    Will the Qualification Tester work with all the Categories including Cat 8...?

      It will be able to determine if the cable is connected correctly and if it can handle speeds up to 1 Gbps, but can’t tell if the full Cat 8 are supported. For that, you need a certification tool. Thanks for the comment!

    99% of cables are done in 586B

      A lot, but not even close to 99%. Virtually every commercial building and all military buildings use 568A.

      @@nilpo19 I think what Mike was referring is prefabricated cables. 568A is used in US government buildings, I don't know if commercial buildings use 568A. 568A wiring is used today for backwards compatibility to old wiring standards for telecommunications. Most home wiring is done using 568B unless AT&T did the install because they stuck with the 568A standard.
