Welcome to the video, today I cover the mods that I have on my G37S Coupe. The VQ37VHR pack along with, intakes, downpipes, exhaust, billet flex plate, tune. Below I've listed most of the parts I use. Mostly everything here will work with the G35, G37, 350z, 370z and early Q60 models. If you are looking for mods for your Nissan or Infiniti, Z1 does have high quality parts.

Intake and exhaust was the first thing I did on my g37. It really wakes the car up

I have a 2011 G37S with Injen dual long tube tuned intakes, Ark valvetronic catback exhaust and Uprev 5 stage Osiris Cypher engine map plus dyno tune and I'm getting 381hp to the wheels on the dyno. I even added a Megan Racing strut bar and RS-R lowering springs that run at 8.63 kgf spring rate which tightens it up just right. All done at Intec Racing. I've had it since new and it still only has 42k miles. It's red with the tech, sport and performance packages. I looove this car.
381whp ain't even close to what you can get with e85 fbo maybe cammed around 350+ but 381whp has to have a lot more done than what you stated.

I have a 2010 G37x. I have drop in filters, 3” intake tubes, custom catback, berk res test pipes, and the car is on 20x10 rear 20x8.5 front and I love it as is. 217k miles with original engine and trans. Shifts and runs smooth

Highly doubt bolt ons are going to bring it 70 hp more to the crank, probably more like 30 hp since he hasnt done injectors or cams. Another thing is, auto trans eats up more power than the manuals

What are your 0-60 times now or quarter mile and top speed. Thats what I've been itching to know
I've got an 09 g37s coupe but since its my daily i've been super hesitant to do any mods to it. People in forums hate on the 7at w/ paddle shifters but i love it. Worried that the trans will be the downfall of it if I do any power mods to the car. But dope looking set up man!!
The 7at can handle up to 450hp without issues

@@alfredos8729 nah the clutch packs will start to slip over 500Nm and the selectors. its the same on the 5 speed only the 5at will last a big longer. longer ratios=less stress. cant save the clutches though ahha. however, on an N/a set up, unless youre a moron yes it is bulletproof
Bruh I've been looking into buying a G37X for winter. I deliver pizza 40-45 h/w for 3 yrs in a mildly modified 350z. Mod list is pretty much all bolt-on you can think of and much more. I recommend staying away from turbo or nos but honestly mod away just don't go crazy and you should be okay

It's 400 to the crank is what they advertise it's only around 340-350 to the wheel

If you want the best exhaust though, look up Amuse R1 Titan Titanium $4,200. Lightens the car from stock about 40lbs. If you wanna play, you gotta pay😁

Have you actually had it on a dyno that reads real ouput at 340hp?, most kits like this only deliver 30hp more than stock if you are lucky, a lot of money for little gain.
340 would be 60whp more than stock. Still not much for 8K, but all these bolt ons are the options options before putting on forced induction.
Yeah I highly doubt a manifold, intake and exhaust adds 60+horsepower.

I thought the same thing, he also shows the paddle shifters. I was watching this video for my own ideas on my auto g37 and one thing I would want to do is improve the response of my paddle shifters. I thought I remembered him saying something about the shifting only to become more confused.
The clutch kit is in the original box sitting in the trunk.

The Z1 package is $1,600 and you'll pull ~343WHP on a dyno with it. The G37 gets about 280WHP so it's not that bad for what you pay for some bolt-ons.

I used to have an 09’ sport then it got smashed by some fool so I got an 11’ sport coupe and the wheels but especially the front bumper/fascia look so much better than the 09’ style. You should definitely look into seeing if you can do a front bumper switch

Don't have a G37, hopefully he responds but I read the forums often. From the overwhelming majority of owners on forums and RUclips, G37s are extremely reliable. The VQs are great and the car's essentially a Nissan! But dont just take it from me, ask on forums and keep digging :)
G’s/Q’s are awesome cars! Great for daily or have some mods shared from the Z’s for more power if you’re looking for that 👍
Honestly I just got a g37 as a daily Nd I spend 250 weekly on gas that’s also bcuz I step on it but who wouldn’t step on it it’s a g37😂
Love me G37s! Get it, it’s a fun gd looking car and I haven’t had no problems with mine other then light usual maintenance for a car hitting 100k miles. Meaning (front shocks, light tune up, oil change, breaks) that’s about it. So I’d say it’s pretty reliable and dependable for a daily.

Man, do you have a tune and felt a difference from the pedal commander on top of that? Any 0-60 increase? I have a Q50 3.7 with bolt ons and tune making 338 whp and definitely interested in that pedal commander but haven't been able to find any feedback from someone with a tune
It doesn't increase horse power just makes it hella responsive! Opens up the throttle bodys up more.

For 8k do you regret not getting a stillen supercharger?
If I had 8k sitting around when I first got it yeah maybe, but being my first car, it was fun just to put everything else on while enjoying the car over the years. I could still toss on a supercharger if I wanted to since everything is in place (and more), but probably won’t be worthwhile now
How much louder does it get? Wanna get the z1 package but that’s my worry I work at 3am so I don’t wanna be that guy on my neighborhood lol

Nice mod lists. Do you have your headers coated or wrapped? How's the heat in the bay and floor board? I am wanting to keep heat down when I install my z1 headers. Looking to have it ceramic coated this weekend, but not sure if that's be enough.
I don’t have any coat on them. I have a metal undershroud in the bay but heat isn’t bad unless I’m racing, and inside isn’t too noticeable. Any type of protection you’re looking at will definitely help for when you’re pushing it consistently 👌
@Thor Odin son I would recommend the fog light delete and make it into 2 air intakes, has helped my g37 so much and I’m on my stock rad

Unfortunately Z1 states with this kit their headers aren’t compatible with AWD models, but I’m sure there are some similar parts that could fit yours

Bryant Bryant I think the drivetrain loss on a 6mt is 18-20%. So for a 6mt 350 wheel would be roughly 430-440 at the crank. Not sure what it is for an auto but I would think similar.

I had an 09’ then it got totaled by some moron on the freeway who admitted he was on his phone so I got a 2011 and they changed around the wheels and front fascia and some other bits and it looks so much better

Hey bro did air filter makes any difference,
I did get these installed the same time as the intake pipes but I would say they’re good. Made to increase airflow I haven’t had any over heating issues so it’s got my approval 👌
RPace ok cool , I have Stillen gen 3 . should I upgrade my filters to those or my Stillen gen 3 filters just as good
If they’re in decent shape I’d say it’s fine to keep them, but if they need replacing the high flows are a great addition

It’s crank car prolly makes around 340 wheel tops which is a good improvement from stock they make about 280-295whp stock but he def should have mentioned it was crank hp

3.7 naturally aspirated super reliable im on my second one after crashing my first . First one was tuned regular maintenance but I had a coolant problem sort my last one my new one is a 6spd no coolant problems

With the z1 vq37 do you have to get the car tuned or anything or you can just buy it and put it on and it doesn’t make any lights pop on?
If it’s small upgrades like just an exhaust or intakes probably not, but if you’re swapping out a lot of parts it’s best to get a tune so everything is working out at maximum efficiency and doesn’t show Christmas lights on your dash
Yes you have to get it tuned/mapped after the z1 intake kit. Z1 suggest this and they have custom maps. Your lower intake manifold and upper plenum are ported and polished and this changes the air/fuel for the cpu.
Where did you get the shift paddles. Is it a lot? Did you install them yourself. Very confusing busying them online

Stock 0 to 60 is 5.3 with the 5 speed.
@@jakewilliams5796 That is a stock Infiniti G37 coupe with 330 hp and this one has around 400 hp so it is probably run from 0-60 in the low to mid 4 seconds car.
