Not sure which is braver--riding a bike through Manhattan traffic or taking the crime-ridden subway. I'm impressed! I never take the subway anymore, though I should, because NYC taxi fares seem to have doubled in price. (I don't take those other car services--it's a gamble who the driver might be.) I too find the subway claustrophobic, and, well, I just don't want to die by being pushed onto the tracks by a schizophrene. (Now watch, I'll fall through an open manhole or self-combust at the Dairy Queen....) Forgive my morbid humor. Anyway, sounds like you had a fun trip. I love that sleek cat, Monk! You should dress him up like a beatnik--dark glasses, Basque beret, striped French sailor shirt, red neckerchief, and let him play jazz piano...😎 (Strains of "Alley Cat", that famous cocktail lounge piece by a guy called--I kid you not!--Bent Fabric.) Come to think of it, your cat should only play stuff by Thelonious Monk!
Lol… I cracked up reading your comment! Definitely brave taking the subway I so agree with you. 😄 the bikes, however, are super crazy but somehow at the same time so glorious. And for some reason the crazier and busier it is, the more fun they are. 🥰 I love the cute little description you shared for decorating monk up , that would be adorable. That might need to be something I paint in the future. I kind of wanted to do a painting of all my cats, but have them have some little character theme to them. Definitely hats I don’t know why I love a good little hat on a little animal critter 😄 Thank you for watching and sharing with me good info as always.
