Jack Rieger Yes!!! That’s my wife’s primary complaint but I guess we will end up with an entirely new car because so far it seems we can not easily and seamlessly add any damn tech functionality anywhere.
@Jack, it wont work through the usb port. I installed a FM transmitter /3.5mm plug in the car. I just received an fm transmitter/ bluetooth module and it is waiting on deck to be installed. One of my complaints as well as the g37 was sold to me as a "luxury" car....yet a corolla has that feature and we do not! WTH!

Dude! You're a genius! Definitely need to do a how to on how to put a tablet on there. Ive seen some g37 with a Tesla screen for g37/g35 but that's a bit pricey. That tablet is just enough 👌🏼
I have the Tesla screen ($650-$700) in mine currently. I have a 13 g37 coupe. The tablet he has is a bit faster than mine, more apps, and consistent internet access. I'm curious about his connectivity 🤔

@@edwinbanegas6086 I like it a lot. The interface is really cool, the Bose sound is great (u can customize your sound profile to your liking). I don't regret spending the money at all. It's a little slower than his unit but other than that, no complaints. Biggest task was navigation as I had to download offline Google Maps. But I'm sure if I get a mobile hotpot for in-car use, I can use Google Maps with real-time traffic 👍🏼

@@byronvontreal7046 Yea Byron I did and it was working pretty ok but idk I think I want something stronger. Unless mobile hotpot is 1 size fits all, so to speak.

I have installed the automatic starter and with the cold that we have in canada its a bonus to come in the car while everything is warm including the seat lol
That remote start is clutch! Down here it's because it gets so hot and with a dark interior, the inside of the car feels like it's on fire!!! Hit me up @ puff2ice on myg37.

I agree with the other peeps, g37 owners need this setup. I have a 2011 g37s Anniversary Edition Pandora sucks on the stock Navigation head unit bluetooth connection throttles the volume way down. Like so many before me, and i'm sure you are tired of being asked, I want/need this setup please. I have searched high and low, spent hours at installers, shops, on forums and no luck. I'm not a fan of the tesla look, like someone else said previously, I want that stock like. Would appreciate the help.

The tablet is really nice but you lose the ability to see what temperature the aircon is and what about the backup camera? All the maintenance features?

Cool video was debating the Nexus install as well but think I'll just settle for the tesla style screen. So far haven't heard too much negative reviews about it yet and it's under $600 shipped.

cool silver volume knobs where did you find them
Good eye! I total had forgotten about those but they add a nice touch! I fond those on ebay for $4.74 the set of 4, two years ago. Search for "4pcs 21mm X 17mm High Silver Amplifier Test Volume Tone Rotary Control Knob" Let me know if you have any issues finding them.

If the car is not turned on for 24 hours, only 2-3 % is used. The car itself does not use any additional battery. Since 2012, I have gone through 2 batteries, or about a battery every 4 to 5 years which I feel is average.
I have a 2010 just need to add coilovers the only issue I have, the front end shakes when braking

Ebay, they are verde v99 graphite. The color looks very similar to the oem paint.

Thanks! The indash tablet is awesome and it takes people not familiar with the car a minute to wrap their heads around it. I just got all the parts in for the rear brake light so it'll take some time to shoot the install and post it.

I had a 2013 g37 it had usb instead of the colored circles but I sold it and bought a modded out 2008 g37 and now I miss the USB port because I used to charge my phone and listen to music at the same time is there a way I can upgrade my 2008 g37 like my 2013 one?

The way I did it, about $400 in parts and the labor I did it myself across two weekends.
Keep in mind this is a very technical install, not a good one if you don't know your way around cars and stereos. I'll post video's on how to do it and you can judge for yourself before starting.

Hey, love the upgrades. I have a 2011 G37 Black Convertible. I don't have all the upgrades you have (don't have the funds like that). Consider changing the "puddle lights" on your doors with the Infiniti name and symbol. Got them on Amazon. I looks kinda cool at night when you open the door. Also, consider changing your light bulbs inside to LEDS.

I can still see everything the stock screen showed. This is not just a android slapped on the car, no, this allows me to see the AC temp, the radio station #, stock back up cam, etc, plus do all the things a rooted tablet can, i can switch between view(OEM vs tablet) when ever i want with a touch of an app. I am thinking of relocating the stock screen to the sun glass holder and just having it on all the time. What do you think about that?

How has the battery performance been since installing everything?
The car battery performance is no different; car starts up in the morning no problem and the longevity of the battery is the same.
Does your have a backup camera and does it still work after the tablet installation?
Yes, I can use my back up camera and OEM car info, check out my other videos where I showcase how it works and how I installed it myself.

So how does the a/c and heat work from what I was told the radio is connected to the climate control. Does it pop up on the tablet when you put the air on like stock does

What are the LED bulbs you used for the fogs?
I am currently using SiriusLED H8 Size DRL Fog Light LED 30W 6000k Super Bright White Projection Bulb Pack of 2. I had bought some other generic ones on ebay but those did not last more than 6 months. These i have had for two years and no problems and they look closer to HID's than the yellow OEM bulbs.

Are you lowered on springs or coilovers?
While I wanted a more aggressive look, I wasn't trying to join stance nation. I was looking to try and maintain ride comfort as much as possible so I went with Swift 4N908 Sport Lowering Springs, dropped 1.2 inches in the front and 0.8 inch in the back.

I embedded a mobile hotspot in the sunglass holder that stays on 24-7. I hot wired it to the rear view mirror as my mirror is powered with auto dimming and compass. I post about that mod soon.
