What is your FAVOURITE location from the video? Tell me a bit about why :D (This issue has since been fixed!) The Captions MAY be delayed, my apologies for the inconvenience. They should be up and running soon!
All of them but if I had to choose one great plateau. Also probably can't but could you try doing one on Echoes of Wisdom? Also do these kind of videos on the more classic Zelda 2D games?
Crazy that there can still be almost hour-long videos on things I didn't know about this game over 7 years after it came out. Always a pleasure to watch 👏
I somewhat agree with the Waterworks statement. I think thematically the dungeon is beautiful. In terms of gameplay, it may have been too similar to OOTs Water Temple, with the water level mechanics and all. But the idea is that there are 5 dungeons in TOTK, and we had 4 different types of landscapes to cover, but we only covered 3. The Wind Temple was an AMAZING sky themed dungeon, we didn't need another one. But you know what we did need? A CAVE DUNGEON. The fact that the caves were one of the key new features in TOTK and we didn't get a Cave Dungeon is sad. You might be able to argue the Lightning Temple fills this role, and it would do so okay. But then we're missing a regular surface dungeon! An underground dungeon with lots of outside segments going into mostly natural caves would've been so cool! The Water Temple is the most disappointing Dungeon in TOTK. Thematically it's lacking in originality, gameplay it's just boring. It's quite sad to see, especially when compared to other TOTK dungeons.
My favorite Gerudo is one of the shopkeepers. When you sell stuff to her one of her responses is basically “oh my husband would love this!” Which implies she doesn’t live in the town but comes in to sell her wares
It should be noted that, going by her height and age, Mipha is probably about as old by Zora standards as Riju is by Gerudo standards. Also, and make of this what you will, her now adult brother is probably the one who has put in a statue of Link riding him in the center of Zora's Domain and moved her statue more or less as far away from it as possible without putting it on a Sky Island.
There is an NPC who tells you that Mipha’s statue was moved to where it can look over the whole Zora’s Domain. It also is in a place that has some interesting symbolism if you consider a scene from Age of Calamity to be canon. The scene where Young Sidon was attacked by monsters only to be rescued by Mipha and Link to be exact
10:36 - 11:17 I felt this part big time! Wow boy, your speeches should be nominated for Oscars. "Best Male vocal motivation performance for a Short Form video" Nice job Matt!!😍😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
You really do have a nice voice and even tone which is great for chores, relaxing and, yes, even falling asleep. Always fun content that I find something new in every video!
Okie I may be biased but my favorite location was probably Tarrey Town because of the character Mattison. I remember when TOTK came out I had a handful of friends tell me there’s a surprise I may end up liking at Tarrey town and I had no idea what they could have meant by it. I never see my name spelled properly. Anyways great work on this video Hyrule Gamer! I love these videos
I did a mad pitch black run through the depths to reach the deku tree. The gloom hands in pitch blackness was the most terrifying thing I've ever done in a zelda game.
@HyruleGamer I've never seen that said. I have seen where they all just look alike a while back from an interview. However, it is fantasy does raise a question though, why do they have belly buttons if there is no women. Do the make get pregnant and carry them?
I almost ran into Riju when I first arrived at Gerudo town but I went straight to town because I thought Riju's lightning strikes was from a storm and I didnt want to get shocked.
I have a theory about the King's Grave and why King Rhoam's spirit is hanging around on the Great Plateau.... SPOILERS FOR "AGE OF CALAMITY" - - - - - - - During the finale of the "Calamity Strikes" stage, we see King Rhoam get blasted by a Guardian, and we're led to believe that he died. However, we later learn that he was able to deflect the blast using a Guardian Shield that Zelda had given to him earlier in the game. Rhoam later leaves the castle to fight up on the Great Plateau, and we will eventually join in the battle and save him and his army. My theory is that AOC is semi-canon and that King Rhoam actually died HERE on the Great Plateau. The spirits of the Champions are bound to the Divine Beasts, which is where they all perished, so it would make sense that Rhoam's spirit would be stuck here. It also explains why his grave is here.
I'm going to create poems like hints to help you find the crystals in the video. If I miss any tell me the timestamp (this comment will update as I go on with all of them). hint 1: Queenly sight, Columns might. The crystal's light, In hidden tides. hint 2: Metal work, Smith rock. Soaring hawk, 2 o'clock. hint 3: Glowing tower, flying laser. crystal's power, in ruined nature. hint 4: Piano notes, robot shoots. below an arch, in guardian's sight.
Hey Hyrule Gamer! You think you could do a mini theory or just a theory video why koroks stayed the way they have been since wind waker. The in game lore is they are small and light and can drift over the Great Sea, and since they exist in BOTW in hyrule in such a horrendous state why didnt they take on a more maybe defensive state? Or a support role.
The Hebra region became my favorite location because of breath of the wild and when i finally played through echoes of wisdom i was expecting the rito tribe in hebra region of that game but no it was just a single lonely yeti who was waiting for his brother. That made me wonder if they had some kind of connection to the yetis from twilight princess because Conde's father was buried behind his house and Conde's brother was on some sort of adventure and i believe Conde's father is Yeto from twilight princess..... I mean sure there may not be any proof of that but i just feel like thats the case.
Weird called the gibdos redead (they are only redeads in Majora's mask and Twilight princess) also the rito are only magically evolved in windwaker and more likely from another rito race that migrated to Hyrule or evolved from loftwings But good video overall
Rito village and its quest line imo were the BEST in tears... im really mad at myself for handling it soooo badly... dont use the hoverbike.. ruins things.. i thought it was amazing even despite that... i can only imagine how itd have been if i did it all proper... hell i didnt even fight the boss right. instead of diving through the weak points i shot em with arrows liek a cheater..
I have to admit, I don't believe this Zora developed into Rito/Orni thing. Even if Nintendo made it up. The world gets flooded with water and the Zora are fish people!! Fish and water. Why evolve into bird people? Dosen't make any sense to me. That they both exist in BOTW/TOTK side by side is prove enough for me, that this is not true. I'm a bit sad, that there were no Orni in EOW. Thanks for the video :D
Ok listen, if scorpions, crabs, and spiders are considered cousins because are all considered arachnids, then the Rito and the Zora are cousins that branched off from a starting species. That's my theory I'm sticking to it.
8:04 Also can we just talk about how weak the champions are except Urbosa? Literally I defeated the fire wind and waterblights easily and only had trouble with Thunderblight Ganon.
@@davidfitzpatrick6535 I can only really defend Rivali in the situation. The fight between him and Windblight were at night, him being unable to really see his opponent. He's also a bird so his vision was even worse which sucks as a bow user
Yeah, if you talk to those Gorons in BotW they will express their confusion about being let in. Gorons technically have only one gender and the Gerudo seem to have a trade agreement with them as the Gerudo craft things with the gems the Gorons dig up
does taking my medication count as a snack and drink? 🤔 there seems to be a small editing hiccup when youre talking about the naming requirement of the tarrey town quest
OH i was about to let you know the captions werent working then I realized I'm super early to a video thats never happened before so hopefully they get fixed soon for the others 🥰
@HyruleGamer i was referring to why zora and rito exist at the same time. In evolution when something evolves the precursor does not cease to exist. That's why we have Zora and Rito
I'm surprised, Ganon hasn't traveled to the Lost woods and try to destroy the Great Deku Tree in BOTW or TOTK. (Mostly because The Great Deku Tree is in possession of the Master Sword. And I know the phantom Ganon is inside the Deku tree in TOTK, but imo it doesn't count.)
What is your FAVOURITE location from the video? Tell me a bit about why :D
(This issue has since been fixed!)
The Captions MAY be delayed, my apologies for the inconvenience. They should be up and running soon!
You better keep these kind of videos up
Also you can get in to Gerudo Town shelter from the fountain in the throne room above
My favorite location from this era is the tip of the western foot of Death mountain located just west of the crater that contains the Lost woods.
All of them but if I had to choose one great plateau.
Also probably can't but could you try doing one on Echoes of Wisdom? Also do these kind of videos on the more classic Zelda 2D games?

Nintendo makes such beautiful worlds with a lot of detail put in every single town and region. And then puts them on oldest hardware known
And then sue anyone who makes something even remotely similar to what they made.
