She just admitted on IG live that she was never clinically diagnosed. Her assessment is merely a self-diagnosis.
Today?
@@rebekahkingbello9560 Yes, I'm curious as to the timeliness as well.
After her interview with shannon @@rebekahkingbello9560
Yeah she did.
Pissed me off. Really cause she is sneaky and conniving.
I believe there are multiple things going on with Amanda,
1) Self absorbed
2) Savior Complex
3) lack social skill/ street smarts
4)Victimhood mindset
Btw just heard her admit to self diagnosing her autism because she was not going to pay all that money to get tested 🤦🏿♀️
She also lied about the diagnosis costing “10 thousand”. Even if it cost that much, she could afford it.
The point is, she said she was “diagnosed” in such a way that it was insulting she had been… well, diagnosed!
@@culturalresponse2447 maybe she cant afford it... her money has been messed up by that publicist...
@@culturalresponse2447 Nah. Its pretty expensive. If you cannot get your insurance to cover it and you don't have mental health benefits. I'm on a 24 month long waiting list in one state and 18 months in another to get my daughter tested. Her evaluation when she was 4 was $5000 and didn't even include neurodivergence.
How you know what she can or can't afford!!!!!@@culturalresponse2447
To go on a platform as big as this one and say that she was diagnosed with autism when she hasn’t received a clinical diagnosis feels irresponsible to me.
I'm sick of celebrities saying they have autism to get attention because I'm a person that really does have autism and it's a daily struggle.
Are you assuming she's lying? Or that she does struggle? Her lifestory says otherwise
You are right!
You are right about people describing their difficult behaviors as that of autism!
We can say you're lying too.
@@LadybeetleMaddoxit look like she said exactly what she meant reread oppose to trying to assume what she meant 🧐🙄
She admitted that she wasn’t diagnosed to be autistic in a live today
So she lied about receiving an autism diagnosis?
WTH!?
@sadladyday a doctor didn't diagnose her, but I'm not surprised.
An autism diagnosis only comes from a doctor or medical/psychilogical professional! Autism has become a colloquial term to describe difficult social behaviors that aren't related to autism - and I really dont like it!. I am a parent of a child on the profound end of the autism spectrum. I am in clinics many days out of the week with my autistic child and other individuals who display many ends of the spectrum. Amanda does not display stereotypical/stimming/over whelming sensory behaviors. Not only does she make appropriate eye contact, she understands communication AND Social Cues - so much so that she can she can constantly craft narratives with her being the victim/activist whether its on The View, Insecure, Floetry...
Not only did I not care for Amanda Seales already - I especially am bothered by her using autism to make excuses for her behavior - particularly if it's not even a true medical diagnosis that she has received!
@@sadladyday yeah…because she misdiagnosed herself. She presents as a person with ADHD impulsive and hyperactive which includes hyper focus. So, she drives people nuts. Most ADHD people drive people nuts between hyperactivity and inattentiveness. They also suffer from a type of rejection disorder. ADHD is very misunderstood.
Being neurodivergent or autistic don’t mean you automatically are unempathetic or cold. Amanda may be missing cues but she’s also an entertainer so she needs to look within and take a beat.
Amanda is literate in social cues. She is absorbed with this notion of herself as an intelligent and important Black entertainer/activist and from that framework that is how she responds to all social situations. That is why she couldn't understand why Issa Rae didn't like her!
@@sadladydaymaaan everytime she thinks someone doesn't understand or agree with her she starts talking about her degrees 😵💫. And I say this as a multi degreed individual. It's weird and beyond condescending
Amanda never said she was cold or uncaring. She does at time struggle with social cues, which is definitely part of the diagnosis.
@@sweedy3333 She probably uses it as a protective measure. She's aware that her personality is unlikeable. She may be thinking that at least she's educated. Also, it sounds like she's been questioned regarding her intelligence since her youth. So, she may be hyper-focused on proving that she is intelligent.
Thank u! She is an actress. She is trained to understand cues. And shes a singer too.
I kinda get why she would be deadpan at Jeannie Mai announcing her marriage to Jeezy, especially if she knew about "darkmeat on the side" i would have made the same face🤷🏿♀️
Right! I don’t have to be excited for people that I don’t care for 🤣
Yeah she don’t like Jeanie and she responded to Lonnie the way most folks did. Lonnie was dragging it a little bit. Unfortunately Amanda couldn’t hide her face.
Everybody made at the dark meat comment BUT Jeezy & black men. Why should we care about that comment as black women?
Yeah but that Jeannie’s life at the end of the day and it was her coworker….most of us have enough sense to go home and talk about our coworkers in private not create an awkward work environment and just write it off as well it’s my feelings get over it. Even though it was a show about current events atleast they knew better to atleast try to respect each others feelings….usually the person who can’t get along with others at work usually are considered to be creating a hostile work environment and will eventually be weeded out.
Correction: She has self diagnosed herself! Listen to her interview this morning. She said she was not about to pay for 10k. She hasn’t been medically diagnosed. Let’s stop making excuses. You are who you are, and it’s ok
Amanda like Monique, never take accountability for their poor behaviours. We all have opinions and entitlements but cannot expect everyone to give us slack for this. Issa isn’t Amanda’s mum, why should she protect her. Amanda needs to just grow up!
Idk I think Amanda Seales looked at Jennie with that face cause she could see her future nothing to celebrate about, and she looked at Loni like that cause she couldn’t say ,”so what’s your excuse now “
😂😂😂😂😂😂 that last part
@@triahviah Both parts tbh lol. Based on just an outside observation, she was likely thinking about more important things she could be talking about. But I can see if being on the spectrum plays a part as well, coming from someone on the lighter end of the spectrum myself.
😂
I rarely comment on social media, but I thought it was important to speak on this subject. I was diagnosed with autism at 40. I have struggled with social interactions my entire life. People often see me as rude or blunt. There are many unwritten social rules that everyone else seems to know that I simply miss because I am kind of blind to them. I am also very literal, so I am often misunderstood. I don't think people realize how much they speak in euphemisms that don't make sense to someone who takes words literally. My hope is that society can be more understanding. We don't expect people with mobility issues to force themselves to walk just to be socially acceptable, but we expect the equivalent of those on the spectrum. 💯
Same. A lot of people are being diagnosed later in life. Sometimes parents seek out a diagnosis after their kids are diagnosed.
I think Amanda’s AuDhD (Autistic & ADhD) - not a doctor, but watching her interview made jittery and irritated. Amanda can be insensitive and unaware of social cues and nuances, but also extremely hyped up, talking over people, very sensitive to wanting others’ approval, dominating conversations and vomiting a wealth of information without interacting and reciprocating. She has to get her thoughts “out” or else they’ll overwhelm her and irritate her- or she lashes out on social media.
She’s highly intelligent and very well educated on Black topics, but she overshares and has a lot of emotional dysfunction and/or lack of emotional regulation. I’m not a doctor, but speaking from experience, she needs support- like cognitive behavioral therapy and regular therapy to help her regulate her emotions and give her skills on how to cope with not being so overwhelmed and fatalistic about everything and everyone around her. It’s not fair to have the extraneous burden of trying to function “normally” in society, but it’s what it is. Amanda has to take control of and be responsible for that.
🫶🏽💯
Im 47 and I havent been diagnosed but I have been considering getting testing for awhile now. I have the same issues you are talking about .
We in the same boat except I do have mobility issues. I swear some folks talk about it as if I’m just not trying hard enough or praying hard enough to get better 😂 I hope this conversation grows. There aren’t enough convos about how common disability really is.
@@AndromedonThanksand how much systems, the country and people dont fully understand disability. And how easy anyone can be disabled.
“AMANDA PLEASE‼️”
She’s not autistic, she’s an emotionless person….. we call them sociopaths
Something is definitely off with Amanda. But online in the comments someone mentioned she’s an only child and trust me that would explain a lot.
BOOOOOOOM!
Oh wow
She’s definitely not diagnosed as autistic. She’s had zero emotion for several people in life, even those who have had several experiences that are similar to her experiences, she simply doesn’t care. She’s self diagnosing, and self soothing with her diagnosis. She could very easily be a sociopath, but that is also a clinical diagnosis. Amanda needs to stop pretending a diagnosis takes tens of thousands of dollars, it doesn’t. With insurance it takes multiple visits to a psychologist, but they are all covered. She needs to be clinically diagnosed before she can make any claims. And if she doesn’t want to be, then she can stop making the claims. Because it’s misleading.
@@mysisterisafoodienever seen a sociopath with such deep emotionad
Notice how these celebs have a mental health diagnosis as soon as they are deemed unlikable
Amanda is just exhausting . She is making excuses, as she always does. She has an issue everywhere she goes. This includes even when she was in the group Floetry back in the day. She is a talented woman but she self sabotages herself.
She just does not know how to talk to people. She used to justify it by saying she spicy and Caribbean. Now that it’s coming back to bite her, she’s on to something else. There is a victim mentality and a lack of accountability going on with her.
She was in Floetry?

Dark skinned women get blamed for light skinned women acting out their privileges when they notice dark skin women are not noticing them enough to aww over them. I've never met a dark skin women mistreat a light skin woman just because she was stuck on herself. When they find someone like Issa Rae that is comfortable in her skin, they come up with all kinds of accusations. Ridiculous!
I have. And I'm not light skinned. I'm brown. I've noticed Intra-racial colorism in both directions although more often where darker skinned tones individuals are targeted.
SHE ACTING Like The Angry Light skin Woman Wanting A Excuse To BE Mean Do She Ever ......For REAL Have Happy DAYS?!
@@cheriparisedwards3468 thank you so much for saying this. It has happened to me my entire life. Yet when I say something, I get gaslit like that.
Based on what Amanda said about their interactions Issa does feel some kind of way towards Amanda because she is light. She said I thought you were like your character and Issa wrote that character.
Why would you assume that a light skinned woman is begging to be noticed or awed over, and that she thinks she’s all that? This is exactly why colorism can and does go both ways, in our community. I’ve only been teased and mistreated by dark skinned kids for my skin color, calling me names like Casper and Ghost, and saying things like I think “I’m all that.” Some of these occurring as early as first grade. That is learned behavior that continues on as adults, on both sides of the fence, and your comment is an example of that. We have to do better!
Amanda’s delivery is overwhelming and she doesn’t know how to read the room. You can speak your truth and be respectful. I wonder if she feels because she’s educated she’s exempt from taking others feelings and views into consideration. Her facial expressions towards Shannon gave me the impression that she felt that he was beneath her. 🤦🏾♀️
You can BE who or however you CHOOSE to be... but people get to CHOOOSE how they react to you... people can choose to NOT want you around them. Amanda needs to understand this.
She is highly educated but she is fighting against her lack of emotional intelligence and how that shows up in her interactions with other people. Her having ASD makes so much more sense now.
Poor emotional intelligence does not equal Autism!
As a moms to a similar kinda kid this warmed mu heart
She self diagnosed her ASD. She released a video today saying as much.

Emotional intelligence is so important no matter how talented you are.
She probably didn't react to Jeezy and Jeannie because she is for black on black love. She probably didn't react to Lonnie and the food desert because she may have thought Lonnie would have been overweight and unhealthy either way. On Club Shay Shay she said she loves words not that she is good with them. Autistic people are very direct with words, not necessarily good with them.
Bingo* I heard everything you said.
😳 Amanda’s autism diagnosis is not a professional opinion. It’s a self-assessment, so she may not even be autistic… although we can all agree something is DEFINITELY wrong with her.
She clearly has either antisocial personality disorder or oppositional defiance disorder
I used to be abrasive like that and burn bridges. I agree, soft skills are something you gotta learn to be able to function in society. It doesn't matter that you're autistic, if people feel that you're disrespectful, condescending you're gonna be isolated and be the bad guy even if you feel like you're being honest or just. Society is not gonna change to accommodate you, you gotta make an effort to meet people in the middle. I met other autistic people who use the diagnosis as permission to be rude, they don't try to see how they can communicate with people without causing them distress and sadly they suffer the consequences.
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽❤️
Great point….and it’s not just autistic people. This is a lesson that lots of people have to learn.
She is not autistic!
💯💯
Absolutely! I remember I was acquaintances with a dude who has aspergers and I tried to be VERY patient & considerate despite my own mental illnesses…which he was aware of, but he would say the rudest things then say I have to give him a pass because he’s autistic. The last time, I told him about himself and said not to contact me. He tried to apologize later, but nah. I said the next time he contacts me, it’ll be my man he’ll be speaking with. He got the message. Meanwhile, my bestie is autistic and an amazing friend! She tries to learn to meet me halfway while I’m learning to understand her diagnosis. I have no issue being patient with her because she’s not disrespectful and doesn’t make excuses if she has a moment (I still don’t mind❤️). A diagnosis doesn’t mean people are expected to coddle you when you’re rude.
The thing about her tweet is she stated in the interview that tweets aren’t meant to be long and explanatory so it often is misconstrued from others. To me if I am a celebrity, I wouldn’t be on Twitter because it’s a PR nightmare.
I'm sorry, but Loni saying Black people "don't know how to eat" was so stupid. 🙄 I had the same reaction as Amanda. There's a difference between not knowing and not being able to afford what's better for you.
I know you know good and well that the black community has high rates of hypertension and diabetes. Our staple food is soul food which is high in fat, salt, and sugar. This goes beyond not being able to afford healthy food. The black community has been known for not making the best food choices all around. Loni spoke the truth, but this is a large issue that has multiple components. Though we really gotta adopt acting like we’re collectively poor and live in food deserts cuz canned and frozen veggies and on sale meat is not that expensive compared to the processed foods than many willfully choose to put into their shopping carts.

This is why a clinical diagnosis is important. So many symptoms overlap and how psychologists rule out other diagnoses! Differential diagnoses! Lack of social cues could also look like a lack of empathy, which we see in personality disorders. She's very intelligent, and I've seen her comedy show in person and online. Something tells me she doesn't have autism, but may have traits of something else. A thorough neuropsych evaluation would give her the answers she is seeking.
There is nothing that she can say to make me forget that she said that Jussie Smollet actions were lowkey noble.
I'm waiting for her to say lying about a diagnosis is noble because it brought light to the condition.
@@courtneyz4015 That part 👏🏾
I'm not real familiar with Amanda but she's getting old enough to know that if you're called to be salt and light, an activist or militant, if you will, and you want to get your point across, you have to learn to do it with kid gloves. Especially if you're a woman. People do not want to hear no harsh shxt, but especially not coming from a female.
You have to find a way to say what you need to say and be firm and definite, but classy and graceful at the same time. You have to be the iron fist in the velvet glove. This is reality for all women who want to have an impact. You can absolutely do it. But the rules are the same. You cannot come at people like a bull in a china shop, autistic or not, and expect them to listen or respect you. It ain't gonna happen. Autism won't change that. It has nothing to do with how Amanda looks, people are not appreciating her energy and she alone is in control of that.

The two baddest girls in my neighborhood were dark skinned. Most of us were cute but not the baddest😅
Amanda actually had a boyfriend less than a year ago and they already broke up. She seems draining. The need to be right has blocked her sensibility
Special one, Amanda does not have a problem getting a man. She just recently left a relationship.
What exactly do you know? Everything you said was false! Amanda is 42 years old and just recently ended a relationship.
How are you going to say this woman doesn't have friends??!
Do your research before typing ignorant comments! Just because you seen her on a few blogs you think you know everything there is to know about this woman?!? Find something safe to do..and stay out of Black women conversations! Lookin like an extra from the movie The breakfast club!!!😂
“Soft skills” is just BS. No one else has to develop “soft skills” in the work force. BW be you unapologetically. There is no reason to dumb yourself down to make ANYONE else feel better. Your enough.
Not true at all….this is definitely something everyone has to learn.
Soft skills are very important. As my mom used to say, "it's not necessarily what you say, but how you say it." If you can't communicate without being rude or condescending, then that's a you problem, and more than likely won't be tolerated in the workplace. And dumbing yourself down isn't really the issue. Also, if you can't or refuse to communicate with people where they are intellectually, then that's also a you problem. Jmo
That’s not what she means by “soft skills”.
That is terrible advice for any human. Always strive to be your best self and treat people with kindness. Being mindful of how others perceive you is universal, NOT just for black people.
@@kenyafromcali Well said
She’s a self diagnosed she has said that she didn’t pay for a clinical diagnosis…. Self diagnosis is accepted within Autism as it is very difficult to get a psychologist that will diagnose adults but she can afford to get …. Until she gets a clinical diagnosis im side eyeing her as the mother of an adult on the spectrum who was diagnosed as a child
Glad I'm not the only one that had to turn it off....I don't think I can finish it.
Definitely think colorism goes both ways….and I’m a darker-skinned black woman.
Interesting
It doesn't by definition...the definition assigned by social scientists. But the reverse IS prejudice and is wrong
I'd say color based mistreatment goes both ways, but colorism, the systemic mistreatment of a person based on color, only goes in one direction. As a light-skinned BW
It DOES, as a dark skinned person, I have seen it many times against my light skinned brothers and sisters.
@@LadybeetleMaddox I just looked it up and it has to do with discrimination based on skin tone...which indeed goes both ways.
I work at a early interventions program and yes people with ASD often struggle with recognizing and interpreting nonverbal cues, such as gestures, facial expression and tone of voice.
Not saying thats its an excuse, but it does explain some thing like the examples in the video. Lack of social skills/communication. So one can only hope that, know that she is aware, she does more research and work on improving those skills. To simply to just be better. Theres nothing wrong with bettering yourself!❤
No one is obligated to like her. Why dies she think Issa iwes her anything?
If the roles were reversed and a darkskin woman was constantly complaining about a lightskin woman, they would call her bitter and jealous.
Amanda Seales made herself into a victim, and I'm tired of hearing her complain.
When you are autistic. You know it. She doesn’t need a therapist to confirm this because they normally like giving African Americans bipolar, schizophrenia etc. The diagnosis of autism is hard to get. But trust me, being autistic is something we feel and know all our lives
She clarified that’s she wasn’t diagnosed with Autism but she knows she has it to be clear. I can relate to Amanda because sometimes I too struggle to see how my behavior can rub people wrong but the way she doesn’t ever take accountability AT ALL is stressful af ngl. I’m glad she’s beginning to see the light though because she does have a lot to offer.
“I was recently diagnosed with autism” -Amanda Seales
She has the means to validate her self diagnosis. So many AA are genuinely discriminated and struggled on the spectrum.
She's not diagnosed as autistic. She just decided that about herself.
Girl our chanel is growing
1:39-3:16
I 100% agree with you, Lailah.
I just could NOT 🙅🏾♀️ understand why she would behave that way on "The Real", because I know full well she DEFINITELY has emotional intelligence. 🥴
Chiiile, IDK 🤷🏾♀️ what it could be.
5:36-5:54
AWWWW, HERE WE GO!!! I did NOT 🙅🏾♀️ know she was Allegedly colorist. 🤦🏾♀️
The types with the mindset of that tweet always think it's everyone else, and in some instances, it may very well be. But, it's been my experience that those mindsets/types project their insecurities onto others and it's never their fault when they are met where they are in response. Overall, I wish Amanda Seales the best in life.
She was self Diagnosed too
Layla get your facts straight before you start saying stuff. she never said that she had been clinically diagnosed. She diagnosed herself, Lady.
I may be wrong but I actually do think colorism works both ways... I think the difference is most people are talking about systemic colorism.... because so many people are aware of what colorism is now some..(not all) but some people will automatically not like you if they are dark skin and you are light skin and not even know you or get to know you... in those cases then what do we call it?????? I just want know so i can put a name to it is it called something else?
The ism denotes that it's systemic which is why it only goes one way. Discrimination on the other hand goes every which way
Color based/ skintone discrimination
@@sweedy3333 Thank you for that! I really just wanted to know the name of it because I never heard anyone say what to call it.. Color toned based discrimination is what I will call it going forward.
I love Amanda, and people's dislike and judgment is so wrong to me. I mean yes everyone can their opinions.
Many can be too much in varying ways. Society at large and individuals choose who and what they’ll make concessions for. We see concessions made for based on gender, ethnicity, resources, celebrity. I pray Amanda gets to the point where she isn’t so burdened or grieved by her “black sheepness” and doesn’t have to keep elaborating in these experiences especially without anything to promote. Love you down Amanda ❤
Amanda very honest and doesn’t think before she speaks
I am jamaican. We have colourism heavily in my country and the Caribbean. So she just might be.
She never said she was clinically diagnosed with autism
To me her tweet is easy to understand. She’s saying her privilege in society gives ppl the right to disrespect her or ignore her when she’s being wronged. And colorism absolutely can go both ways, it just depends on which room you’re in. If u are surrounded by ppl that are different than you, there’s always room to be oppressed no matter what the differences are.
I could've swore she went on a podcast or interview and said she didn't believe colorism exists.
If you're an adult and crying about colorism, I just have no words. I went to school with a girl that was light skin beautiful and smart and friendly. The beautiful dark skin chick was actually the stuck up one😅
Nobody is better than anyone.
I know adults who have been deeply affected by colorism. It can cause a huge amount of pain.
@@taunyb5429 okay. Give me an example. Love to hear it. Did someone not go to college or get married or committed $uic.ide.
Adults deal with colorism too. It doesn’t just go away because you are an adult. If you just don’t care just say that.
@@Sweettooth25 i don't buy my question still is do you person know someone who goes to therapy for this or can't work, pay their bills etc because of this trauma. Bigger point is people say mean stuff growing up. Most of us get taunted by class mates etc and we still struggle as adults but is it any more important than certain traumas? Real question btw
Colorism is beyond personal experiences. Dark skin people receive harsher punishment for prison sentences than their light skin counterparts and employers higher dark skin people at a lower rate than their light skin counterparts. This is beyond stereotypes you heard in school.
She said she was not clinically diagnosed bc she’s not going to pay thousands of dollars for the test. So how she knows she has Autism…IDK
Just because you self diagnose does not mean your diagnosis is invalid. In fact, if you think about it, you kinda have to "self diagnose" to even seek a mental health test. She would have to suspect autism to think to even test for it as an adult. I know that is what happened to me at 40 for ADD. I had to suspect it first.
Here is a medical example: I was diagnosed as a diabetic at 25. No endocrinologist could classify my type. I couldn't take take type 2 meds because I didn't respond. Others sent me into lows, but I made my own insulin. I had a very troubled pregancy and my daughter was in NICU for 3 weeks. When my daughter was 3, she was diagnosed and had all the same issues. I did research, as did my doctors, and we were pretty sure I had MODY-2 Diabetes (this is NOT type 2). It can only be confirmed and "clinically diagnosed" with a genetics test. It took FOUR YEARS to get the genetics test approved by my insurance. In the meantime, we moved like we had MODY-2. In my second pregnancy, I stopped insulin in my second trimester. My baby came out healthy and much much stronger. When she was 2, the diagnosis on child 1 came back, just as she was confirmed as a diabetic too. We all have been diagnosed with MODY-2, now that ONE of us was diagnosed. For the record, we live a healthy lifestyle. I was 18% body fat, doing taekwondo 3 days a week, the gym 5, and team sports 2 when I was diagnosed. My children are athletically built (one track and modeling, the other cheer).
Like my type of diabetes, it was unknown when I was born. Unknown when I first started showing symptoms. Very little known to this day and still being discovered. Much like ASD.
🤭☺️LOVE YOUR OPENING SONG 🎵 ❤JUST ❤YOU!!! 🤗
Gurll Amanda can talk. ❤
Amanda Seals wants to be the pick me girl so bad!! Theirs certain people that aren’t built for the industry and she’s one of them!
We really gotta get past the hair 😪
Not understanding that she diagnosed herself but I think she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety disorder. I will say that Amanda does speak against injustice and is highly educated which I can appreciate. She does come across as socially awkward and she isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I will say that I too have felt awkward as I spoke differently when I moved from Richmond Queens to Harlem. I was not accepted and even now, I may not fit in. Amanda can def learn, understand and address her privilege as she has touched on it but she hasn’t really addressed it. That part.
People are reporting that the autism diagnosis is a self diagnosis by Amanda. I’m no Amanda fan but if this is true and she’s making this up it’s a new low even for her.
It’s true. She confirmed it herself. She doubled down and claimed/lied the diagnosis costs 10
Thousand Dollars and that’s why she didn’t get diagnosed.
So when she said “she was recently diagnosed” she was purposely lying
@@culturalresponse2447 she made that situation deeper by lying she should have just been honest from the beginning
She is on the GOOD side. The side Kat Williams talks about.
6:07 only darken toned women feel she’s a “colorist”
I’d love to know your opinion on the matter now that she admitted she actually wasn’t diagnosed. Imo she was intentionally misleading and I think she’s still believes in reverse colorism
I understood what she was saying, she just said it in the wrong context. I don't want to assume what I think she meant, but yeah there is definitely a stereotype that light skinned women get grouped in. That's just been my experience and observation.
Someone please explain to me why her tweet is colorist please
Colorism does go both ways and it does work both ways, she’s saying she realizes that the black community only acknowledges colorism when it’s a darker skin person, but light skin people experience colorism as well! There are people who literally don’t like you because you are light and they automatically assume you think you’re a better, when that’s not always the case.
This is incorrect!
@@MisFit...ButGod no it’s actually accurate! And who asked you mam? Just because the word is meant for mistreatment of darker skin people doesn’t mean it doesn’t apply to other shades of skin. The action of colorism in its self applies to both shades.
@@jamiel4049 no its not
@@MisFit...ButGod girl bye! It’s correct! And again I didn’t ask you for your sub par opinion.
The black community constantly takes the side of light skinned women. And they act like dark skinned women never have pain
knowing that you have autism and knowing you need certain skills for her job, means you need t make sure you have stafff or a caregiver to help you navigate through social cues as a tv personality. this excuse is killing my only one good nerve that I have left. if she's going to lean on autism as an excuse then she should find different ways to earn and income tv, and interacting with people constantly isn't the right job for her.
I don’t know about Amanda she graduated what I remember hearing an interview at Harvard, she was a child star on Nickelodeon, and all the interviews she has done. Never discussed being diagnosed with Autism, so I’m not sure. I hope she telling the truth, but she has been having a lot of issues with the black community lately. I really don’t think Issa cares what she thinks.
