This song reminds me of getting ready for church every Sunday morning when we lived in Philadelphia. I thank God for Louise Williams whose radio program on what I think then was WHAT/am or WDAS/am would play the songs 9which have been ingrained in my mind since my childhood), what real gospel music was, and still is, to this very day. Thanks for posting this recording!
I caught the tail end of this song this morning Sept. 8, 2012 at about 7:30am on Brother Linwood Heath's radio show. It threw me way back to the early 1970's at Bible Way Church in Prince Frederick, MD. We had a petite little lady named Mable Lee Wallace. She only stood about 5 feet tall, but she had the most powerful voice you'd ever hear!! she used to wreck the house with this song!!! Thanks for another excellent post 529068.
thank you! I've been all over youtube looking for this. and to find out they are from Philadelphia, that's a plus. we just produce the most amazing singers. By God's grace, of course.

Great song! Thanks for posting. Does anyone on this feed happen to have A the Cross (Alas and Did My Savior Bleed)? Was told that it was the Sincere Choral Ensemble of Philadelphia. May have been the Victory Choral Ensemble
