Faux Stained Glass on Muslin - Part 2 - Scenic Art

  • This video introduces using muslin to make faux stained glass. Muslin is a good option depending on the design and budget of your show. This is Part 2, which covers using glues, acrylic mediums, and sealers. Part 1 shows paint thinned with water.
    I used SuperSats from Rosco, because it stays vibrant even when applied translucently. I used Clear Acrylic Gloss, CrystalGel, and Flexbond glue. To make the lead, I mixed equal parts of elastomeric, CrystalGel, and black paint.
