    Maverick, JFF is to be blamed. From the 1960 dem trot round the globe a look fi farrin players and coach with the objective of qualifying for the next world cup so they can get some money put inna dem pocket. Luckily it worked one time with Simoes in 98 and unno same one tun round a cuss how him wutliss and run him wey by 2000. The entire administration needs to be fired and replaced with competent people who have vision and interest in developing the football. And a full time wi face and accept the reality that Jamaica is not good at football. we have nothing to show, no major championship or world class players since we have been playing in the 1960s.

      @wayneanthony1089 Месяц назад +2

      You make some very interesting and salient points.... especially when you said Jamaica is not good at football!. That's a fact! We produced some good footballers over many decades but careful analysis will show that Jamaica is not a very good football nation! Good football nations have good DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAMS, facilities etc.Some of this is caused by lack of finances, but some of it is as a result of poor FOOTBALL LEADERSHIP... which is understandable, because Jamaica has a general leadership problem at ALL levels.
      The issue of this obsession with foreign coach is not a JFF problem though....it is a cultural problem....the JFF just naturally get caught up in it!

    Mr. Tracey you are an intelligent man but you generalize that the rest of the populous is intelligent. To say the coach took us for idiots is a fair assessment and it's not far from the truth while we have lot's of intelligent Jamaicans the majority aren't that smart hence the reasons we have a reactive set of people. We don't push for the change we complain about and it usually is a 2 day story most of the times. Our very own politicians take the general public for fools and the majority still support them. So we can't blame Hallgrimson we have to just be happy he did us a favour and left withput us paying out his contract by sacking him. He could have jeopardized us by performing worse to encourage the JFF to sack him and pay out the balance of his contract he saved us about 800k USD for the balance of 2 years he had left.

    I share your sentiments, Maverick. However, at the end of the day it’s business. The JAAA lost the coaches loyalty due to their mismanagement.

    There's enough blame to go around. He went to Jamaica for the money and to get his name out there. As soon as he won those first couple of games, he was out of here.

    Further more look at the last three games he coach that dude sits on the bench and did not get up for more than two times...

    Bwoy oh bwoy you in your feelings big time. This man left JA amicably, said he still has a good relationship with people at the JFF and you still come out talking about how he’s disrespectful. Every time someone connected to Jamaica as a whole says does something you don’t like you claim they dissed Jamaica… from Leon to Bunny Shaw.
    Kylian Mbappe signed for Real Madrid. He was talking to Real while he was still under contract to PSG. His contract allowed him to start negotiating with other clubs as of January this year. Kevin de bruyne said she contemplating offers from Saudi and yet he’s under contract to city. Even Lewis Hamilton signed for Ferrari though he is STILL under contract to Mercedes.
    THIS IS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!! Get out of your feelings. Everything isn’t about Jamaica having this pristine image according to your imagination. These are people and people do what’s best for their careers.

    "Loyalty to Jamaica"?? He is not Jamaican, of course he has no Loyalty to Jamaica. Man born and raise in Europe, not Jamaica. Jamaica 🇯🇲 was his employer and he our employee. This is strictly business and transactional, nothing more nothing less. The man find a better job offer and pack his bag 🎒 and go.

    Maverick: I believe that FIFA should have the Republic of Ireland pay the JFF a poaching fee because it is obvious that the coach and the Republic of Ireland were not negotiating in good faith seeing that the JFF was blinded sided in all of this.
