Excellent video again! I love seeing someone else who hates messy wiring. Very nice work sir.
Thank you! Got to keep it clean! thanks for watching.
Bought the hetset right after watching this. Excellent video from someone who knows what he’s talking about. The cherry on top was the test at the end. Very, very helpful.
Thanks for watching!!
Best emg solderless tutorial, thank you man!
Thank you hope it was helpful !
So I just was able to realize my dream... it was to rebuild/upgrade a guitar. I was able to do all the upgrades except I couldnt find a wiring diagram for the same exact switch u had in this video (it's what I have but just couldnt find research on it)
Thanks to your video I was able to know what contacts to solder and now have a guitar with a heck of alot more life and sass!
So glad it was a help to you Douglas! thanks for watching!
Thanks a lot! Nice and helpfull
RX Thank you so much for this video! I have watched many on the subject and none were as clear and thorough as this. I have a guitar repair company and I am struggling with all things electric. I learned a ton from you.
Thank you for taking the time to create this tutorial. I am going t be setting this exact setup in my Guitar. Very helpful, thank you.
Glad it was helpful thanks for watching!!

Thank you so much for this video gonna use this for help when i order these pickups the first of the month
Glad to help! Thanks for watching and if you can share my channel!!
I didn't need to solder anything. I just left the wires on the switch. They go into the bus. It says it on the instructions.
Dean is awesome
Good video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
If You don't want solder anything, better buy 3-way selection switch..😊EMG then just connect wires with quick connectors and is done.
How can i do the back plate on magnets?
Aprox. How much time the battery Lives? Even if you unplugg the cable?
Is there any way you can do this without a saw during iron
Do you follow the same instructions for a three way toggle switch on a Les Paul?
It's a little different the instruction sheet has the LP switch directions. You can also find the diagram on line if you don't have the sheet.
not sure if this is a late comment but if i had a three pickup guitar should i just desolder the middle pickup and use the wires for the neck and bridge for the battery buss?
I finally purchased a couple EMG pickups an plan to follow your video the best I can. They haven't arrived, but I am noticing that the distance between the jack and the cavity with the pots and battery is farther than the measurements EMG states that their cables are (I have a Jackson King V, so the jack is on the opposite side of the guitar). Do you typically add an extension in this case? Thanks again!
