I just got my lx610 this week. Haven’t done pre-die cut rolls yet. Just messed with the continuous gloss and matte so far. Tried printing from both a Mac and a PC and definitely got better results from a PC. So far no complaints, just got to try and get some business now for it. I’ll see how well they align when I run some pre-die cut rolls.
i bought mine for continous custom die cutting s well but some people on the facebook group were having issues so i figured i would go through setup. congrats on the printer i only use mine for my own product labeling. love it for that.
Confusing. I see iColor 250 in the video title, but I'm not seeing the Uninet iColor 250. I'd like some recommendation between Primara LX610 and Uninet iColor 250.
Hey, I've got a few Primera printers but not the 610e. Have considered getting it, but bought an Afinia L801 instead thanks to Derek over at Sierra Stickers lol. Doing round stickers on the Primera printers has always been a nightmare, there just doesn't seem to be any consistency with the alignment. Have you tried over sizing the label for bleed, say 2.04" round label for 2" labels? I think that's the right size, over here in the UK its all metric and in mm.
Tbh I didn't buy it to do pre die-cut at all. I only did the video for some people in the group. I only use it for my product continuous custom die cut. And has worked flawless for me. But for those looking to do it will have a small margin of variance if doing full bleeds. Otherwise just use pre die-cut with matrix left on etc
@@DaPrintHouse I just use the rolls with the matrix left on for round too. I do want to do custom shapes and was looking at a DPR finisher, sadly it’s a little too over my budget atm so I am considering the 610. Thanks for the videos, enjoy watching them. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
@@ArtisanBuilder ye those DPR finishers wow I guess if I had work needed for it I would buy but I don't lol. I did just buy a DPR rewinder gotta upload the video. Thx for watching!
If you read the manual for the lx610, the print width is 0,5 inches but the label media width can not be smaller than 2,125 inches, i guess because of the sensor. Another thing, if you are using circular labels, the gap sensor must be adjusted to the top of the label, where the circles are closest together, which means down the middle of the label. So you can not really print circular pre-die cut labels that are smaller than 3-4 inches. I tried to print 2,5 circular pre-die cut labels and it jammed. The printer seems to work pretty well with digital die-cut stock label, but has some problems when it comes to pre die cut labels.
Right I read about it in the label. problem is it wouldn't read correctly either way the way i finished in the video was fine but to be honest i will never need this machine for any pre cut labels so its useless for me etc.. hopefully people that do use it for pre die-cut can use that info etc.. its a great little machine..
I need some label templates made. would you be interested in doing them? I need just a kinda generic CBD label made that i can change whenever i need to for my diffent mg sizes . I also have quite a few whoesale customers that i can use the template for.

Stan Banks shouted you out.
Do you have rolls that dont have the perf cut between the circles? The crease being causing it but idk
ye they all have the perf cut between labels.
