There's probably some Friends or City set that has doors exactly like this but I don't pay that much attention to those themes so I'm not certain
Honestly this A-frame cabin set looks better than the official lego A-frame cabin set which is only a small cabin while this one looks better because of the extension on the side.
I like fake Lego, it’s usually cheaper and you can find sets that Lego hasn’t made without have to order a bunch of, sometimes expensive, Lego bricks. Like you said you’ve just got to watch out for the companies that steal peoples MOCs. At this point I’ve bought my fair share of cars, motorcycles and mopeds from non-Lego companies and they’ve all been pretty good.
While the quality of the plastic can differ and isn't always as good, I have no issue with other companies doing their own thing with what we know as LEGO, my issue comes only when they steal official designs and even worse steal fan designs. So if this set really is their own design (albeit it the same rough idea as the LEGO one) then I've no issue with it.
i don’t like buying fake lego, except mega construx call of duty sets, because there close to scale with transformers and the figures are pretty jointed too.
