The fact that the only animated episode of a PSA seatbelt campaign spawned an insanely successful toy line, is the miracle in my opinion. Not to mention they weren't that expensive ethir my mom paid $15 for the yellow taxi set back in the day, its going for around $250 now.

Sadly the Airbags on em that are supposed to pop off the Steering wheel cover don't work as strongly anymore. So if you take off the cover they do deploy somewhat, but obviously not as well.
@@sobeysbag it was hit or miss mine shot off like a rocket. The fact that the airbags even made it on to the drawing board is a merical, now kids are lucky just to have a caracal painted on for the steering wheel.

these things were built incredibly well. To design a toy a child is meant to abuse and it not break was a miracle of engineering.
