- Welcome to the first unofficial, inaugural episode of 1320video Cribs! Where we show you the coolest car enthusiast homes from across the US! Jk - we will probably make this a one off sort of thing, but it was fun nonetheless! We found ourselves up North at Brainerd International Raceway, located in Brainerd, MN. Here, they have built two MASSIVE homes/garages that can serve as someones ACTUAL residence. Included, is 24/7 access to the racetrack/facilities, lake access, and tickets to EVERY event of the year! Contact them if your interested in building your own! They have room for another 20!

Don't wanna be that guy but there is definitely some truth to that. Sure those cars and the house are great but what's the point in having them if you don't have people around you to enjoy them with.
DriveNation, you can be poor and have no one around you either. It's easier to stay happy when you are busy, how could you not be busy with a house and cars like that? I understand the sentiment, but as some comedian said, have you ever seen anyone frown on a jetski?
@@antbanks7548 Of course, being poor and lonely is even worse and it's fairly common in our western society of today. I get what you mean but imagine having all those cars, that track and having no one to go out racing with you. At the end of the day to each their own I guess and I hope everyone is happy with what they end up doing with their lives. :D

True story. I was offered a better pay job and move to a way luxury community housing. Guess what? I have to come to my old neighborhood very often to hang with my friend. It's so evil some ppl just dont understand the importance of true friend and family.

Very few things in this world make me wish I had piles of money, but this one hit hard. An awesome concept executed particularly well. Screw beach house, give me a track house any day.

I have my own pump. It is surprisingly cheap and you can pay it off in 3 years. My set up cost $3,000 Canadian for a tank and a 120v pump. In spring Gas is usually at its cheapest and when summer comes they always jack it up by 15-20 cents. So i fill my 2,000L tank at the cheap spring price of $1.10/L and dont pay $1.30/L like everyone else all summer

BIR is my home track, I've been there hundreds of times. Jed has constantly been improving that property since he bought the facility. BIR is the "funnest" race track in the USA.... God, I love that place!

Same, I was 6 when we first started going there for race weeks/weekends when my old man was on the board from the late ‘80’s-90’s. Many good times and great memories. Looking forward to visiting sometime soon! Hopefully see ya bro

If there's anything I love as much as racing (and music), it's a beautiful, well-thought-out, contemporary home.
Even so, it's rare that I'm ever envious of a home I see, because I have my own idea of the ideal home.
So when I tell you that this setup made me jealous... only thing missing is a sim racing rig off the garage and some place for a studio, and I would buy this from his pops.

The lake is north long lake, my family used to have a cabin on that lake and when the top fuel cars would run, pictures would fall off the walls lol.

It was, had really good fishing too. And when the drift events would go on there would be a cloud of tire smoke that would cover the lake like a fog. Nothing like reeling in a 7 pound northern with the smell of burnt rubber in the air.
We had a cabin on the point, where Birchdale Road turns a hard right corner, and the road below goes down to the public access. Loved going here in the 80's when I was a teen. You're right about the walls rattling. We never had pictures on the wall for that reason.
Ours was 2 places down from the driveway with the lion statues. I dont remember what the roads were, last time I was there I was 15.
Cool. The frontage road that went from the main gate of the racetrack, all the way around the back side of the track (and along North Long Lake), was Birchdale Road. Remember the Arrow gas station and convenience store? All that stuff is gone now, but it was a hell of a fun time back then. I loved the free tickets we got to all the major races, including the Northstar Nationals.
I want to say VIR did this same thing about 10 years ago, though wherever it was your garage was attached to an area where you could pull on track quite easily. Sounded like a hell of a good idea then!
Holy effen dam.....never had a hero until now. Huge tip of my hat going to this humble track owner. Built Dad a badazz pad an is good with his DW....for now obviously but still. And of course another great vid from the 1320 crew...always impressed with their constant grind!

Fun fact, Courtney Hansen who is known for the host of Overhaulin, her dad once owned BIR (Brainerd International Raceway) (From 1973 to 2006) and we used to party with her WAY WAY back in the day there before she was TV famous. Also, that is my home/local track. Its a little over an hour from me and I have been going there for well over 30 years.

Sorry 1st house wins with car $$$ amount, SR's mill $$ car was worth the most, the rest aren't that expensive as the chassis are ruled ineligible for competition as rules changed, maybe $500k for all cup cars combined

Two Car Garage you’re not just going to get the architectural plans for free. Just the drafting is hella expencive. But you could probably re create it
