I fractured my tailbone when I was learning my axel 17 years ago. I'm now returning back to the ice at 28 years old and SO scared of reinjuring my tailbone again! I'm going to be heavily padded for protection lol
I got a pair of the spring loaded skate guards and I don't really like them, they fall apart often because they were put together wrong. But the Edea ones are so expensive! Hopefully I can save up money for them :)
Thank you for the video! Do you maybe have an advice what i could get to protect my palms when falling? I wear crash pants and volleyball knee pads every practice cause i'm that clumsy, but keep on hurting my wrists over and over again and couldn't find something that could save them
I think they might sell gloves designed for skaters that have padding in the palm area and possibly added support in the wrist area! I think CRS Cross is the brand that makes them
The fact that you stood on the ice with the hard guards on 😂 I have done that many times because I forgot to take them off and it did NOT end well lol
I love that you have your beginning cross overs in your intro. It’s always important to remember you have to start somewhere and build up.
