You have a great looking truck and we appreciate you trying to do a video to help everyone. I just wish you had better lighting and the camera was positioned differently so we could see everything. Best of luck and again thanks for trying.
Worth noting the silver spring is stiffer. And i also noticed with vitavon toe end i needed to put shims inbetween, because when you tighten the screw it would bind the linkage.
I use hot racing products also. I recommend getting some better light over your workspace and editing out the removal or installation each screw. I’d like to see what you try next on your maxx
I changed mine to a standard 1/10 scale servo and another upgrade is the Traxxas Maxx front-toe link for Wide Maxx because the plastic ones bend over time! If you have more questions, feel free to ask! Thanks for watching the video!
Hi I have no problem since I installed itI have the servo no so tight but you can use a little bit of thread lock to avoid getting loose. Hope it helps!
The servo bell crank is supposed to fit the stock servos and standard servos. Make sure that you use stock servo with the stock servo link and don’t exchange with a standard one. Hope it help!
I found the tension screw needed some loctite because it kept backing off on me and eventually the truck wouldn't turn at all because the bellcrank was so loose.
Thumbs up from the Hot Racing help desk! I'm always seeking good instructional vids for my customers. Feel free to send me links, I may send viewers.

The loctite works when you put a screw into metal or aluminum!
@@josephsrc works with plastic as well
@@Smokey00 the plastic sometimes works without loctite because the metal screws get tight into the plastic
Thanks for the video. How are you liking it?
The upgrade is fantastic and it helps not only with durability and also improves my steering when combined with a better servo! Thanks to you!
@@josephsrc gonna order one. 👍🏻
@@DerekRC Hot Racing always has good quality parts for almost every RC!
So the bell crank w/ servo saver works out the box on a standard servo or did you have to buy a different version other than the maxx one?
