I'm not sure how to inbox you. I have a really killer server, spent god knows how much money on a map, plugins, etc and I need to promote it. What can I do?
The wire tool rework is a god-send for people using Windmills and makes upgrading circuits down the line so much easier, thank you, Facepunch, for implementing this!
Now if they also let me change the colour of existing wires, I'll be happy!
Mouse over the connection of an existing wire and tap R to recolor it to your current selected colour.
You could recolor the existing wires for few months now lol, also the pipes
Hold "R" (default) to open the menu to change wire and pipe colors.

I get your point, but rust has added free dlc for years, every month. They have earned the cash for these lil rp features
@@adamboyd8316exactly.... and he should look at other games in the genre and realize how good he's got it over here.... like, I've been a DayZ player since DayZ Mod on Arma 2, went along and purchased DayZ SA day one (just like I bought Rust), and Bohemia and the DayZ devs only gave us in DayZ SA, one.... one individual DLC.... and it was a map they created for Arma 3 (which I also own) and so the same map was available on both A3 and DayZ SA.... DayZ got the map and a new bear for a DLC (bear everyone got without DLC), so just the map for $20.... and over on A3, we got the map, new clothing, new weapons, new vehicles, new missions, and new assets.... for $20.... and if you were a BI diehard like myself, you were still "forced" to buy them both, meaning even if you bought one, you wouldn't get the same map for free on the other BI title... you got a discount, which I guess is better than nothing, but look at the disparity of content between the two games.... and then most importantly in this context.... look at the disparity of content you guys playing Rust receive compared to DayZ SA.... you guys get monthly updates with awesome new content AND optional DLC constantly....we get a "content" update, and it's literally nothing compared to you guys (maybe 2 new items max, not how you guys get new content) like twice a year, we get 4-5 updates a year, and only 2-3 of those include anything new, otherwise, it's bug fixing....so he should be thrilled he's getting all this awesome stuff compared to what DayZ gets 🙄😅

Well when there isn’t anything new going on why talk about rust
The wanted pics are so cool, but I wish they’d paired it with some kind of shop mechanism so bounty hunting becomes a functional part of the economy.
Technically, you can create this by setting up a 'Bounty Shop' yourself. When you kill a bounty, you use the skinning knife to gather their head and sell it back to the bounty shop. But this will all have to be done manually / through shop windows. It would be cool if FP would add a feature where you could put these posters up in a vending machine so people could collect their bounty rewards that was.
Might encourage players to play more honorably too, you probably won’t get a bounty for killing a guy at rig, but if you roof camp alot or are door camping alot you might get a bounty or two on your head.
It could be a way for trampled solo farmers to buy some payback on their bully.

to be fair this type of monetization is very modern, and the devs keeps steadily rolling out content for the game. New content is always good, but I'm not a fan of this roleplay DLC or the building skins. Paywalling building skins is really lame. They don't get enough flak for this. I don't mind the premium dlc characters that's cool, but isn't the weapon rack basically pay to win?

I'm starting to get pretty unhappy with the path rust is going down. Too many paid products, seems every month a new paid DLC is put up, and not at what I consider fair pricing (despite having over $2k off csgo items to sell in my inventory). For example, this week we have this lovely DLC which is super cool, but $25...? seriously? Last week I thought i'd buy a couple of the Halloween items, but they were $8-15 for individual items like skull trophies, yea no thanks. It's becoming too much of a cash grab and it's really disappointing. It would be good to see the DLCs grouped into larger packs for a lesser overall price (e.g a building skin pack for say $20, which has all the building skins). Id rather them make the cash grabbing on purely cosmetic items instead of items which bring life into the game like most of these latest DLC. It's reminding me of how the sims 4 turned out, what once was a great game has become an industry wide joke where the base game is really but a shell of the what the game is actually like if you have all the DLC at a cost of nearly $1000 last I looked. Sad times.
Rust is a live service game, you are getting free updates weekly. I think optional cosmetic DLC priced at 10$ is more than reasonable since much effort is put into it.
The devs have to make money somehow… game has been going strong for almost a decade

It was the most unnecessary update I've ever seen, it's too bad that things that shouldn't be in the game are coming instead of things that should be.
So many missed opportunities whenever they release a DLC… just like the sound pack they took out the feature to stream your own music, now they remove cool features like two way mirrors and different style windows… yet they still make it P2W somehow. LAME

It has gotten the point where I no longer say "I can't wait to see what they're going to add" and instead I say "I wonder what they're going to try and sell us now..."

The amount of DLC is getting stupid. This is Paradox level of DLC and they are friggn expensive.
pay to win or not i bought this game 4.5k hours ago and cannot expect new content for a price i paid years ago.
just sucks if your new to the game or dont know about this. Now you have to buy multiple skins to be equal to others. and lets not talk about greenout that makes you invisible in greenland and is way to expensive right now.

I don't get this DLC. Single weapon racks should be part of the Weapons Rack DLC. I can see the advantage of the barrels and people using the trophies but it seems mostly junk. Someone's pet project get out of control?

hey flak how about strap for holding people in truck bed for group raiding. do you know what a fulcrum hammer is. imagine a poor country and you have jackhammer but it is broke. how do you use it. you install a pivot and a floppy armature. it will then work slowly. but be faster and more powerful than a pickaxe. Also you forgot you can put item on vehicles.
I'm confused, the above/below ground transfer tunnels have been in Rust for a while now? Why is this being reported on as if it's new? I literally used them months ago.

not sure how i feel about the railroad track planter...irl railroad track weighs 100 pounds per foot ...looks like the planters are 4 feet by 4 feet and 2 rails high

They should add a musket to rust. It would be a teir 1 ranged weapon and maybe they could add a bayonet attachment so it would double as a spear
