By cynical grumpers do you mean people who understand the difference between good stories and total garbage and who don't just moronically consume product and content?
@@hankscorpion9939 "cynical grumpers", just so we're clear. 1. Have lost the ability to anticipate Star Wars content with an open, unjaded, hopeful mind. 2. Wish to present as intellectual superiority or sophistication of taste the fact that they don't like certain content and but others do. 3. Generally introduce an air of negativity into any discussion or thread where a whiff of positivity concerning Disney Star Wars - however small - may appear to be emerging. 4. Feel rising blood pressure at the mere mention or image of Disney Star Wars content and/or Kathleen Kennedy.
@@PeteOliva I agree that some people have become way too cynical, including some Star Wars content creators. If it weren't for disney, we would not have Rogue One, Andor or the Mandalorian, all of which I like a lot. On the flipside, there are a lot of people who seem to just not want to hold Disney up to any sort of standards at all, and seem to be willing to accept anything and also expect others do the same. The reality is that disney messed up the post RotJ era very badly, in an objective sense. And this has pissed off a huge amount of fans, and particularly those who were more invested in what is now called 'legends', or who have been emotionally attached to the OT and its characters for their whole lives It feels like their is a lot of bad blood, because the fandom has been split, and support of the sequels probably does mean that Disney will be a lot less inclined to do anything to appease the fans they have driven away. This is why I wish they would just split the timeline, and then this might allow both sids to get what they want, moreorless
Ben Solo coming back and Finn finally getting the spot light as a jedi would be the only reasons I'd be slightly interested. I'd love to see a dynamic like Han and Luke with Po and Finn, but now as a jedi. Ben solo carried the crappy sequel trilogy and is interesting enough to actually make a movie about. Rey was so poorly written, and Theory is right with saying there's not much there to write about to advance her character, like she already defeated someone like Palps. Ben Solo is the way to go if Disney is dead set on returning to these characters, he has so much more to offer IMO.
I just want Ben Solo back, RESURRECTED, and the Dyad reunited. I HATED IX for about 50 reasons but his death is the main one. I love the idea of a Ben trilogy, but I'm not quite sure what to make of this Rey film, due to all the unknowns. I hate the idea of 15 years later. I can see her being the focus or really just a "cameo mentor" to sell more tickets.
No Ben Solo don't care. They have to be smart enough to know that if he's not in it though the movie will bomb. Anyone saying it won't bomb without Adam Driver is kidding themselves lol
You think a movie with Daisy, John, Oscar and potentially an older Grogu would bomb? The first Star Wars film in 6 years? No chance. It’s fair to say tho that they need Adam to really maximize the potential and it seems like they are aware of that.
Nobody cares! Nobody is going to see this movie. There are not enough Rey simps to make this movie a success, nobody is going to license anything for this movie because it will rott on the shelves. For Star Wars to survive, they need the next movie to be a huge success. If this is the next movie, Star Wars is already dead. I promise it won't even make 500 million. This will be one of the most shocking/not shocking failures in cinematic history. To accept Rey is to accept the sequels. Won't happen.
They could rewrite the Jacen and Jaina Solo twins storyline... Rey could give birth to twins either with a resurrected Ben Solo or another "immaculate conception" arc where the Force gives her one light and one dark child to balance the Force since there are no more Sith. Ben could appear as a force ghost if he's not resurrected.
@@leslielarge8930 Yep. I suspect Baylan and Shin are grey jedi who came from the past through the WBW too. I just hope they don't overdo the WBW angle. It can be a copout to retcon anything.
I'm in my mid-40s and I'm late to being a SW fan but, here I am *shrug*. What I can say as an outsider and newb, is that everyone seems to have an opinion on why either the prequels suck or the sequels suck but, as a new fan, I enjoy all of them fully and completely, and I'm so glad I'm not so entrenched in the entire SW universe that I can't simply enjoy all the stories as-is. I love them all and I can't wait for whatever sequels to the sequels they come up with. I'll watch, and I'm sure I'll enjoy.
@23Lííís I was applying that I have no interest in this. I don't think it would be a great storytelling move but since none of their ideas are great right now that if they did bring him back I might actually watch it because I liked his character. Thats it, geez people. Do I think they should or will. No, but this video stated they might and I was saying that might entice me to watch it because I like Adam Driver, thats it.
Bring back Ben Solo! He was the most compelling character in the sequel trilogy. It was a huge miss opportunity to not center the story around him. You could’ve still had the dyad story with Rey but she felt too much of a Mary Sue with little character development. I really hope they develop Rey more and bring back Ben! That should be the main goal of this upcoming movie. And show was some wicked stuff with the dyad, which hasn’t been done in any of the recent shows. This would generate a lot of interest…
I agree wholeheartedly. Ben was the best thing about the sequels bringing him back is a make it or break it with me. I don't want a force ghost. They need to actually revive him. It can be done, they have all the pieces. They just need to put them together.
I really dont understand why anyone would go to the cinema to watch this. The sequels didnt do anything to make me care for the characters at all. And its not like last time where there was a hunger for more Star Wars, but now we have streaming shows of varying caliber of quality. I for one would never pay to see this in the cinema, i can easyli wait untill it hit streaming.
Yes, I have no issues with self-contained movies. I'm all for self-contained movies, and when you need longer form storytelling, just give it the limited series treatment.
It works like this, if this movie is successful; meaning it makes a lot of money, there will be sequels. If it fails, then it will be a single story. That's not my opinion or something I read in an online article. Kathleen Kennedy said this just a few days ago at the Star Wars Celebration event. She and Disney, don't want to commit to doing more than one more movie with Rey unless it succeeds at the box office. So, think carefully about only wanting to see a single story with Rey. If it happens that way, it will be because the movie barely brakes even or is a flop.
@@Kwolfx you're reading far far into what Kathleen Kennedy said, they're doing 3 anthrology films, which will lead to Episodes X, XI, and XII, in the future, whatever film performs the best both @ box office and with critics and audiences will be what they move forward with ultimately, for the sequels, so we could get a X, XI, and XII which could go from say 9.5, or 6.5 films into a Post Episode IX film, which would be a new sequel trilogy, so right now, i think it's smart for Lucasfilm, and ultimately Disney to see what resonates with fans the most, and i have a feeling it will be the Dave Filoni film which will resonate the most with fans, especially if they can get Pedro Pascal to sign on for that film, i think they should also consider wrapping Mando and Ashoka Verse's up soon, that way they can focus, primarily, on the 6.5 film, which after that film they can have a time jump to a Post Episode IX sequel trilogy, which will encapsulate possibly aspects from both the 6.5, and 9.5 films, and they can capitalize off of both sequel fans and Mando, and Ashoka fans, assuming that a few characters from The Ashoka Verse survive 2 Seasons, because Ashoka will, from what I've heard, be just 2 Seasons, I'm guessing so that they can wrap both Mando and Ashoka Verse's up together before the new 6.5 film comes out, just some thoughts, but if i was in the business of making $$$ i would definitely throw some films out there, and see what sticks with both audiences and critics alike, and then also box office and merchandising aswell...
@@JjAnteros - If they all get made. Lucas Film's track record of announcing projects that never come to fruition is telling. Bringing Daisey Ridley out for Star Wars Celebration demonstrates they are going all-in with her movie. And I am certain there is a strong desire to do all three of these movies. However, wanting to do all three of these movies is one thing, proof of concept; that it won't be a case of throwing money away, is another. The next Star Wars movie should provide or undermine that proof.
So if the old Ahsoka leaks are true about her being in the world Between Worlds where she is shown alternate timelines most likely she will be showing the original timeline were the sequel Trilogy happened, she would tell Luke about Ben solo turning to the dark side and they would avoid that happening and she would also know about Ray and they would most likely get her when she was a baby or toddler and then she would be trained by Luke in the New Jedi Temple that would now not be destroyed because Ben solo did not turn to the dark side
Seconded. Mainly avoiding all the universe breaking situations in the sequels which is my main beef. Characters can have arcs, be mind controlled, whatever they can be written better or simply evolve. It's harder to fix things like unconscious force shielding yourself in the cold vacuum of space, for example. But we dreaming, we gotta live with all that stuff somehow. An unreliable narrator retelling of those events .. As I say, a hard to fix problem.
Thats the dream, my friend. I got no problem with Rey or Ben having another shot at being main characters of a new trilogy....this time, in a better timeline with better writing.
As someone who actually likes the sequels, I think this is still an INCREDIBLE idea and exactly what they should be working towards. This would essential create separate canon timelines, kind of like what has happened with The Legend of Zelda lore, where there are essentially three different timelines to that lore and all ARE canon, but there's kind of "good outcome" timelines and a "bad outcome" timeline. I think it would be amazing to have the "bad" timeline, where Ben dies, and an alternate "good" timeline, where Ben is saved and Rey is trained from youth, their dyad discovered early and entirely with them on the same side and them just being this incredible force for the light. My only sadness here is dealing with Carrie being gone and not being able to be a part of it, and there not being a chance in hell Harrison would come back. I'm certain they could get Mark back, because I think he'd like that pitch and would be down.
@@PeteOliva don't know if I'd like this concept as a plan to begin with but as we are at the place we are at and the fandom is where it is I can respect this take 🙏🏽☺️
Rey's existence means that the destruction of Luke's character is canon, that's the big problem, and as long as it continues star wars is dead, long live Mario!
Pathetic. The destruction of luke's character??? I for one loved the last jedi. My third favorite movie in the franchise. It was bold, unique. Luke Skywalker continued to be an interesting character, a flawed one yes, but still interesting. He went down as a true Jedi. Fought back with out the need of any violence. Rey wouldn't be were she is now without Luke's help. But things weren't as some fans wanted and they are now crying about it. I still believe this is a mess of a trilogy for sure. That is undeniable, but we must move on an see what's beyond the horizon. Is either that, abandon the series, or buy the franchise to turn it into what ever you like.
@@TK-867 just because it's unique doesn't mean it's good. They purposefully regressed all of his development from the originals just to give him a big 'comeback' moment at the end. They willingly ignored the fact that he saw good in one of the most evil men in the galaxy, just to create a useless character arc.
I’m down for a Ben Solo resurrection story. That’s really the only interesting story I can think of. May ad we’ll get to at Triad going and bring Luke back too.
I personally think it's a "bridge" movie. I think that the purpose of this movie is to be a springboard from which to establish canon going forward. Introduce new heroes, new villains, new themes, etc.
Agree. My theory is they’re going to sorta do to the Sequels what the Sequels did with the OT & PT- bring old characters on screen just to show us their time is done, here’s the NEW new characters. Some pass-the-torch plot to a new cast bc Lucasfilm sh!t the bed with this cast and squandered the potential w/ Driver, Ridley & Boyega It’s a poor route to take but prbly the only one they feel they have. The sequel trilogy is a narrative dead end there is no seamless way out of it.
I agree, and I think the reason why they have not announced any trilogies is due to them taking their time which is exactly what we want them to do. Not sure what all the hate for Rey is for, I understand issues with the story but with a good script I think they can finally do Rey right.
@Milena people have mentioned this but if that was true then they should have had them have them the natural way in 9. And people won't be happy with a force baby lol
Ahsoka not being killed by Vader alters timeline but in a weird way, we get a reintroduction of the sequel trilogy characters with good Ben solo and Finn training with Luke but Rey raised by Thrawns Empire as a Sith/dark Jedi
I just need to bring Ben Solo back alive already. We've been hearing about it since TROS... I hope it's finally happening! If he doesn't come back I really won't care about this movie as much, and I think that's the case for many fans.
Well Disney MUST RETCONN Episodes 8 and 9!! Then go back and FIX THIS MESS! If not then those will NOT WORK AT ALL!! You can't ressurect Kylo Ren. If so then why can't Luke be Ressurected? Or Leia, or Han Solo, or Darth Vader, or Darth Maul, or Obi-Wan? This makes NO SENSE at all
You mentioned in a previous review how the Dyad (Light/dark balance) was a very Star Wars theme. But to create balance, he has to have some Kylo left in him - or as Adam said, what does he have to be redeemed for?
@@AudStarWarsFive I've read several articles saying the opposite. He wants to forget star wars. He's allowed to change his mind. The articles were a couple of months ago
@Dark Angel those were all clickbait lol. They literally put words in his mouth. I'm honestly super confident at this point that he will be in the movie. I mean the fact that the script writer has redemption and reunion stories all over it definitely feels sus. Not to mention that the prior writers ideas are now wrights and lindelhoff is a love story Guy. So I suspect some reylo too tbh
Appreciate you trying to bring theory around on this one on stream last night. If handled well (and if it doesn’t die on the cutting room floor) I think this has potential to be good, which is how I’m looking at all these announcements
The world between worlds is how they can bring him back. It is how Ezra Bridger saved Ahsoka from being killed by Vader. He brought her through a time portal as she was about to be killed.
Here's the thing Yes Disney said they are bringing back Rey and maybe other sequel characters but the key word is "Characters" not actors..Keep in mind this takes place 15 yrs after TLS so they could use completely different actors to play these parts 💯
Also I'm open to them "fixing" or maybe doing the characters more justice with more coherent and less universe breaking dialogue/ writing. Otherwise for me, no matter how many projects before and after the sequel trilogy there will always be this broken thing just there. And despite any good ideas executed in those films for people. I mean one could argue we got a whole film in Rogue One that "fixed" the idea of why a superweapon could possibly be constructed with a fatal flaw in that thermal exhaust port.
Dude, you don't know how bringing Back Ben solo give me so hope 💯. He was one of my absolute fav characters in star wars ! When he died I was very disappointed, but now..... I'm ready to wait years for him to come back!!!
Okay I wouldn't mind having Kylo Ren back but not Rey. Kylo Ren should go to the World between Worlds in Rebels and take back his family name, his uncle's lightsaber and ship. Then erase Rey from time. Start fresh with Adam Driver being the new Skywalker. Ahsoka would help him do it too. Afterall Ben's grandfather is Ahsoka's Master.
Listen, it’s kinda easy, Ray would somehow heard about Ashoka or Ezra, and they would help her to go in world between worlds to get Ben Solo back … it would be pretty cool and merged story of Ashoka and Sequels
They will not do it justice. They aren’t concerned with that. They’re concerned the Sequel Trilogy has not made multiple avenues of profit (games, theme parks, hotels, films, toys, costumes, etc) The only way they can hold onto this IP (which is VITAL to keeping investors from jumping ship) is by making a do over but truly leave the skywalker saga and SW lore behind as we once knew it since it’s been narratively destroyed. Instead of putting things right they’ll be setting things anew. Villains most likely not be Sith anymore; Jedi can be totally diff now since Rey is in charge and no formal learning is being passed down from the old Jedi; it will be called something else besides Republic; the Force will feel/look/move differently. This is what some fans mean when they simply say “Star Wars might be officially gone”-with the Sequel Trilogy it was bastardizing what we knew already but we had things like C-3PO, Chewbacca, the Millennium Falcon, TIE fighters in the background to latch onto. There was pieces of familiarity/nostalgia. Going forward there will be less of that. It won’t feel/look/hell with John Williams gone it won’t SOUND like Star Wars. It’ll be a different IP come 2026
I see so many people that blame Disney directly for what happened with the sequel trilogy. There's some truth to that, but not for the reasons most people who hate the films seem to think. It all comes down to them treating Star Wars as a business acquisition. For Lucas, it was definitely a business venture, but it was also a fantasy story that he was passionate about. Lucas personally oversaw the making of every Star Wars film. He had a single vision for the overarching story, had a hand in the script writing, and ensured a story continuity. When Disney took over, the had a huge bill to cover, and treated the property as a cash cow. They wanted to use the films to recruit new talent, and made the BIG mistake of offering three different people complete control of their individual installment of a single story arc. It was a recipe for disaster right from the start. Then they gave Rian "Burn it to the Ground" Johnson, who was know specifically for films that subvert tropes, the middle film of a legendary franchise that was built on fandom and tropes. The messy sequel trilogy was the direct result of that single baffling decision. Kathleen Kennedy should have known better. The good news is that they seem to be learning from their mistakes.
Makes sense Driver could come back bcuz he’s a competent actor, they’ve already invested in him, and there’s no other prominent while male hetero strong Jedi lead right now for that significant portion of fandom to get behind. I’m all far a diversified group of Jedi, but ya gotta throw those diehard SW fans a bone.
It's concerning to think that a franchise can be ruined by one bad installment, and it's even more alarming to hope that the next one won't be as bad. Those who are eagerly anticipating the next installment should take a moment to reflect on their expectations and whether or not they're setting themselves up for disappointment.
Honestly, they should introduce a star wars multiverse. Yes just like in marvel, yes just like in DC. Will it be repetitive? YES!! Do i think it’s the only way to make this new trilogy and ALSO make the original sequel trilogy that George Lucas intended?? YESS. Just think about it. You could see Luke Skywalker as the Founder of the Jedi Order being alive. Han and Leias Children. Darth Maul, Darth Talon. And Disney could still STILL make their version of the events playing out differently. Bottom line would be: All disappointed Fans would be satisfied. Disney could open themselves an even bigger frame of storytelling possibilities for more movies. Where how it has been, they just knew they had to eyeball every new movie. Whilst they didn’t. I mean they could get creative using a Multiverse Explainer. Could satisfy everyone. A Star Wars NO WAY HOME type of movie. Starring everyone’s favorites joining in an avengers type of movie. The Mandalorian being on the big screen, being a main character, Ahsoka, Luke, Ezra, Boba Fett Just imagine it! just imagine it! Then do it „Do it“

I actually wonder if we will ever see again maybe in live action The Whills. These god-like beings did show up just one time for Yoda and Qui Gon and that's it.
Adam Driver carried these trilogies. The fact he turned good and they killed him off was a dumb decision in a dumpster full of dumb decisions. No one cares about Rey and most other characters because no one really cares about being reminded of the garbage that was the sequel trilogy.
No they won't do that. Kathleen Kennedy has gotten the brand setup with the female hero representative she wants. Now she is going to show that off. That's simply how it is going to be.
Damn son....when I opened RUclips a few days ago and saw the Main news about our fav strong 'femme of the force' coming back to StarWars....the noise I made (under my breath mind) was i think was the noise heard all round the world ....I think like Krakatoa it's still being felt!.....and this is only the beginning- strap on,its gonna be a bumpy ride 🕝
Unless these characters are coming back to die, then I am not interested in any new movies surrounding them. With the exception of Finn, he deserves a true second chance without the rest of them. Also, these characters ruined the original trilogy characters in the sequel trilogy. So unless they are set up to die, then I do not care about any new films surrounding them.
Personally it sickens me that Bob Iger is so concerned about his legacy that he has to cram this down SW fan's throats. I don't like the character of Rey or the LACK OF CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE CAST! To put fans through this horrid redemption AGAIN, is ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY, and I WILL NEVER consider 7,8,9 + cannon. I will NOT SUPPORT this movie under any circumstance. DISNEY'S DESTROYED Star Wars, and they will NEVER be able to correct THEIR INTENTIONAL SABOTAGE.
The Skywalker lineage living on is a plus for fans👍 If Disney wants to make that multi billion dollar saga I say do a reworked version of the Yuuzhan Vong War with folks from all franchises teaming up in the last movie of the trilogy. Ben would be resurrected in the first and by the third have been a renown force for the Jedi. Imagine having Ahsoka, The Mandalorians, The Jedi and New Republic and possibly villains teaming up to take on new threat.. A war saga definitely would be my go to for the franchise..
As much as the sequels pained me and did no work to establish how things could have gone so wrong after such a short time. I'm really hoping somehow this will be some glue explaining what the hell happened. Maybe show Rey dealing with real issues, have anakins ghost finally return to spell things out and teach. It's aweful that the legacy characters are just gone. Buy maybe we can get Luke and Anakin explaining the diad and how the chosen one is more open ended. Or that Anakin was still the catalyst to cause Palpatine end. All that being said, it will require a bit of a miracle to fix all the mistakes in the last films. And some are just unfixable after that much damage.
Maybe its just the beginning. If people like it and it makes a lot of money, they will continue. I want REY back, but I want finally a good Story for her.

I already know how they’re gonna bring Ben back… just four words, the World Between Worlds. That’s how they’ll bring him back.
If they do the world between worlds, then they should retcon the entire triology....
Do a new sequel trilogy...
Exactly, if they use the world between worlds, they should use it to fix lots of others things, not just for Kylo Ren
"Somehow, Ben Solo returned."
Let’s hope so!!!
It's going to bomb if it ever comes out. They burnt us way too bad with the previous movies. The majority of fans will not reward them this time. I really think this movie is actually the project to remove KK. I think it's why Dave's movie is last and none of his characters will be in the Rey movie, so that after KK is gone, they can get rid of the sequels and the Rey movie.
I disagree with this. I think you underestimate the optimism of Star Wars fans. Fewer of us than you think are cynical grumpers.
By cynical grumpers do you mean people who understand the difference between good stories and total garbage and who don't just moronically consume product and content?
@@hankscorpion9939 Hasbro themselves said the sequel trilogy toys underperformed compared to the OT & PT. Plus Lego hasn’t made an ST set in 3 years.
And this has pissed off a huge amount of fans, and particularly those who were more invested in what is now called 'legends', or who have been emotionally attached to the OT and its characters for their whole lives
It feels like their is a lot of bad blood, because the fandom has been split, and support of the sequels probably does mean that Disney will be a lot less inclined to do anything to appease the fans they have driven away.
Disney: “wow we messed this up, how about we do it again!”
My thoughts exactly.
Yup 😢 i love Rey too, but Ben was definitely my favorite character. Im still upset over what happened. They need to bring him back
You’re the one that’s deluding yourself
You think a movie with Daisy, John, Oscar and potentially an older Grogu would bomb? The first Star Wars film in 6 years? No chance. It’s fair to say tho that they need Adam to really maximize the potential and it seems like they are aware of that.
@@OhioKing_Z that's what I'm saying. You proved my point.
Only way audiences will genuinely be interested in following the story is Ben’s return no matter how ridiculous the path they take to get there.

Fans will rage if they bring back Ben and not Luke. Either both or none at all.
Miraculous Conception?

I'm in my mid-40s and I'm late to being a SW fan but, here I am *shrug*. What I can say as an outsider and newb, is that everyone seems to have an opinion on why either the prequels suck or the sequels suck but, as a new fan, I enjoy all of them fully and completely, and I'm so glad I'm not so entrenched in the entire SW universe that I can't simply enjoy all the stories as-is. I love them all and I can't wait for whatever sequels to the sequels they come up with. I'll watch, and I'm sure I'll enjoy.
Bringing Ben Solo back is the only way I could possibly be excited. Driver was the best thing about the sequel trilogy.

It would be the worst thing they could do. He died in the last film.
@fundhund62 nope worst thing they could do is make Rey the main character. End of story.

Terrible idea. He died in the last film.
Naw I'm not interested in a Rey movie. I don't think I'd even watch it on disney+.

@@Lightguardian_HOH I loke Star Wars, just not the terrible sequels.
I like the idea of having a single story instead of a trilogy.
They have proven they lack the ability to do a trilogy so maybe this is the best way going forward.
Bring back Ben Solo 😢
So if the old Ahsoka leaks are true about her being in the world Between Worlds where she is shown alternate timelines most likely she will be showing the original timeline were the sequel Trilogy happened, she would tell Luke about Ben solo turning to the dark side and they would avoid that happening and she would also know about Ray and they would most likely get her when she was a baby or toddler and then she would be trained by Luke in the New Jedi Temple that would now not be destroyed because Ben solo did not turn to the dark side
Ok that would make a pretty good movie. I would want to see that.
@@PeteOliva don't know if I'd like this concept as a plan to begin with but as we are at the place we are at and the fandom is where it is I can respect this take 🙏🏽☺️
It's a mistake not to focus on the previous characters like Rey & especially Ben Solo.
Rey's existence means that the destruction of Luke's character is canon, that's the big problem, and as long as it continues star wars is dead, long live Mario!
Dead? 😂 it more alive then ever 🔥
Let it go baby bro
That’s why I refuse to watch the new movie

Some pass-the-torch plot to a new cast bc Lucasfilm sh!t the bed with this cast and squandered the potential w/ Driver, Ridley & Boyega
It’s a poor route to take but prbly the only one they feel they have.
I agree with this but how the f would they be successful when all the skywalkers are dead? They need related kids in 10 11 12

They have to get Adam Driver. Ben is the one character from the sequels that most people seem to like.
Ahsoka not being killed by Vader alters timeline but in a weird way, we get a reintroduction of the sequel trilogy characters with good Ben solo and Finn training with Luke but Rey raised by Thrawns Empire as a Sith/dark Jedi

No Ben Solo, don't care. Simple as that. Rey isn't interesting enough on her own IMO.

Okay I wouldn't mind having Kylo Ren back but not Rey.
Kylo Ren should go to the World between Worlds in Rebels and take back his family name, his uncle's lightsaber and ship.
Then erase Rey from time.

Rey can bring back Ben Solo in the world between worlds like how Ezra was able to bring back Ahsoka is the world between worlds
My expectations for the Rey movie are through the floor after seeing who the director is. Absolutely it's going to be another disney dumpster fire.

I lost hope. Star Wars is Dead to a lot of fans

Reylo returns. This time, ReyBen. Love to see more stories set after TROS!
Still a plan of resurrection? That would be dope
Bottom line would be:
All disappointed Fans would be satisfied.

If Disney wants to make that multi billion dollar saga I say do a reworked version of the Yuuzhan Vong War with folks from all franchises teaming up in the last movie of the trilogy. Ben would be resurrected in the first and by the third have been a renown force for the Jedi. Imagine having Ahsoka, The Mandalorians, The Jedi and New Republic and possibly villains teaming up to take on new threat.. A war saga definitely would be my go to for the franchise..
considering it was announced years ago.. and im talking around the force awakens era, they wanted to do 3 movies after this trilogy, ain't a surprise.
Not using the legacy characters enough was a huge mistake by the sequel trilogy.
They could bring back Kylo in the way they brought back Starkiller for force unleashed 2. Just bring in a dark side clone.
This is Mike Zeroh level speculation
What are early betting lines that they want to go back to that time period to do something super creative and radical…like bringing back Palpatine
This is going to be a steaming pile of garbage. They kill off their best sequel character (Ben) after they failed to fully develop him. Now they have to mind gymnastics him back in? Maybe as a force ghost.
The script isn't even finished. I doubt there's any credible rumours about the film at this point.
