the mod is not yet finished, but I got to test it out for a bit and it was pretty awesome but yeah anyways, if you like this mod make sure to support GamerSubZero for making this possible.

I hope this mod gets polished well, like the camera angles and the down theme and The opponent's voice not being silent anymore.
for some reason if both characters speak it somehow brakes or crashes the Game, but I'm not yet sure if there is a fix for that

So no dodging, no health refill, no stunning.
But also crazy strong attacks, tons of stamina, and more attack options.
I feel like the characters which punch the fastest would win.
Soda Popinski would be top tier since he his fast, strong, and has a health refill option.
since they can't dodge, ball bull's bull rush might be OP if Landed, since Von Kaiser's TD attack move when he get's back up can one shot you but since you can't actually dodge atm, which means the attack will most likely land it's pretty OP but I also think Characters like Great tiger, Glass joe, and Piston Hondo will be pretty fun characters to play as maybe even ryan
@@spookishlyweirdgamer9373 Great Tiger would also be powerful since he teleports when he is punched while idle. He would pretty much be an intercept-only fight.

The devs should literally just make challenges out of using other characters, like winning against Mr. Sandman as Glass Joe
I wonder when the stun mechanic will be added
All we need is
The ability to block most attacks/dodge them
Flinching from damage
Stunning opponents and being stunned (perhaps taking too many hits allows the opponent to stun you and vise versa)
Overall this is the greatest thing i have ever seen
I will be a Von Kaiser main if other characters become playable

Who needs to dodge when you can just flat out smite your opponent into dust
Looks like playing as the enemy boxers have no damage file animations for the player I would figure the dodging would be there with the left to right but surprisingly not.
I think they do have hurt animations it's just that I had to use a "hit anywhere" Code that allows me to damage them since playing as Mr.Sandman alone without that code makes him unable to land a hit on his foe and that rule applies to his foe they can't hurt him either, and the reason I brought this up was bc if I were to use it as little mac they don't really flinch sometimes bc they would block my attack but they don't flinch from blocking or dogging yet the hit anyone code makes me still damage them regardless, so I'm thinking it's due to the same reason that they aren't able to hit each other so basically they hurt each other but can't flinch bc of it, I hope I explained everything correctly.
Imagine a mode like this in the next Punch Out where you play the other boxers

Super Punch-Out!! for the SNES already has this feature as a cheat code. There is a secret mode where the 2nd controller can control the opponents.

I’m hoping for a mod that lets you play as Glass Joe so that someone can make a video on if it’s possible to beat Punch Out Wii as Glass Joe.
that could be an interesting idea, I might try it soon and if possible I might try to do a "is it possible to" type of video as Glass Joe but I wasn't really 100% interested in glass joe due to his moves they weren't really that fast and I felt like he would have issues fighting against characters such as Macho man or soda pop maybe even Bald bull

I think some can, it's a bit complicated but basically if a Boxer like mr.Sandman get's knocked down a couple of times they would automatically Dodge like for an example, playing as mr.SandMan and getting knocked down 2 Times, on the 2nd down he will automatically begin doing the "afraid?" move or the dream land express I think it's known as even without player input, so for now it's safe to say that you can't really dodge for now and also bc I had to use a "hit anywhere for both players" code for this mod to work right but only issue with this is that they don't flinch and if I were to not use that code attacking would do nothing and no one could hurt each other so in other words the attacks would land 97% of the time without missing so even if you dodge they could still damage you.

I wonder can you dodge with mr sandman
it's kinda weird but if he get's knocked down twice the AI will take control for a few seconds and he will suddenly dodge followed by some uppercuts, I think it's called the dream land express when he does that move, but yeah it's kinda strange

A fix I'd love is for the characters to react to your punches and your player able to dodge. Even though i think there aren't any animations for those

I mean in order to get the mod to work properly I had to use a "hit anywhere for both players" Cheat code that allows me and my Foe to damage each other no mater what as long as the attack is thrown the opponent will take damage even when dodging or blocking which for some reason causes them to not Flinch and another issue is only one boxer can talk, let's say that I want Mr.Sandman and Soda pop to speak while fighting or doing attacks having them both be able to speak somehow crashes the game so only one character can speak atm which is weird

I think it's possible but would be pretty wacky, the main 2 characters that get my interest are mostly soda pop and great tiger mainly due to tiger's clones and Soda pop drinking soda to regen his health etc, but ye I think Aran Ryan should work

the mod is currently still a WIP and is being worked on but GamerSubZero provided me with the mod so I just kinda play tested it but since he made the mod I don't really feel right just uploading.... unless he wants me to ofc but other than that ye I left some details about it in the desc of da vid
Seems like the opponent has trouble detecting incoming moves and therefore doesn't attempt to dodge or block
how has progress been on the mod? i haven't heard anything in like 4 months.
The friend who sent me the Mod to test hasn't responded to me in awhile and they seem pretty busy... they promised to help me make a Glass Joe playable mod but they haven't done so yet so I'm not sure what's happening... they may be pretty busy... but for now I manage to Fix The Character Portrait for Sandman so that it would look nicer and fitting

since the mod is still a WIP, star punches can't be done but I'll see if we can update the mod so star punches can be done but it seems like a neat idea tho

sadly no, it's a wii game which means you need an emulator to run it if you wish to use it on PC

I'm not 100% sure as I'm not that advanced at modding, but I'm sure there are tools out there they do help out in modding, I used wiiScrubber to install the mod since I had to replace some files with the mod files

@@gahler8552 it's indeed possible to replace in game audio with ur own however, from what I've seen it's kinda tough in this game, same thing with model replacement I dumped Von Kaiser's model into blender by using SwitchTool box I think it's called and I had to extract the models from the game and then I dumped it into SwitchTool box and then Extracted it from there to Blender but I ran into an issue trying to figure out how to replace the Game's Von kaiser with my own so yeah it's pretty complicated....
