The Incredible Crash Dummies 2020
The Incredible Crash Dummies is a line of action figures designed by David McDonald and Jim Byrne, styled after the eponymous crash test dummy popularized in a public service advertising campaign of the late 1980s, to educate people on the safety of wearing seat belts.[1] The toys were first released by Tyco Toys in the early 1990s and discontinued in 1994. From 2004 on, a new series of animated shorts involving the crash dummies was produced and the action figures subsequently revived under the Hot Wheels brand, another subdivision of Mattel.

Missed the toy used to have one when i was 9
Sadly the Airbags on em that are supposed to pop off the Steering wheel cover don't work as strongly anymore. So if you take off the cover they do deploy somewhat, but obviously not as well.
I don’t think they really ever worked right
@@sobeysbag it was hit or miss mine shot off like a rocket. The fact that the airbags even made it on to the drawing board is a merical, now kids are lucky just to have a caracal painted on for the steering wheel.

these things were built incredibly well. To design a toy a child is meant to abuse and it not break was a miracle of engineering.
The fact that the only animated episode of a PSA seatbelt campaign spawned an insanely successful toy line, is the miracle in my opinion. Not to mention they weren't that expensive ethir my mom paid $15 for the yellow taxi set back in the day, its going for around $250 now.
@@8zero90 yeah but $15 then is like $50 now. They also had a cartoon series. Good observation that no psa ever had a toy line or its own show.
