Amy hasn't been on SNL much in the last few years so I thought that cameo in the monologue was all we'd get. A lovely surprise. I appreciate how much Amy still gets and respects the character - still keeping her as determined and upbeat, rather than going the easier comic road of being bitter and toxic.

I appreciate that Aubrey stays true to how nervous April would actually be on SNL ❤️ I'm not sure Leslie would pass up the opportunity to talk about government, but it's really adorable that she'd want to tell a joke. I appreciate any new Parks & Rec appearances where the characters aren't repeating old memes from the show; they didn't even have April say "I love garbage." New jokes and still in-character. Gotta love it
It's nice to see characters come back for a few cameos after their show's long done. Always a neat 'what are they doing now' especially when its a long-lived character folks get invested in.

My favorite April moment is when she plans the animal adoption and a woman drops off her pet instead and April starts screaming and swearing as she starts running after the woman. So her dog catcher comment was perfect
