It’s the coolest looking tie fighter type vehicle…..it’s the Lamborghini of tie fighters that’s why it’s a little smaller that the other tie fighter vehicles.
Actually that alternative mode for the jedi starfighter was later canonized in a comic where Saesee Tiin makes a modified version of that ship wich is supposed to be more battle ready. But all of this was passed on to legends by Diney. lol
It has to...you would think anyways. Maybe something along the lines of a watch battery or something. I was going to pull it off and pop it open because curiosity got the better of me but with the amount of force I was using to try and take it off I decided to stop in case I broke something. I'm not sure if it is meant to come off once attached to the main body.
You'll never have to worry about battery leakage or the batteries ever running out. The lights are powered by the Force Link, not the ship. It uses electromagnetic induction to send electricity wirelessly to the ship. No internal batteries.
where is the battery compartment on the ship? I got one at a garage sale and cant find where the batteries go. Something has to be powering this thing...
I believe it’s powered by the force link gauntlet…like wirelessly charging a phone. I haven’t torn my ship apart to confirm it though. There isn’t a battery compartment to access.
Great review as always!! That figure's head looks awful and wow those sounds!! The Force Link Kylo has superb movie clip sounds that are completely authentic. The size of the ship though should really be much larger.
Definitely should be bigger. It doesn't seem to me that the main body is proportionate to the wing size. But that's just a feeling...obviously I haven't seen it in the movie yet for comparison.

i wish it did the sounds and lights without the force link.

Not that it matters now, but the least they could've done for this "TIE pilot Kylo" was paint that black band-aid on his face to make it more unique.
Bought it in smyths toys in the UK on offer for £20 summer 2019
Very cool!
Got it, bought this at Wal-Mart for $25.
Nice!
how do you reckon the lights work with the force link? some kind of switch? where is the power coming from?
Now that i think about it, the rear of the ship likely contains a battery pack of some kind
