EPIC “I found it impossible to say how I felt in that moment. So I decided instead I would just write the story of what happened from beginning to end, because I remembered it all too well.”
My daughter, who is now 30, was 12 when she discovered Taylor Swift. Taylor inspired my Niki to pick up a guitar and teach herself to play. Something my husband (her father), who is a musician and a music teacher, couldn't get her to do. I've been following Taylor since her humble beginnings and I feel so proud of how far she's gotten! I know that she's gone through a lot and I support her with all the re-do's of her original recordings. It's important that she did this - to stand up for herself and for what's right!!! But I do have the original CD's of these songs and, I gotta say, I love the honest innocence and purity in these recordings. It's a moment in time that's impossible to recreate.
Omg same! But I've been in music since I could talk My dad sang for the church almost every Sunday.everyone absolutely loved his voice and watching him sing was so fun! But it's been 2 years since he has passed (I was 12 I'm now 14) And I feel like when he left he gave me his love of music And knowing that hurts cause he won't be able to see me one day go on some talent show like we had talked about.but taylors journey Of how she's taking back her music is inspiring and because of her I also decided to get myself a gutair and I'm currently taking lessons!
Nothing will ever beat this version. I can't buy into the vocals on the re-recording, it's even edited weirdly because the "yeah" after "All Too Well" is kind of just "-eah" like it's spliced together
im a swiftie but sometimes i listen the original version just to remember how i felt in that moment when i first listened the song. ofc i love the TS version and i hate that she was used in that way but it doesnt give me that nostalgia
Damn, she goes beyond her incredible potencial, maybe it is one of the power pop country ballads of all times. May the Lord bless the soul of the guy who inspired this song. Have no clue who the hell is but here you are a song, you deserve it?
Will always prefer this version, both the length and the voice. The naivety, pain, innocence and just the intensity of the shortened version makes it seem so much more real
I walked through the door with you The air was cold But something about it felt like home somehow And I, left my scarf there at your sister's house And you've still got it in your drawer even now Oh, your sweet disposition And my wide-eyed gaze We're singing in the car, getting lost upstate Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place And I can picture it after all these days And I know it's long gone and that magic's not here no more And I might be okay but I'm not fine at all 'Cause there we are again on that little town street You almost ran the red 'cause you were lookin' over at me Wind in my hair, I was there I remember it all too well Photo album on the counter Your cheeks were turning red You used to be a little kid with glasses in a twin-sized bed And your mother's telling stories 'bout you on the tee-ball team You told me 'bout your past thinking your future was me And I know it's long gone and there was nothing else I could do And I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to 'Cause there we are again in the middle of the night We're dancing 'round the kitchen in the refrigerator light Down the stairs, I was there I remember it all too well, yeah And maybe we got lost in translation Maybe I asked for too much But maybe this thing was a masterpiece 'til you tore it all up Running scared, I was there I remember it all too well And you call me up again just to break me like a promise So casually cruel in the name of being honest I'm a crumpled up piece of paper lying here 'Cause I remember it all, all, all Too well Time won't fly, it's like I'm paralyzed by it I'd like to be my old self again But I'm still trying to find it After plaid shirt days and nights when you made me your own Now you mail back my things and I walk home alone But you keep my old scarf from that very first week 'Cause it reminds you of innocence And it smells like me You can't get rid of it 'Cause you remember it all too well, yeah 'Cause there we are again when I loved you so Back before you lost the one real thing you've ever known It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well Wind in my hair, you were there, you remember it all Down the stairs, you were there, you remember it all It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well
it's October 22nd here in Australia so....HAPPY 6 YEARS ANNIVERSARY OF RED! Can't wait to see Taylor on friday for rep tour Melbourne! Sidenote: I do piano covers of her songs!! Definitely covered this one!(;
I love Taylor so much. She's the Queen Of My Heart and is Gorgeous and Fearless. I've been a fan since 2006. In a few months it will be 2019 and I'm still here for My Queen. One day I will meet Taylor Swift. One day I will meet Taylor Swift. One day I will meet Taylor Swift. One day I will meet Taylor Swift. One day I will meet Taylor Swift. 2006- and that's not going to ever "Change" and meeting her would be "Sweeter Than Fiction". One day I will meet Taylor Swift.
Other Swifties can say Taylor's version is always better than the Scott Borchrattish old but I still prefer her old version cause they are more beautiful
I used to think think this masterpiece was her most popular song, but no, it's generic and boring pop song aka Shake It Off she has lots and lots of better pop and country songs than shake it off, in fact, in my opinion Shake It Off it's her only overrated and bad song, in fact i think it shouldn't have been a single
This is still the best version. With the younger voice❤😢
I agree
Yes
this song is so heartbreaking in her young voice, you can hear her feelings

I have the same thing ❤
Sameee
So true 😃... I remember it All too well !! 😊😊
Old or new version, still is Taylor. I love this one, cause it was the first that I listened. Aways give me a little more of emotion
RED DESERVED A GRAMMY!!!!!!!!
One of her best and underrated songs😢❤❤
Damn, she goes beyond her incredible potencial, maybe it is one of the power pop country ballads of all times.
May the Lord bless the soul of the guy who inspired this song. Have no clue who the hell is but here you are a song, you deserve it?
It’s not underrated . It s a masterpiece and a 10 minutes version is unique
@@tizipmg they commented that 5 years ago when Taylor was still hated and all too well wasn’t as known as it is now
@@tizipmgthey commented that 5 years ago
I'm a 34 year old hip hop head. This is the best version
One of the power pop country ballads of all times , damn
It makes me so sad this album didn’t win a grammy
Love Swift's musical pieces from long ago....more wholesome and you can hear the real beauty of her voice.
Experiencing this type of pain right now
❤ I’m so sorry
@@Emily-gx6dd thanks! I’m doing so much better now. At the time it felt like I wouldn’t ever heal. But now I’m 85% better.
OKAY I WAS NOT READY FOR ALL THESE FEELINGS
RED DID DESERVE A GRAMMY
Agreed, even more than 1989 and Midnights
@@SeiyaDLuffynot more than 1989, but all too well definitely should’ve won song of the year
All Too Well 💔
Best song i've heard so far in 2023!
The original is even more painful.
Taylor Nation , thank you so much that's why I say : Taylor is the best person in the whole world !
Will always prefer this version, both the length and the voice. The naivety, pain, innocence and just the intensity of the shortened version makes it seem so much more real
She is not so emotional in this version. In the mature version is way more emotional passionate and angry
Im going to cry😢 bye😭
I walked through the door with you
The air was cold
But something about it felt like home somehow
And I, left my scarf there at your sister's house
And you've still got it in your drawer even now
Oh, your sweet disposition
And my wide-eyed gaze
We're singing in the car, getting lost upstate
Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place
And I can picture it after all these days
And I know it's long gone and that magic's not here no more
And I might be okay but I'm not fine at all
'Cause there we are again on that little town street
You almost ran the red 'cause you were lookin' over at me
Wind in my hair, I was there
I remember it all too well
Photo album on the counter
Your cheeks were turning red
You used to be a little kid with glasses in a twin-sized bed
And your mother's telling stories 'bout you on the tee-ball team
You told me 'bout your past thinking your future was me
And I know it's long gone and there was nothing else I could do
And I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to
'Cause there we are again in the middle of the night
We're dancing 'round the kitchen in the refrigerator light
Down the stairs, I was there
I remember it all too well, yeah
And maybe we got lost in translation
Maybe I asked for too much
But maybe this thing was a masterpiece 'til you tore it all up
Running scared, I was there
I remember it all too well
And you call me up again just to break me like a promise
So casually cruel in the name of being honest
I'm a crumpled up piece of paper lying here
'Cause I remember it all, all, all
Too well
Time won't fly, it's like I'm paralyzed by it
I'd like to be my old self again
But I'm still trying to find it
After plaid shirt days and nights when you made me your own
Now you mail back my things and I walk home alone
But you keep my old scarf from that very first week
'Cause it reminds you of innocence
And it smells like me
You can't get rid of it
'Cause you remember it all too well, yeah
'Cause there we are again when I loved you so
Back before you lost the one real thing you've ever known
It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well
Wind in my hair, you were there, you remember it all
Down the stairs, you were there, you remember it all
It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well
This is a good one 💯
i love this song so so much❤️😩 it’s for sure one of my favorite songs of all time
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING
You can still hear baby Taylor😭😭
She was already 22, far from being a baby
The person meant you can hear the difference in her vocals and how her voice matured
The Best Version ❤❤
No. The mature version is way better
Will always be the superior version!
Talor your the best u r the best singer ever and u have a great and beautiful voice

bye
You are correct. 10 minute version is just so looooooooooooong
@@azulablue6988 that’s kind of how time works!
please Taylor have a tour in India
btw i looooovvvveee this song
I came here because Bangchan's music taste never disappoints! :)
If music & lyric videos, etc; are not in Taylor Swift’s account, they could’ve been transferred from account to account.
She watched a masterpiece get tore up and she rebuilt it into another. Incredibly moving song ❤️
💔💔💔❤ I can't stop hearing it every day
OMG nice song talor love you
I really wanna hear the 10 minute version
same!
same i saw the notification and thought it was and started freaking out lol
Hey Pavani, what do you think about the 10 minutes version now that it’s out ?
this is so cute to see now
And now you can :)
wow the difference in her voice is actually alarming. the sound of trauma and being punched in the throat ;'( love her voice though.
she just got older ig
Newfangled 10 minute version's neat and all, but the song was already perfect. This original version is literally the perfect pop song, no notes.
I love this album!

wait what is the reason behind posting just the original song???
