You trend high on "electric rat rod" searches. Your accelerator is a bit odd, but it works. You have defiantly built one of the coolest electric cars on the eve of the massive shift to electric. It looks fun and reliable.
OK i see you using the clutch peddle and I'M a bit confused as to how that even works..if you direct couple the motor does the clutch peddle disengage the motor? to let it "free float" so you can shift??? or does the controller have a "pause" mode?? I would be fascinated to know how your doing this because I am about to convert an MG midget..
Dude that thing can easily go 80mph considering I do work for a family here in Western Massachusetts with the largest Ford Model T and A collection anywhere on the East Coast and they have a VERY rare 1913 Speedster Roadster with custom motor that was made for racing and it easily hits 100mph without an actual windshield.
Hell yeah! I'm excited for "dumb" electric vehicles with manual transmissions and all the bumps and creaks and cheap thrills of old cars. The motor cycle harvest is great.
😂 I just watched a sherp video with this dude on his channel, and around the same time I added that one to the list, I also added this one, having no idea this was his build 😂🤷♂️
He mostly whines about Tesla fanboys though doesn't he? Also the fact that Tesla doesn't give its consumers resources to diagnose and repair their cars is extremely counterproductive considering the fact that Tesla is "Environmentally friendly", "Oh, your car broke? Just buy a new one!".
You have inspired me so much! Thanks! I have just purchased a 09 Cadillac STS4 with a small 3.6 v6 175k. I’m full on ready to convert to big instant power and toque. Please help.
This just something like you see out of a hot wheels or a big electric rc car that you can actually drive round in town good job its away we can preserve automobile history in a historical zero emission vehicles if anyone knows that ford did infact make electric cars in in the past but also im seeing a new project and id like to buy one of these
Suggestion. Perhaps he could amplify (artificially manufacturer) a whole bunch of crazy loud automotive noise while he is driving. It could be synced with the amount of torque. That way it could have that old school sound (...rumble roar 🎶🎵🎶 rumble roar...). 🤔😉🙃
Rich Rebuilds is a king!
Loved watching this series when he was putting it together, dudes got some serious knowhow and gumption
I love that he just kept the bike handle for throttle and then put cables down to it!
I admire this young man's imagination and his technical skills to build this electric rat rod. Kudos to him on this project.
he\s puting a ls in a telsa as his current project
Check his channel: Rich Rebuilds.
He is currently building a v8 tesla
The ls Tesla is done mechanically now he's building a Cummins Tesla as his next Tesla build
This is what the definition of cool is!
You have to give this guy a lot of credit for building a rat rod electric car

There is not going to be a " massive shift " to electric. We will vote the loony tunes liberals out in November
Hot rodding is using your mind and hands. Super great job 👍👍
Thats the main thing I love about them, not about money is just using your mind and creating something different
Now, I want to build a electric 31 nash rat rod car ! Wow that project is great. keep up the good work.
Very clever and interesting adaptation of new and old technology. Just subscribed a moment ago to your RUclips channel. Good job sir. 👏⭐👍
Awesome yo! Excruciatingly fantastic engineering!
Great work, we need more like this.
So how's the range and does he still drive it?
I love this man
I may have a thing against batteries and electric motors, but what he has done here is amazing.
If electric cars were more like this, I'd buy one in a heartbeat!
Rich Rebuilds!
About to do an MG and this was great and informative.. Did you still use a clutch?
YOU, SIR..... ARE... a BADASSS!
Rich rebuilds legend
I converted an unused bicycle (seattle, hills) into and ebike and my wife’s Rad Bike couldn’t keep up so I built her one too. Now I’m here. LOL

Serious question here.. Why not use some Edison bulbs that spark or flicker while the cars engine is on..

the grill is crooked and it annoys me
Yay rick rebuilds
How can I build one of these?
Was that a new build. ? Isn't he currently working on his Tesla LSV8.
yes
Rich showing off his skills lol I wouldn't drive in that death trap.
What's the range of the car
WOW!!!! A vid of Rich where he doesn’t wine bout TESLA
He mostly whines about Tesla fanboys though doesn't he?

@@RamenPoweredShitFactory no , not really
You rock.

Rod without proper noise. Yeah, nah.
Uncle Rich!
Woah wherever that is they must be be pretty slack about roadworthys?
Some states are like that in the US

E-rod i want!!
Would I want to do 80 in that? DUDE I'm going to do a hundred and twenty in that thing
its just so very unsatisfying to look at vintage hot rod with just a square battery up front. making no noise at all.
Suggestion. Perhaps he could amplify (artificially manufacturer) a whole bunch of crazy loud automotive noise while he is driving. It could be synced with the amount of torque. That way it could have that old school sound (...rumble roar 🎶🎵🎶 rumble roar...). 🤔😉🙃
Lol uncle Rich!
Damn so cool I like hot rods
Get a picture of a engine and wrap the battery case as a ha ha 🤔
Put the battery in the back! Weight distribution!!
Sweet... 😃💞😍😘
No burnout ??? Lol
Love to build you're very smart guy
This looks SO sketchy, is this legal to drive in the US? 😳
Certain state's have very minimal laws
AHAHAHAH RICH HOW YIU DOING BUDDY
🇺🇸 ❤ BEAUTYFUL BABY , SOWWW 😎👍COOL DON'T STOP CREATING & REMEMBER 🌸B🌸L🌸🌸M🌸🌈🌸🐈🎯🕶👍
"I'm I scared of driving it? Yes, you never know what's going to happen."
Uhm. If your car does that you shouldn't be driving it at all.....
Nope.
That's some sketchy build.
I gotta ask:
Why?
And as a retort/rebuttal.
Why not?
