I can’t justify a small mortgage payment on something I would take off road and tear up. I am priced out and I make 110k a year and my wife makes 60k. We have 2 kids that we have in travel soccer and competitive dance. Want to have extra money for vacations and what not. I would love one, but it wouldn’t be so bad if the interest rates were not so high.
No thanks! I have been a Toyota customer for decades. I'll continue driving my 2006 4Runner V8 Sport Edition. Toyota has changed, quality control issues, pricing issues, engine with turbo changes, corporate member issues, safety test issues etc. Those are just some of the things that have been made public.
Was considering the 4Runner but my dealer with whom I’ve bought several cars is already telling me they are going to jack them up about 10-15k over the MSRP. I’m getting a little sick of that shit
Todays Toyota is not the Toyota of even a few years ago, they really need to go back to their roots and stop eroding customer loyalty with all these new vehicles that are lesser quality and higher priced.
@@DrivetoProvide Let's compare apples to apples. The tundra is comparable to the sequoia. He was talking about the 4Runner, which is comparable to the tacoma. Toyota offers the same engine layout for both the 4Runner and the tacoma for 2025.
@@kzrmanI don’t think you’ll see as bad of issues from the sequoia or 4Runner because they are built in Japan vs Mexico with the tundra and Tacoma. But they won’t last as long as the previous model engines in all cases

It looks amazing, but I don’t think it will be half as good off road as the last one

I had a v8 4Runner myself, I want another!

I 💯 agree with you
I could do a straight 6, probably turbo deisel
It would be cool if they’d bring that back
No!!!!!
You're completely leaving out the fact that Toyota is offering a hybrid power-plant that has more torque than the current generation V6.
How’s that working out in the tundra?

Nope!
