St. Elmo's fire. Tower. Keweenaw. Daytime version.

This is a predictable event / phenomenon, with this tower.
Audio is a Henry Kloss AM radio radio . (AM static)
30 seconds in you can hear the static 'crack' along the tower guy line
insulators. Each section of guy wire is 25 feet long and the ceramic insulators are between.
The temperature was suppose to drop 25 degrees Fahrenheit with this storm.

Wher is the St. Elmo's fire???????????? There's nothing but clouds. Can you explain? I have seen the phenomenon and it is a glowing "buzz" along power lines and the roof of houses. I don't see anything here.

If you look carefully you can see the purple glow emanating from the top portion of the tower, obviously, if was dark out it would become much more noticable. Cool!

That's a AM radio in the back ground audio. (radio not tuned to a specific frequency)

Ron, ignore the trolls who wish to leave negative comments. While I will admit it was very difficult to see, I believe I saw a faint purple haze on the upper 1/4 of the tower. Perhaps try a nighttime version. Thanks for putting up the video - happy shooting. Giving it a like.
