- In this video I took a Wii U Pro controller and added the Xbox One Elite thumb sticks and directional pad to it. If you would like to try this mod at home you can find the parts I used on eBay just search for the Xbox One Elite parts. Happy Modding!!!

Hi i have 3 pro controllers they all have narrow metal rods as thumbsstick and not in plastic, did you use spacers?
You should do the gamecube elite and the wii classic pro elite
When you did the game pad, did the dad require the same cutting/shaving to fit also?

Damn.. There's no fooling you with a fake controller.. But seriously.. My real one makes noise when you shake it. Some do and some don't regardless. The main thing is the lack of the Wii U logo on the front and Nintendo logo on the back.

I tried making a joy on elite for minted but the magnet joystick baseses are to large
I had a fake wii classic controller. It also didn't had the logo, triforce screws, the zl zr buttons was so loud my mom could hear the clicks even from walmart, the d pad was way to flat and hard to press, the joysticks would at the time become loose. But I'll give then cred for the face buttons. It's the best face buttons I have ever pressed, they are like the face buttons on the GameSir G3s, but silent. And the GameSir G3s has some amazing crispy face buttons.

Wii U Pro controller already has the best D-pad I've used. Its heavy enough to play hardcore games like Tekken and Pokken, and light enough to not feel flimsy and cheap like on 3ds. Xbox has notoriously bad D-pads
So like, how has the controller worked out for you? I've heard switching to the Xbox Elite D-Pad makes the experience worse.

there is a product called the cronusMax that allows you to put your ps4 controllers on xbox one and vice versa, Im not sure if it would work with the wii u controller.

So what is there so 'Elite' about this type of controller? White/black color pattern and certain stick/d-pad designs?
M'go Face the sticks and d-pad are the same as the one on the xbox one elite controller

So other than the WiiU logo in the middle, there isn't any difference between the official Nintendo controllers and clones?? (oh other than battery which you transfered)
PioneerT90 I bought some and my first one died a few weeks after and both had grindy sticks when moving them around. and squeeked so when getting a fake you really take a risk. if you get a good off brand controller for a really cheap price than I say go for it but like right now Pro controllers are on roll back at best buy and target for 10$ less
Edit: Oh and the D-pads never worked correctly. they did whatever the hell they wanted and the controller couldn't be opened to replace the parts parts without breaking the controller to boot

Tried this out & no matter what I did the keypad wouldn't sit right & wouldn't function properly. I cut it exactly how you did but no dice. Any suggestions? I do have 2 more sets of the Elite parts & I would like to figure this out before attempting this on my gamepad. Love your channel keep up the good work!
Erick Onassis I’ve seen eBay ads for the parts & some are cut/machined for the “Switch, Xbone, or PS4.” Not kidding. Look into this. This is something that’s keeping me from getting started.

I got the same ps3 controller charger but I got mine for 75 cents because GameStop ment to put the for 27 50 but the put it 75 cents

Dumb question maybe, do xBone Elite analog caps and the D-pad fit on a 360 controller, or no? Would you say it's a worthy upgrade? I'm sort of upgrading my wired 360 controller and looking for ways to spice it up, and figured that was at least one idea... :P

lucky, when I got 2 Wii u pro controllers, they were so loud, the buttons rattled and it was hard to press, and it was official...

Sorry for the delay on the reply. This mod worked well for me I like it a lot, I have much better grip on the thumb pads.
