    ACV works well at closing up your cuticles after they have been lifted from the shampoo process and it also works well at removing bacteria from your scalp. But, it is not a replacement for shampoo, it's used after.

      GreenBeauty What about for people with low porosity hair? Would something that lays the cuticle flat after washing (and prior to moisturizing) be beneficial for our hair type? Please share your thoughts...thanks in advance!

    • @GreenBeauty
      @GreenBeauty  7 лет назад +49

      Yes, even the cuticles for low porosity hair rise after using shampoo. So, as a rinse ACV is definitely beneficial for all hair types.

      GreenBeauty great video
      I just recently did an ACV rinse the other day b/c my scalp was itching & I think I may have Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia (C.C.C.A) b/c my crown has been thinning for years and I contributed it to the perms but my mom and great aunts have thinning and bald scalps in the crown area and my scalp use to itch like crazy & I would scratch it before learning about ACV rinse in 2016 and I'm so happy and thankful for its benefits

    Take morning sunshine daily for essential vitamin D. Consume vegetables of different colors. Using paraben and fragrance free shampoo and massaging two times per week with hair oil from litttleextra's cooconion. Imp. to remember that hair growth is influenced by general health as well as circulation and nutrition.

      @@OnDeenObito I don't know what was going on with my scalp but the middle part of my head was very itchy and sore. I tried everything as far as essential oils with no luck. I wanted quick relief so with the ACV I got the organic kind with the mother in it and placed a little in a cup undiluted because again at this point I didn't care I just wanted relief. Used a Doppler to apply it to concentrate it to a certain area and then at the end I just poured the whole cup on my head and messaged it into my scalp. Take note I was in the shower at the time and previously wet my whole head so I guess in a way it's diluted. I allowed it to set on my scalp/hair until I was finished with scrubbing down my body. Well out of everything I tried this provided me the most relief. If you have open sores I'd say take caution or use very very diluted or it will really burn. I didn't have any sores and all itchiness subsided and soreness is going away. Did this all today.

    Hi Green Beauty! Thanks for the educational videos!! I hope you are able to answer my quick question: For the ACV spritz, do you rinse it out or keep it in? Please confirm as I’m a bit confused and I watched the video a couple times but can’t quite figure it out. Thanks!!

    How often should I use the ACV rinse on my high porosity hair? can I use the spritz instead of the ACV rinse? or is it best to ACV every time I shampoo? Keep up the good work! I'm learning something new every time I watch you. And what temp. water do I rinse it out with?

      Commenter Number One So far, I’m finding vinegar to be a good weekly wash. Too drying I think for daily rinsing. However, I think most hair types need at least one sulfate shampoo monthly to really remove dirt and scalp debris. I think the vinegar helps mainly with sweat, odor, and some degree of oiliness.

    If you have low porosity hair, can you add olive(or any oil) to ACV rinse so that it doesn’t close the cuticles? Is there any other way to help dry scalp issues on low porosity hair besides acv rinse?

  • @tekoahcoriel5394

    what about for people with low porosity hair? Would something that lays the cuticle flat after washing (and prior to moisturizing) be beneficial for our hair type? Please share your thoughts...thanks in advance!

    • @iambloopy
      @iambloopy 2 года назад

      Not at all. Protein treatments for low porosity hair are to be done sparingly because that hair type already has tight cuticles that open a little bit.

    Can you explain why it is recommended to rinse our hair with cool water to close our cuticles after washing and conditioning our hair when we then need to do the LOC and our styling products? Doesn't our cuticles need to be open for all of the products we use?

    I get dandruff and usually it starts to show up 2-3 days after washing
    When I tried ACV and honey it came about 5 days later
    I’m going to keep on doing and hopefully I’ll make it the whole 14 days

      I never used to have this problem. But for the last couple of month, this is me!!! Literally, days after washing my hair. I think its dry scalp since it's not risen or anything. It just stays flat as if it's my actual scalp.

    Hello :-) First I want to say thank you so much for your videos and the way you break everything down to easily understand it. I am desperately trying to build a natural hair care and growth plan. My hair is high prosody because I have lightened it several times. My question is how can I simplify figuring out a plan? Your videos are wonderful with a lot of information but after watching so many I begin to become very overwhelmed with trying to figure out a plan of cleaning, rinsing, conditioning, protein treatments and growth. Is there anyway you could or have you already posted a way to establish a natural hair care plan step-by-step? I get lost trying to figure out what I should do first next etc. LOL. Lost at where to start. :0( thank you so much and God bless :-)

    I just made my apple cider mixture with a power of hydrogen of 4 to 4.5. I wash my hair every 2 weeks with shampoo and I want to refresh in between washes. I figured I would wet my hair and then apple the ACV rinse to my scalp, put a plastic cap on for at least 30 minutes and then rinse it out. Afterwards, I would just put in a leave in conditioner and braid my hair back up. What do you think?

    I’d been pinned to your videos since this morning. I’m so happy to have found so many helpful information!! and just subscribed. Thank you, thank you!! Could a diluted ACV (like 1tsp in 16 oz of distilled water) be used as a leave in to refresh my curls between wash days? I live in a hard water area. My hair is low porosity, with about 20% shrinkage and medium density. But it’s so dry and it’s breaking at every touch. I don’t know how to refresh my curls between wash days. I normally leave my hair air dry and leave it natural. I don’t braid, I don’t straighten...
    Thank you for your time and your wonderful videos! Very much appreciated!

    Is it safe to keep the ACV mixtures you gave here on the hair without rinsing them off or are they supposed to be rinsed out?
