I use stickers off boxes and packages, just about anything I can peel off for my planners-I even get the labels off wine and beer bottles, the beautiful, artistic ones.
So wise!! I bought a lot of inexpensive stickers - then realised exactly what you said ie that labels, leaflets, flyers etc can be cut up and made into stickers (all you need is a bit of glue!) and that's much more 'personalised' than buying stuff. Good on you.
I'm so happy I came across your channel a while ago ! I have love-hate relationship with Moleskine purely because of the paper quality. I love fountain pens, watercolour, tombows and posca, and my newest moleskine expanded has the unfriendly type of paper, but I'm just working with it lol. But what I really want to say is the fact that watching your videos helped me release my creativity and not care if it looks perfect or not, my notebook now actually does it job, which is document my stuff. I am also a part of planner community and seeing the perfect spreads and journal entries kinda held me back from expressing myself, even though I don't post my stuff on social media. It's refreshing to see someone's creativity run freely and that someone is YOU !
Awww!! Your message absolutely made my day! And welcome to my channel! You're in the right place as I can totally relate to the love-hate relationship with Moleskine notebooks. The paper quality can be hit or miss, especially when you’re into fountain pens, watercolors, and other art supplies. But I'm happy you’ve found a great approach by rolling with it and letting the imperfections become part of the process. That's what it's all about...the process! I’m so glad my videos have helped you feel freer in your creativity. The pressure to create picture-perfect spreads can definitely make journaling feel more like a chore than a joy. But seeing your comment on how you've let go of that mindset and embrace the real purpose of your notebook-capturing your life as it is-is exactly what I hope to inspire. Keep exploring, keep playing, and most importantly, keep making it uniquely yours!! Happy Journaling! 🩷Happy you're here!
I also use wax paper to put stickers on to use later, which makes it easy to peel off when I'm ready 🎉 I have a whole box underneath my desk full of things to put in my journals scavenged from different places. I need to make more time to play in my journals. Thank you so much for all of your lovely videos!! ❤❤❤
I really resonate with your comment about finding a journaling system that works for you, and not getting sucked into the hype. I've been suckered into so many things and felt so guilty when it didn't work for me, but I'm finally finding a system I like, and it's so rewarding!
I used for my latest journal a bunch of stickers I'd collected over the years including some cute Disney stickers. And on the inside I like to add little things like old tea bag packaging, fortune cookie messages, magazine clippings and old movie ticket stubs to decorate inside. I love all the creative ideas you have for your journals!
@@Ghostykitten thank you for sharing such wonderful ideas! Adding tea bag packaging is a fun thing to do, especially collecting ones from hotels, or out-of-town travels. I’m sure your journal is just full of fun stuff!!
Came in here because you referred me to this video when I asked a question about the stickers. Thankyou so much for taking the time to reply me and giving me the link. I’m a little screwed because I don’t travel or order packages online ever since I got sick and haven’t been working. But I’m going to tell my daughters to save anything from their Amazon packages. I found some labels at dollar tree and I love the paint circles you made and I did it to one of my journals. TFS 💕
It's called Waxed Paper (for keeping stickers you want for later). Sticking those perfume cards into your journals is a brilliant idea not only because they look gorgeous but they also scent the journal - fantastic!
I love your concept "if you look hard then anything can be a sticker". I had so many beautiful tags that i threw few days ago and now i feel sad cause i could've used them as stickers 😢
I absolutely LOVE this! ❤ Thank you for sharing this information. I never throw away art that I'm disappointed in ... I tear it up and use it for projects like this.
omg thank you so much for this cool idea of reusing daily little things as stickers, you come across!!! I was cleaning my room a little, while watching ur vid! and immedietly found sth i could use!! Really inspiring

Yay! One of the most soothing voices to help with this dang headache! 🤍Have you received your other Amazon order with the new Moleskin notebooks? I hope they're the same quality as the other two 🤞🏽🤞🏽
i took off the fragile sticker from the Baum Kuchen package too. i have ordrerd some stickers from nice enough stickers. I found some locally too. I put them on my field notes and others notebooks.
You are awesome! I have been using the community magazines that are free, for pictures of animals, lettering, and seasonal pictures (fall foliage). I bet a lot of people have a relative who reads magazines and has a big pile of them ✂️ I have also been cutting items off of material to make a collage of flowers and rainbows.
Another option if you can find anything, just check online and print your own. You can even print on sticker paper or Kraft paper etc and make your own ‘ephemera’ or labels! 👍
@@tortagialla yes! Love that idea and use that as well, especially with bulkier ephemera. Using sticker paper is such a game changer! I always use that for my printables. Makes it so much easier to stick-n-go! Thanks for sharing!🩷
I love this! Ty for the inspiration! If you ever want to take a label off of some thing and make it look a little more new (not sure that is what I mean) you can always use a heat gun and heat it a little bit and peel it off. Although I do love the worn look you get from peeling it off as is.
I love your ideas! I recently tried peeling off the red hibiscus sticker from a Fiji water bottle and added it to my journal. Would you believe I still have a couple of OG Smash books I haven’t used? Maybe I’ll use one when my current art journal is full.
Oh, yes!! I've peeled that hibiscus flower off, too! haha! You still have some Smash Books?? LUCKY! Had I known they were going to go out of business, I would've stocked up! 😅😅
I use junk mail, I use pictures from Instagram and I finally think I mastered the Instagram. 🤔 I think. I use the goodies I get from etsy shops and random stuff I find on packages from food and snacks. 🤷🏻♀️
I got influenced by you and got myself a moleskin (400 page one). I’m excited to use it in 2025. I also got a 能率手帳ゴールド(noritsu techo gold) with my name on it for 2025💕
I just received my order from Amazon for two of the Moleskin 400 page notebooks and to my surprise the rapper comes around it the little strip the ones I got came from Italy and on the backside of the strip there’s little things you can cut out and use like little slogans like have a nice day , do not touch. And they had the little yellow quality control sticker. They’re both yellow. I’ve never noticed they’re being a message on the backside of the strips that come on the books. Have you seen that before?
you are a true inspo! 💌 i wonder...where do you find penpals? In my teens i had like 82 penpqls from all over the world but...they kinda disappeared through time
I don’t know if you know this but if you take a blow dryer or heating gun and place it over your sticker, the heat makes it come out nicely and fast. Unless you like the rip and tears then don’t try it lol
