I first heard Taylor's music when I was 11. Now i'm 22. She is both my childhood and my youth. Her song accompanied me when I first fell in love with a guy, healing my soul when I first broke up, encouraged me when I got my first job... I got a lot of support from Taylor. I am very grateful for that.
I am 51 (a Switfie at 50) and I haven't been this excited for a record release since I don't know when. Taylor has the power to reach people of all ages with her songs and music. Her projects bring out the excited little girl in me, like the one who is running to Target right now to get this long-awaited cd! So giddy and stoked for it. Thank you Taylor for your craftmanship, lyrics and music and Happy RED weekend to all TS fans!
@Fieldsofhorses Roam, I'm 53 and feel exactly the same as you! Discovered Taylor when my daughter did in middle school (she's 23 now) and we're both Swifties! Saw her twice in concert, 1989 and Reputation tour. Tried to get tickets for Red, but couldn't. This album is a masterpiece!
i'm 13 years old and i'm a big fan of taylor swift it's amazing how she can reach audiences of different ages with her talent, she's amazing my dream is to go to her show
She's no Shakespeare, but she does a competent job hitting people's emotional keys. As you mature, you'll find more complex lyrics and it won't be all about love and breakup and heartache - which is pretty much her schtick. Lyrically, John Mayer, Todd Rundgren, Sting & Pink make me happiest. Enjoy this while you grow up, Swifties, it goes too fast.
Your voice is much softer than before. It’s interesting that listening the same song but at different times, it makes me realize how much you have changed in your voice and the way you sing. Everything is amazing, love you Taylor.
Omg true. In her older version you can hear that she was hurt, frustrated, angry sad and now she seems more matured like she has grown up so much she can sing this song with such expertise and ease. This shows and says a lot about her character development and I am glad that she is in a healthy and happy place now. I still miss the raw feelings, though.
She’s not doing the “country twang” anymore. Her voice is more natural and really, really balanced. She has learned how to really use her voice and not strain.

listening to taylor’s version is almost like listening to her songs all over again for the first time.
I don't know exactly why I'm feeling emotional. This version just gives me both nostalgic and happy feelings. Maybe because I grew up listening to her songs that it holds a lot of memories. Maybe it's because her songs takes me back to the time that passed. Her songs has been there with through all the emotions I felt from when I was a little girl until now. And I thank Taylor for all of that. ㅠㅠ
@Jack Wrath you should just go away because it's not boring. You think it's boring because u don't know all the details she's used and the hidden story behind her lyrics.
@Jack Wrath Boring? I'm a musician.. Rock guitarist been playing 35 years and I can shred a guitar. Taylor's song writing is superb.. her sense of melody is beautiful. Sure, she works within the "classic" song structure format, but then so did the Beatles, Queen, Led Zep, Elton John, M jackson.. etc. etc. She's not Dream Theatre, and she doesn't want to be! If you want to call Verse/ Chorus/Verse/Chorus/Bridge/Solo/Chorus/Chorus "boring" then be prepared to throw that accusation at 90% of the most famous acts in music history 😄
Listening to Taylor re-record her old songs feels so nostalgic, since we grew up listening to her songs and here we are again listening to it as adults, it just makes you think of the old days when life was so much easier and less complicated.
“Red is about to be mine again, but it has always been ours” my soul left my body. I’m so proud of you queen. You will always have our support. Thank you for this♥️♥️♥️♥️
Taylor said "loving him was red", and after so many years her perception of love changed. she now believes love is golden. Listen to her "Daylight" in the Lover Album! My most favorite piece in that album!
I was 12 when the original came out...I'm 21 now and hearing this makes me cry. The nostalgia is there and RED Album was literally there throughout my teenage years, I listened to it when I was experiencing first love and hearing this again after 10 years made me reminisce those days
I'm currently experiencing that right now. I'm just really glad that after all those years, I'm still happily inlove with that same man from 10 years ago.
they say there's nothing like hearing a song for the first time, but Taylor made it possible, and it's an even better experience the first-second time.
It feels like the original Red came out just yesterday, but Taylor's version drops and suddenly you come to the realisation that it's been almost 10 years and you've grown up and life's so different now 😢 Fresh wave of hard-hitting nostalgia incoming ✨
She made this songs different not the same as the old one, not as she made fearless, we can get the sense of mature taylor, this new taylor, and after everything we've been trough to hear the new taylor with the old is so sentimental and beatiful❤
My life without Taylor Swift is blue like I'd never known. Without her songs, it's dark gray all alone. Forgetting her is like trying to know somebody you've never met. Loving her is burning red! ❤️❤️❤️
Today is the day I fully understand what Taylor's "Red" song really meant. I used to dance with this song thinking it's just for dance. I'd never thought it would be this deep. That part when she said "Remembering him comes in flashbacks and echoes. Tell myself it's time now, gotta let go. But moving on from him is impossible when I still see it all in my head... burning red" that pierced my heart. That used to be me when I was moving on from the person I loved the most. You're truly a brilliant artist Taylor. Thank you for existing.
To be honest until today I didn't understand the meaning of the song (especially English it's not my first language), but this is my one of my favorite song in the album
@@n0ne121 the song's meaning can be summed up into this: She's using these metaphors (as, like, association to colors) to describe her past relationship (and it's abrupt end) with this person. The color red for her back then meant that love is supposed to be chaotic and overly passionate, something that she'll always never want to miss out on despite how blinding it may be to her. After their fall out, she still can't forget him (and doesn't want to) due to that intense feeling of being with this other person despite the short amount of time they spent together. These themes are evident in most of the songs from the album like State of Grace, Treacherous, I Knew You Were Trouble, etc.
Being a new edition to the fandom i feel so special coz like i am lucky enough to experience all the excitement for the album release and all. I get a chance again. Btw this is my first time listening to RED and I WAITED FOR THE TAYLOR'S VERSION.
I’ve listened to this when I was younger and I then listened to it again a few weeks ago and I finally understood the lyrics and tbh I started crying. Cause this sounds like a narcissist you don’t truly know who they are until u live with them for a long time.
Taylor swift- A naive girl Fearless- The country girl Speak now - The dreamer Red - A heartbroken woman 1989- The free woman reputation- A strong woman Lover- The happy woman Folklore- The author Evermore- The storyteller Midnights- A mastermind at work No matter what era she is in, She's still a queen
Red is the story of a girl who thought she found all she was dreaming about in speak now (where all her loving experiences were too childish), and found out she was wrong. Her first real heartbreak brings out not a girl anymore, yet a woman, that learning to live more for herself. Which kinda gives the wrong idea out there, in REP she decides to satirize it. Truth is she was just having fun and getting to know herself, thats when she met true love. And now she can write about whatever ❤️.
Taylor Swift still keeping the interview Red Album interview Rachel Morton , Today Show , Katie . Taylor Swift was never be ask about role model Taylor Swift rumors wish the reading part . Taylor Swift crazy dating rumors information , moving to the house to the men that she likes . Taylor Swift her team force her stop dating .
As a person who has listened to Taylor practically my whole life, I can really say that not only have her vocals improved so much, but the way she executes that voice is through her old, catchy gems like this is really nostalgic. You can see how far she's come since Red!!! Love u Taylor ❤❤❤
I remember driving through the hills as a teenager after my first breakup listening to this song. I used to relate it so much with my relationship, and I remember realising that loving someone shouldn't feel 'red' all the time. It was one of the first times I felt okay after breaking up that year. Hearing this now so many years later brings back so much of life that I've lived and almost forgotten about. Especially after having heard Daylight because I swear they're sister songs somehow.
“Touching him was like realizing all you ever wanted was right there in front of you” perfectly depicts our feelings when we're madly in love with someone, so it's really easy for someone to relate to it.
It is obvious, but I want to point it out. This version is like the mature Taylor, that it's finally happy with her new relationship, looking back at s love. The original is just so much more intense, because back then there where a lot of emotions going in Taylors heart. The last one truly felt red, it was angry and passionate, this is more lade back, and I love it
I used to sing this in high school with my best friend, now I graduated from Med school and still get nostalgia every time I listen to it ❤❤ long live Taylor and all your iconic songs ❤❤
My favourite part of this version is she gave it the original countryish feel she wanted in the first place but Scott told her that it wasn’t a country song so she couldn’t…and that’s what I love about these rerecordings ❤️❤️
@Unfortunately Toxic there's more guitars and what sounds like a banjo too. The first one was more electro pop. She also does some more vocal runs/riffs that have a country feel but mostly it's because it sounds like it's got more actual instruments than a heavily produced track with lots of effects. I'm pretty sure that electric guitar solo wasn't in the original? But I'm not 100% on that. The original was more pop/electro pop/dance and this is more pop rock/country pop. To me anyway
@@melodyvalentine8779 actually, the original one sounds more country (banjo throughout the song, even plays with the solo which I will be missing now that we have to listen to the tv version. The new version sounds more live, more pop/rock but i guess they removed the banjo on the chorus and bridge to maintain clarity of the instruments. The original almost feels like the instruments are blending with one another. Maybe the electropop you are saying was the demo version which is available on the red deluxe of 2012 (definitely pop production full of vocal effects)
This song is such a spot on description of how it is to feel in a relationship!!! And I really feel connected to Taylor through this song and it feels like Taylor is actually speaking to me!!! This is just another great example of how powerful Taylor’s songwriting is!!!
Red: "Loving him was red" Daylight: "I once believed love would be burning red, but it's golden" It's so amazing how her songwriting has evolved through the years as well as her perception of love's color. Joe is the golden definition of love.✨
after hearing this i feel so motivated. it has changed my whole life, now i’m a successfull person. i won 10 olympic gold medals, 6 Oscars, 54 grammys, 543 daesangs, 7 padma shrees. next year i'm planning to buy the moon. it all happened because of you. tysm.

@Jack Wrath shut up
@Jack Wrath no one's gonna buy your clickbait lol
🤘🏻😌
I’ve listened to this when I was younger and I then listened to it again a few weeks ago and I finally understood the lyrics and tbh I started crying. Cause this sounds like a narcissist you don’t truly know who they are until u live with them for a long time.
Taylor swift- A naive girl
Fearless- The country girl
Speak now - The dreamer
Red - A heartbroken woman
1989- The free woman
reputation- A strong woman
Lover- The happy woman
Folklore- The author
Evermore- The storyteller
Midnights- A mastermind at work
No matter what era she is in, She's still a queen
As a person who has listened to Taylor practically my whole life, I can really say that not only have her vocals improved so much, but the way she executes that voice is through her old, catchy gems like this is really nostalgic. You can see how far she's come since Red!!! Love u Taylor ❤❤❤

lets admit it: we all lived for this moment...
im honestly speechless on how beautiful this version is
Exactly 💖😩
The last one truly felt red, it was angry and passionate, this is more lade back, and I love it
I agree very much with this. ❤️ You picked all the right words.
Agree. The original definitely had more impact listening to it but at least now she owns these songs. ☺️😍
This feels so nostalgic, Taylor is my childhood and she feels like home. 😭
I can't believe my tears ricochet while listening to this song.
Popular fact: SWIFTIES are the luckiest fandom.
Omg. My swiftie heart is happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time. 😅😭💔🤎
THE GOOSEBUMPS OMG ITS LIKE THE FIRST TIME HEARING THIS MASTERPIECE ALL OVER AGAINNNN
This song is such a spot on description of how it is to feel in a relationship!!! And I really feel connected to Taylor through this song and it feels like Taylor is actually speaking to me!!! This is just another great example of how powerful Taylor’s songwriting is!!!
Red: "Loving him was red"
Daylight: "I once believed love would be burning red, but it's golden"
It's so amazing how her songwriting has evolved through the years as well as her perception of love's color. Joe is the golden definition of love.✨
YESS 😭😭😭😭😭😭

This feels like a déjà vu, just a lot better, sweeter and melodious!
Taylor's growth through her lyrics:
RED: Loving him is Red... burning red.
Daylight: I thought love would be burning red, but it's golden.
Isn't this just lovely?
