No, deer are considered sacred in this game. I don’t know the full lore but the white deer is supposed to be special. One of the side missions is to feed the deer by attracting them with music. After every feeding, Jin reflects on the past with his father. In this reflection, he finally accepts the fact that it was too late to save his dad from being killed.
@@notreallyizin i think you're misunderstanding what he meant by "i'm sorry it was too late". What Jin means here is "i'm sorry it was too late for us to bond". Throughout the memories we see that Kazumasa was starting to warm up to Jin, seeing him grow into an actual warrior. But it came way too late, so they never managed to be a father and son, and that's what Jin says he's sorry for, sorry in a sense of grieving.
I think the white deer is somehow a reference of his father or family. Bc the white deer always appear near the memories missions. Sakai's armor and the horse's armor from Jin's father have antlers, so I think it's connect somehow. @@notreallyizin
On the PS5, you just tilt your controller up and down to control the green dot through the lines. In the PS4, you have to hold R2 and move the dot through the stream (I had to do research on this one).
Such a beautiful melody.
One of my favorites from any movie or game
I tried to restart it by failing so much because of how much i like this
It’s a beautiful part of the game so I would do the same haha
The fact that the theme song is Jin's unfinished song for his dad makes it slap even harder.
Wonder if anyone has whistle tabs for this...always dreamed to play it.
@@MrChicken1138 a Google search found it. I hope you play it :)
@@notreallyizin Could I ask you for a link with tabs? Because I, unfortunately, can't read the notes yet.
is the deer his father?

@@imperialguardsman5726 thank you for the correction. It has been a long time since I played the game so I tried my best to remember it 😅

Too late for what?
SPOILER
This is a major part of the game’s story. Basically, Jin is saying he was too late to save his father from being killed.
@@notreallyizin ah. Very nice.
