- I got this Dell laptop for repairing then I plan to make a video of this repairing because in most cases this problem is easily solved with basic knowledge. I clearly mentioned all the possible steps and ways to solved these issues. so if you don't like the 2nd step because it contained disassemble you may not like it. Therefore you can skip this step and directly try to recover BIOS. But a new BIOS is more dangerous than updating a simple Windows program, and if something goes wrong during the process, you could end up bricking your computer. So do it at your own risk. Thanks a lot. Bios recovery process worked on a 15 3576 with 3 ambar and 6 white light flashing. There was no need to change the internal battery in my case. Tip for everyone, you can do the bios recovery with the notebook battery plugged on so that you don´t get into danger if suddenly you get no electricity.

Worked with Dell Latitude 7480. I had 3/3 blinking LED pattern. Screen would not turn on. I followed Dell's instructions for BIOS update and what they didnt mention was CHANGING THE BIOS FILE NAME AND EXTENSION. That was what did the trick for me. And using the right USB port. Thanks so much!! 🙏

My Dell latitude 7390 won’t even enter bios recovery mode 😢 it just keeps blinking 2 amber and 5 white led I’ve changed ram plenty of times still same results what should i do? It’s getting frustrating

I have black screen issue (not even the Dell logo appears on boot & the screen is completely black but Fan , all leds & keyboard backlight is working). After done all basic troubleshooting steps, i am sure that it's Bios get corrupted. I want to re-flash the BIOS but can't access the BIOS due to blank screen issue.

for old Dell models like mine, "press & hold END key and then connect charger without battery" method works for re-flash the Dell BIOS but i haven't flash the bios file yet. I want to confirm will renaming the BIOS file to BIOS_IMAGE.rcv work in old Dell laptops?
Or we have to extract the .rom & .hdr files from bios using some cmd commands and then flash them ?

I have Dell 5575 R7 2700U with Screen problem. I changed VRAM size using UniversalAMDformBrowser and i changed VRAM. So i ended up tapping the wrong place where i changed Primary Graphics Display from Internal to External. Isaved the settings and when i tried to reboot the system, thats when the screen stopped responding. Furn, CAPS button are working except the Screen only. CAPS button keeps turned on meaning something went wrong

I want to tell that "ESC + Ctrl and connect charger without battery", this method does not work in my XPS 15 L502x. I think this method works only in new Dell laptops which release after December 2015.

Hi I have a Dell vostro 3468. I can't boot to bios recovery with the escape + control + power cable combination. My laptop won't turn on at all but fan is running and power light blinks (2 orange and 5 white)

I have a dead 7548 with a black screen resulting from a bios update interruption.
I tried flashing the bios from a bootable USB but can't even get to the boot menu, just the black screen.
Ctrl + C doesn't work. In fact, the Caps Lock key doesn't even light up when I plug in the power cord.
