I'm a retired American Art Teacher living in Australia who specialized with airbrush equipment (I did some state side classes and wrote some articles for Paasche airbrush company in the 70's) I learned airbrush techniques in the 60's to add glazes to my water color works from a college art teacher who did work for GM design. I also did an apprenticeship as a "Bump and Paint" person, starting in High School... My point is I know a ton about spray equipment...I've done 42 Foot tall murals, down to house walls and doors....I taught workshops for back ground artist, set designers and clothing techniques ( by the way I own an Italian made brush called a "Flogger" at $78)...great beginners post, also loved your concrete video...excellent! Thanks for posting.

"everything in theatre needs a little spatter"= my life philosophy. Great video. Beautiful end product and you've actually persuaded me to do the project myself since I've never done one.

I’m learning to paint (not professionally) and this was so helpful to watch you do. Thank you!

Thank you so much! I have been recommending your videos to new scenics, as well as directing them to the scenics guild. Its so frustrating how few resources there are for people entering the industry. This is a great exercise

Thank you so much! A lack of resources was exactly the reason I started this channel. Let me know if you have anything you'd like to see!

Hi! Can you please suggest a starting point for references for renderings to give to students?

Hi! Like good resources to find references? I personally really like Unsplash, it's a website that has a lot of great photos that you can search, and they are all free to use with no copyright issues. You can search for specific types of landscapes if you are looking to do a no-brush landscape, and just try to find ones that have the opportunity for interesting textures and tools, without being overly detailed and complicated.
