- This year I ran the 36th Marathon des Sables, a week long self sufficient ultra marathon in the Sahara Desert. nThe most amazing experience from start to finish, the location, the people, the sandstorms. I absolutely loved it.

Is it typically always that windy -- or was it unusual?
It can vary, this years race had sandstorms but at night and was calm during the day. Have to prepare for everything! Can you fly with the fuel for your stove or did you purchase it in Morocco?
