I bought a pair of khakis decades ago and now that I can finally fit in them I see that there is no zipper pull. 😫 All the tags are still on the pants; I never dreamed that I purchased them with a broken zipper. I removed the same type pull from an old pair of shorts and put it on the pants using your method. You saved my sanity and some money! 💜

There are two types of bottom stoppers. In one, you can unbend small teeth and remove stopper. Another type is monolithic, it can be removed only by completely destroying it with pliers.

I had to remove a little more stitching on the inside of my jeans, and it didn't show on the outside. Just keep removing a little more along the rib of the zippier until the old slider will slide off.

Believe it or not I actually got about 7 pairs of jeans that have this problem I've let them stack up o we the years soni hope this works because they want $15 a pair at the cleaners

The most important thing is to find right zipper slider. Its size and model should be exactly the same as on zipper of your jeans.
