- Duane's decision to leave the Electra crew unsupervised while he spends time at home jeopardizes the completion of a major contract, and could cost him his job. Young DC-3 co-pilot Graeme sees his chance to move up to a bigger plane disappear when he falls out of favour with Joe.
I was saddened the documentary stopped. It was done very accurately and I respect that attention to detail. It was a great program, and the family has my highest respect.
That Duane lasted barely 11 months then no more Duane.

The same guy that says he doesn't need to be there, he can be off with his family. Then when things don't go as he intended he makes it everyone elses fault. Dude if you would have been there where you should have been you could have kept thing going on your schedule.The guy has a tight schedule and doesn't get the info to everyone. Then he takes some time off and its all everyone elses fault because his schedule is blown. REALLY
And what’s crazy is he almost seems to INTENTIONALLY leave when it’s most important. He says “they don’t need a babysitter”. That’s literally what a managers job is… so if they don’t need one he’s saying he isn’t needed. I’m guessing he won’t be around long. He should just be put on some other position where he only gets the contracts and doesn’t manage them cause he’s a terrible ass manager. 😅
Can’t believe he isn’t embarrassed to be filmed sitting in his pjs texting orders from his living room. While working for a company where people work harder all day than almost anywhere in the world. You lead by example.

Joe knows nothing about leadership either. I love the show but it’s amateur hour 24/7. Probably the worst part of the industry is guys like Joe
Hicks should have been a politician, he points his finger at everyone but who should be responsible, him. He's a punk!!! A manager who says it is not my responsibility that's what children reply.
I think Joe is one of the last of a dying breed. He has a lot of my old Man's ideas about everything just so they work, damn the incidentals. My brother and I were well prepared for anything life could throw at us thanks to My Father. I believe Joe is made of the same stuff. Just do it, cry later...
Joe get rid of Duane immediately for the safety of your pilots. He is pushing to much and gives everyone else the faults of his own mistakes. He is comprising the safety and a real danger. He is not an aviator and as pilot I would NEVER fly with a manager as that jerk.
You do know this show stopped being produced in 2014, right? Duane left after season 3 ended though so I guess you got your wish lol

Duane is the problem child looking for anything to boost his fragile ego.
If your in charge of job , be there ! Owners are talked down by employees but have their asses on the line everyday if it fails. That’s the difference , employees have nothing in the game so don’t give a damn. That’s why owners are tough at times to avoid failure
So why didn't he call tower and say the pump on the fuel truck is not working, how about the next guy?

@@josephjackson7269 It's a Canadian fast food place - its probably like Starbucks and Maccas combined although they sell food that is halfway edible and drinkable coffee unlike Maccas.
