Been building PC's since like 13 years old (and most definitely not a master at building them etc. cause I have yet to build a water cooled PC (too lazy for that)); $500 for the 4060ti is not a rip off (in my honest opinion). That is pretty much normal base price if you look it up anywhere online and/or looking through pcpartpicker. Your average price about $450 not including taxes i.e why its $500. I got my 4070ti for probably about $750 to $800ish and thats also pretty much the base price; so I dont really see why the complaint. Also feel that "lazy cable management" part. She is lucky youre such a cool dad for her and I think it was a nice cat inspired computer build. Really liked the cat GPU to be honest :) Edit: I guess seeing this a few minutes later that the GPU being 8GB instead of 16GB could technically be considered a "rip off" or not worth it yeah. Depending on how you; I or anybody else sees it. We all have opinions and such and there is also the facts but imma just say this: build and buy whatever you want or like! Its your build; friends build or anyone elses build if building for others. Make it unique to your taste or even their taste :)
wow your a really amazing dad, im building a pc right now as a teenager and my dad wants nothing to do with it, but besides that we need more nerd dads!

Got this radomly recomendet and i must say it's a really cool Video. Just normal Human interaction, nothing forced for RUclips. Also my first time seeing a cat gpu. That's way cooler than the Anime ones
Stutter with the previous config could probably have been alleviated somewhat by having dual channel ram. Also, unless I missed it in the video, enable XMP in the bios for the ram. Great video!
So it previously had dual 4gb 2666 memory. Kinda slow stuff tbh, but at the same time she was only running the 1650S. I believe the stuttering was coming from a bad driver tbh. The art game just was super vram limited, was jumping up to 6.5gb on the 4060Ti at 1080P
It's funny, your kid reminds me of my daughter when she was 11 and 12. I guess it's just the age group and the trends/ popular ideas amongst a set age group. Even the vernacular is some more. It's funny
Oh really? Yeah I find myself at times trying to imitate her to connect with her, but then one day I realized she likes the way people who are older speak vs kids around her. I do notice she picks up on trends like rolblox and all that kind of stuff. She hates stuff like skibiti toilet and all the really silly stuff though, which honestly I am happy about (even though as a child I'd probably be crying laughing over it 😅)
@@techwandoUS yeah my daughter is 21 now as of a couple days ago as a matter of fact. Cherishing moments when they're young, cuz they really do go too fast
2:40 it could be your mouse idk if it is 1k, 4k, or 8k polling, but if it is some games are not optimized for that many packets being pushed to them so they stutter when you swipe quickly
The stutters in the old config were definitely due to the low measely 8 GB RAM combined with the GTX 1650S only having 4 GB VRAM Getting an 8 GB VRAM GPU like the 4060 Ti and 32 GB RAM helped eliminate the stutters
I think part of her performance issues with games like hogwarts legacy and that painting game was definitely the 8 gigs of ram. Having more ram would probably alleviate some of the stuttering she was running into. Still a super sick upgrade, especially for a kid her age lol
where is the airflow for those front fans? 😂 great video man, that gpu is adorable. Curious how the temps would look after an hour or two of gaming in this case
Thank you! So they cut a vent along the backside of the case. Similar to the older NZXT H110 series. The other day she beat Hogwarts, the highest temp of the GPU was 66c with the room temp set to 70F. Not too bad for a poorly ventilated case design.
Yeston really has cornered the market on cute GPU designs. I've loved this design since they first used it on the RX 580, which was also grossly expensive. The premium that importers are able to charge and people will still pay it is kinda wild. I really wish more manufacturers would try some cool and interesting designs like this on their GPUs. Just so we can have some price competition 😂
Totally agree, I could see many brands doing at least a line of creative cards or something different just to draw people in. I don't think it should ever really be super theme specific like a video game specifically because that's as bad as like a band tattoo haha... But color wise why not get fun and do some pink blues all that kind of stuff. Heck vaporwave works with all of that and people still run vaporwave all the time. I give credit to companies like Zotac with spiderman, Asus with their Gundam and Eva, but I think it should just be simple color schemes. Appreciate the great comment!

Really liked the cat GPU to be honest :)
Edit: I guess seeing this a few minutes later that the GPU being 8GB instead of 16GB could technically be considered a "rip off" or not worth it yeah. Depending on how you; I or anybody else sees it. We all have opinions and such and there is also the facts but imma just say this: build and buy whatever you want or like! Its your build; friends build or anyone elses build if building for others. Make it unique to your taste or even their taste :)
Yo mate, nice vid. Also i just noticed that i have the same pc case, but in black color :D
Thanks man, and yeah it's a solid case. I asked if she wanted to change it and she said no.
Awesome PC and a very lucky little girl.
Thank you!
damn you are such a cool dad
hope you got at least a hug from her
Everyday, she's a good kid.
When I have kids… this is what I would do 😂😊❤ love this
there are things in this world that isn't necessary but that gpu is something i want...
what an awesome father! This is how imma be when I have kids
Thank you 🙏
wow your a really amazing dad, im building a pc right now as a teenager and my dad wants nothing to do with it, but besides that we need more nerd dads!
Does your dad game at all?
@@techwandoUS just the old call of duty’s that he can play on the Xbox and some of my vr games😅
@@ZintexVR gotta show him how much better the PC experience is, maybe he will fall into it.
@@techwandoUS maybe, hes just hesitant to anything
Omg having a dad like this is like a paradise :)) When I want to check something in my PC, my father is like rage mode activated because I might break something ( It's not true at all ik how to build a pc ) Oh well :) Great video
Thank you! I am sorry to hear about your experiences. Maybe try and talk to him about it? Express that you'd like to learn more about PCs...
Thank you again for the comment!
@@techwandoUS I tried and it's still the same thing...The only time I will be free of ''scenes'' it will be when I'm going to be by myself :) Thank you tho
What an awesome dad
Got this radomly recomendet and i must say it's a really cool Video. Just normal Human interaction, nothing forced for RUclips. Also my first time seeing a cat gpu. That's way cooler than the Anime ones
That's pretty cool they recommended it. Appreciate the comment also!
Please don't tell me she turns off the pc just by pressing the power button of the case 🙏
Not everyday haha
The price of that card is CATastrophic, but at least your kid is Feline pretty good about her upgrades!
Haha well said
Great viedo!!! I enjoyed it very much!!
Thank you!
@@techwandoUS get her 16 gb of ram bro 8 gb is torture.
@@Skrillful Yeston only makes an 8GB
@@techwandoUS RAM not VRAM
@@Skrillful there's a whole section of the video where she's installing 32gb of RAM.
You probably already know this but capping the framerate would definitely help with the noise and thermals.
We came long way in advances of technology.
Aww. You are a good dad, dude.
Thank you 🙏

her specs were really making that game load for 5 minutes ?
that is crazy
2:40 it could be your mouse idk if it is 1k, 4k, or 8k polling, but if it is some games are not optimized for that many packets being pushed to them so they stutter when you swipe quickly
Awesome dad, in future wanna be like this to 👊💪
For the art game stuttery: reduce the mouse hz to 500 or below. It might stutter with 1000hz mouse polling rate
The stutters in the old config were definitely due to the low measely 8 GB RAM combined with the GTX 1650S only having 4 GB VRAM
Getting an 8 GB VRAM GPU like the 4060 Ti and 32 GB RAM helped eliminate the stutters
I can't even load Hogwarts let alone any of those games she was playing sadly. but really nice of u to upgrade her pc.
It seems like a bit of a tough one to run, what are your specs?
Wish my Dad was as tech savvy as you lol, I had to learn all these stuff by myself 😂
I think part of her performance issues with games like hogwarts legacy and that painting game was definitely the 8 gigs of ram. Having more ram would probably alleviate some of the stuttering she was running into. Still a super sick upgrade, especially for a kid her age lol
Oh yeah for sure, I actually thought she had 16gb all this time, but apparently I was wrong. The 32gb kit should hold up nice 👍
She deserved a new upgrade for sure haha
where is the airflow for those front fans? 😂 great video man, that gpu is adorable. Curious how the temps would look after an hour or two of gaming in this case
Thank you!
So they cut a vent along the backside of the case. Similar to the older NZXT H110 series. The other day she beat Hogwarts, the highest temp of the GPU was 66c with the room temp set to 70F. Not too bad for a poorly ventilated case design.
@@techwandoUS wow! That's actually impressive for the case design! I bet she's loving the new build :)
@@Jessespresso yeah she's been very happy. Lots of new games she can max out now haha
This is actually sick
6:36 LMAO W SOUND EDIT
What a cool dad!
Thanks man 🤙
this was wholesome
Nice video
