Now that's a nice loaf. The Coffee Cup stands are awesome use of the environment. Thanks for the video, I really like you're blue barrel seat/container.
Your skills are outstanding! What a bread! Mrs. Woodswalker must be very glad about having a gourmet - husband with all that talent in cooking and baking! Kiss the cook ;-)
Haha thanks Chris, but I feel pretty lucky too 👍. Actually wearing my bowdrill shirt right now and have gotten a few puzzled looks from people trying to figure out what it's all about! Lol
Excellent Video Brother enjoyed them all looks like it was an awesome trip ATB to you my friend and family I’ll see ya on the next one ☕️😉👍🏼🐸🍄🐾🏜🐝🦋🦆🦉🦝☀️🦅🦡🦗🐺🐞🔥🐿🏕🌲
Nice cook mister Wade 😂. So was that the first try at making it that way. It sure turned out good. I like to go on long fishing trips and the bread we bring is normally gone after the first week. It’s so good to make something like that at camp after you’ve been there awhile. A simple one to make is the Quaker Oatmeal muffin mix, the low fat is just add water. I make half the pack in a 8 inch pan using a reflector oven. So good 🔥👍
I added whole grains and salt to the whole wheat flour. No sugar was added. The grains are actually a breakfast cereal called Red River Cereal. Very healthy! Thanks for watching👍
As always, a great instructional video, I will be attempting to replicate tomorrow in the forest where I teach a bunch of fine young folks bushcraft skills the same, bread making is definitely a gap in my skill set. May I ask about the 'shelves' on the conifer you use! Are those horse shoe fungi Fomes fomentarius? why are they upside down (have they been removed from a silver birch and affixed somehow to the conifer) for use? - I'm somewhat perplexed as they are upside down, so from my perspective this can't be natural! - please enlighten me - cheers and keep you good work coming - thanks
It is some sort of bushcraft sorcery!😀haha. Actually there were a couple nails already in the tree I just pushed the fungus over the nail. Very handy👍 Let me know how your bread making goes my friend!
Thank you. Usually I do that and it leaves beautiful Mark's on the loaf after baking. This time it just slightly deflated it haha. Oh well, still delish. Take care!
Probably just me but Whenever I watch a video and no one greets the viewer and just goes about doing (his/her) thing frankly it makes me feel like being invited to someone house and then being ignored... makes me want to leave grime the get go.. just sayin

A beautiful spot, and fantastic looking meal. Baking is the woods is a big job, but it is so rewarding. Excellent video as always.
Thank you my friend. Yes rewarding is the right word for sure. Thanks for watching!
Oh my gosh! That bread was so good looking! I think you stunned the bluejay into silence. Or intent waiting for you to turn your back on the loaf!
Thanks so much, I appreciate your comment my friend😀

Heck Wade I can’t make bread that good in a bread machine. Those slits in the top would be excellent to “drizzle” some butter in.👍😉
Mmmmmm butter! Thanks buddy!✌
That looks delicious, thanka for sharing, Wade!

Looks good. Question, why did you slice the top of the loaf? Was it going to over rise? Thanks

Top effort but did anyone else think they'd just drink the beer?
