I wish to ask your opinion. I own a distillery and use the lx 610 exclusive for our labels. I’m dissatisfied with the black output and the time needed for a 500 label run to laminate. I have never used a separate cutter and would like to know your recommendation for a printer cutter combo and possible videos to learn the process of using two different machines in my process for contoured labels. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I'm going to go off topic here but I'm interested in printing on beer bottle caps but can't seem to find something small that I could do at home. Can you recommend or know of a printer that is specific for that job?

It’s a nice little printer. Biggest issue I have with it is that there is only a couple types of media you can buy from Primera. I found DTM who sells it too, but they are based in Germany, so shipping costs are very expensive.
that media will work as well, but really all i needed was paper or bopp, the epson i use the others etc..
with a separate cutter epson works great as well since larger and no media restriction but still compared to large format prices still high lol
@@DaPrintHouse Oh, for sure. You can't beat the kind of price with roll sizes like you get for wide format.
Are there limitations on the minimum cut size? Looking to cut 8mm circles on the LX610. Possible?
I dont see 8mm being an issue but how many are you btalking?

@@DaPrintHouse thank you!! Downloaded the software to play around with prior to ordering. From your experience what is the best roll to buy for the best looking stickers? Any experience with their laminate mode? Looks like they offer a laminate peel to be applied in between print and cut. From my experience with the cold laminate… it’s hard to go bubble free.
@@DidItForDale unfortunately I got rid of it right before they released that feature. But I would def keep a roll of gloss bopp and paper gloss with matte.
When you buy from uninet I wonder if they give you the pro version of the software. This thing looks like the uninet 250
Uninet rebranded it later. Thats what they do with most of their printers just rebranded and thrn they hike the costs up on printers and consumables
@@DaPrintHouse I'm wondering is it worth it they do give you the pro version of the software off rip I heard but both continuous and precut media have the chips on them. I'm getting into making product lables for perfume bottles and maybe selling stickers on etsy
@@TcVideoHosting Go compare the prices on media and other consumables tbey are waaaaay higher. Rebrand and hike prices makes no sense.
