to speak on his behalf. He’ll definitely have to go to trial and won’t get to pull the crap Montgomery was able to!!

The laws need to be amended. When the evidence is overwhelming, as in this case, PigV should just go before a judge to declare him guilty and immediately they should just escort him to the basement to a room with a drain in the middle of the floor, never to be seen again. JMO

This 13 yr old girl looks older than my daughter and my baby is 4yrs older than her, so i cant believe that jenn didn't see the signs, i believe she knew something was off and turned a blind eye to it and overtime, built a resentment towards her daughter instead of Stern and with that its going to be hard to prove unless she opened up about it to someone else....as far as her taking part of it I'm not too sure about that but on the morning maddie passed away she knew and figured they might get away with it, but when stern got arrested the whole thing blew up so he stopped speaking and I believe she lawyer up and is only giving minimal info that they have to try to find the truth in it... that's what I'm thinking anyways....but I won't feel good until she is also charge for child neglect in some form at least for all the yrs Maddie was hurt by that creep

LE often doesn’t reveal to the public about a minor’s autopsy and the family requested it not be released, which is their right, although I, too, would like to know.
It is possible that Stephan Michael Sterns was crying for himself, not for the death of Madeleine.

Pascal I watched A Friend of the Family what a bizarre story and I just can’t believe how he got them to the point they didn’t do anything and the mom what a dumb lady. But I felt so so bad for Jan at the end when she finally realized she had been duped. I just can’t believe she didn’t realize sooner. Thanks for the heads up. Now I’m going to try to watch Baby Reindeer.
When "back the blue" or the "thin blue line" meets reality
It should be mandatory that they appear in court. If Jenn was innocent she would be making a comment about Stephen's charges. Her silence now shows her guilt.

Something to remember, background checks are only going to show “things” or “red flags” that have been filed, reported, or charged. If they have no criminal report it won’t show on a background check.
Also, not all SRO’s are created equal. My daughter has one at her MS and she has a k-9 and does nothing at that school. Sits in the office. The last SRO we had knew every child’s name and was out there where you could see him. Also, there are federal grants in the US that towns/cities get for SRO’s.

I had no worries that he would be charged, he was on ice with the other charges, so they just took the time needed to get all the ME reports and lab reports, timelines, statements etc in order. I think the mother will also have some type of charges at some point unless she works a deal to tell ALL she knows. In my experience of many years in child welfare, this doesn’t go on to this extent, that she wasn’t aware, probably even caught him at some point… They are also working to identify other children and other adults involved in his SA charges. The PCA listed children’s under the age of 5 being in some videos/pics, that’s probably not Madeline. I hope he’s talking tho…other adults need to be arrested, other kids saved and healing for them begin. This is just the tip of this can of worms… pig vomit will never be a free man again, I pray many others as well! Thanks Pascal! ❤Jil

I believe the reason it took so long for charges is because they had to come up with enough evidence to get the highest charge possible

I do not believe Jen is innocent. Not one bit. After his ex came out and spoke about their sex life on how creepy and rough he was, there’s no way Jen didn’t experience the same thing. It makes me think she’s just as nasty. Allegedly. They found that babies clothes in his room. You think that’s the first time? She never found her clothes in there before and never questioned it? In 7 years she never looked through his phone? I think mom is just as sick. In my opinion. And that’s why she was so quick to lie for him in the beginning. That’s why she was shaking in those interviews. Because she KNEW it was over for them. Sick sick sick.
Even if she didn't know about the abuse (which I personally don't believe one bit), she's at the very least guilty of a level of child neglect and endangerment that's staggeringly gross and terrifying. (But I agree with you that she's likely just as sick as Pig Vomit.)
