You know what? I have an idea; what if you made a computer (or bought and refurbished) from every time period from the year 2001, like a old pentium 3 computer from the xp days, this one running vista, the other alienware with windows 7, and then you just need a computer from 2013 and 2015 (maybe a am3+ cpu and a gtx 780ti could be cool!) and of course a dell optiplex 5040 mt or something similar and making it into the computer of your dreams in 2015 with windows 10 and that gtx 980ti you had from that time period! could be cool!

I am looking for some more of these pre-dell Alienware's to do a few more videos on, but they are really tough to find. Especially the 90s ones before this model, not even seen one for sale anywhere. The only trouble with these full tower computers is they are absolutely massive and really heavy & I just don't have the space for too many of them. That's actually why I've been doing the videos on the graphics cards instead, just simply because I can buy 50 of those and put them in one small little box. I've got so many ideas though, it's a case of having the time to get round to them.

I got one of these Alienware Area 51 cases off of ebay myself for pretty cheap. All internals were not original so I decided to do a thing, I cleaned it and rebuilt it with my AM5 platform and an RTX 3090 Ti FE. I did cut out some areas in the front of the chassis to fit a pair of 140mm fans and so far it is working great. I love this huge ugly case :D

But the important question is.. What color is it!?

@@DumpzterfireGaming oh it's just a black one. There were others like a darth vader special edition one, an acid green, and a blue one but way beyond my budget 😆

@OcelotTheFurious I think there is a predator one, chances of finding one of those for sale these days though is probably zero. I'm trying to find one of the green 90s ones, but never seen one of those for sale anywhere either

@@DumpzterfireGaming the one I got and rebuilt is an area 51 Predator 1. And I think I also saw a while back on ebay one of those massive white gen 1 Alienware Area 51s towers on ebay. Can't find it anymore though, but it was a big rectangular white tower

@@OcelotTheFurious Yeah that's the kind of thing I'm looking for, I will just have to keep searching ebay until one shows up

Yo! Appreciate you replying to my tweet. I know it was a super simple fix but it absolutely worked. Just had to reseat the RAM and boom! Subbed to the channel :) (Side note I just revived my old Alienware X51 R2, gonna turn that into an emulation machine soon!)

No worries mate, I was thinking it couldn't be much wrong with it. It's always a bit stressful when you spend ages on building a pc though and then it doesn't boot for some unknown reason. I'm looking for a 90s alienware to make a video on, can't find one anywhere though

@@DumpzterfireGaming Yeah...those are SUPER rare these days I feel. Very cool machines! I hope you're able to find one. That would be an awesome video!
