Guillaume Gaudreault i want one to do you know if he bought it new or used notice it has the zoom Exhaust that gives few HP I BEEN doing my research hopefully I get one used with 600 miles for 2000 guy has more than 2 grand on it but he don’t ride it no more has a supermoto
Motorcycle wave tip: In my area, "two fingers down" is the wave symbolizing to keep safe on having both wheels on the ground. Aka good luck to not crashing!
Had a 3 wheeler (125m) with that horozontal 125cc and had a Honda trail 90 with the 90cc engine. They run forever as long as you change the oil once in a while. Those engines start up great in all weather conditions and sip fuel.
biker wave? i've ridden for decades. firstly; wave safe! I DO NOT recommend flailing your arm all over the place, lose control & balance. To the point; i suggest the low wave, off the end of your left grip. Typically, when covering lotsa miles; it's too much work to lift the arm above your bars. My two cents to you.
I'm getting 2 of them soon 1 for me 1 for the wife, and we're gonna have a lots of fun! I love the Grom, it's so much fun riding them, you can't stop laughing it's so awesome!! :)
Vick Perry the most fun I’ve had on a motorcycle was definitely with the grom. I’m thinking about getting another,, for myself 😂😂 hope you can get yours soon!!
Matthew! What are the coincidences that I am looking to purchase a 2018 Grom next week and also live in the exact area where you’re riding in this video! Good ole’ Loganville and Monroe, GA. Lol do you still have your Grom?
Any wave is better than no wave, unless you are holding on for dear life on the highway, shifting, or something else. But typically it should be a chill, even with, or below the handle bar wave.
Wrany Southard I’ve been doing the peace sign under the handle bars. Unless it’s another grom than it’s both hands up in the air and both feet as far apart as possible
I like how you ended the video peace in your face. Should do that as a signature in all of them, that is if you don't already. Congratulations on the new Grom!
Hulpherz hey! It would be a great first bike! I’m actually making a video on that soon and on the top speed. Your average speed will be about 60MPH but I’ve hit 71 before
You will love it lots. Keep it locked up tight. They ripped my doors open and stole mine this weekend sad face really bummed I loved her so sweet now she is gone
Wave under. But yeah, love this. It means a lot when you can have a laugh at yourself. I have owned the biggest Harleys, and I love taking long road trips. Right now I have a 49cc TaoTao scooter that I'm just delivering flyers with, for a local political office I'm pursuing. It's FUN! It's ridiculous! IT IS WHAT IT IS. I don't pretend to myself that it's a Harley!
godfatherNYC the groms not a big fast “bad” bike and I don’t try to make it seem or look like a big bike 😂 it’s what makes it ridiculous and so fun. I love it!
Trung nguyễn thành where are you from? Look on Craigslist, Facebook market place and Facebook groups in your area!! Or a Honda dealership (or authorized dealer) if you want to buy new!
YEA GREAT BIKE IF YOU ARE THE SIZE OF A YARD GNOME. IT WAS BUILT FOR HEIGHT CHALLENGED JAPANESE PEOPLE. RIDING A VERY SMALL BIKE FOR YOUR HEIGHT CAN BE DANGEROUS
These bikes can reach 60 mph but can the KEEP that speed without problems? I wouldn't go always that quick but in straight country-side road I'd like to run a bit.
I HATE that exhaust racket! I've never in 64-years heard a factory Honda street-machine making all that FUCKING NOISE! (my first bike was a '68 'Super-Cub' that would hit 52-53mph...from a 90cc w/a three-speed...why is the 'Grom's top-end so anemic?) My current 'ride' is an '08 Honda "Metropolitan" w/a 50cc liquid-cooled engine that is'quiet as a grave'...the way a Honda should be! With the addition of a few 'high-performance' upgrades, the scooter will 'hold' at 42mph w/a 230lb. rider (45mph w/the windscreen installed) without ever touching the engine itself or the exhaust-system.(that is with NO 'GEARS' at all...just a 'CVT') I cannot understand why the 'Grom' suffers from such poor performance w/a '125' and a 4-speed! ( I had a friend in '68 that had 'Yamaha Twin-100' w/electric-start 2-stroke engine that could reach almost 70mph!) And another with a 'Suzuki 50' w/a 5-speed (2-stroke) and it too could 'get close' to 65mph! 50- years ago! My '90' was unable to match either because of the 3-speed gear-box...too bad. ("Honda" must surely have placed 'restrictors' on the 'Grom' to prevent high-speeds due to the wheel-size and wheel-base being 'unsafe' beyond 60mph)There must be ways to remove or 'cancel' these restrictions...because that 'top-end' is too slow for heavy high-speed traffic roads.(the 'old model' "CB-125" was FASTER than the new 'Grom'...and it had a 4-speed box as well and would 'hit' 70+ no problem!)
Gerry Nightingale my grom is a little noisy with the Zoom exhaust, but I like it that way! People can hear me coming! And I really don’t know why the grom tops out at such a “slow speed”.. it should be a little faster I feel like. I’m sure if there was a way just to “cancel” something, someone would have figured it out by now but who knows.. if so, hopefully they’ll share the secret to make it fast!
Yes...I've 'HEARD' that same thing many, many times...mainly fromthe '1%' crowd, who feel it is their inherent 'Right' to deafen anything within a mile-radius of their 'mo'suckle'.( for me, I prefer speed & power to a juvenile fixation on 'noise') As for the 'Grom'...when I write 'cancel' that means in terms of gear-box ratios being changed...not 'waving a magic wand'.The drive-train has obviously been 'geared' to allow more or less reduced-torque at an established engine-rpm ratio...'Honda' wants'repeat customers' in the American market, not 'dead-meat on the road' from a 75mph 'Grom' that possesses a short-wheelbase and tires that cannot withstand such high rotations without 'rim-separation' from excessive heat build-up. It's very possible that '# of teeth' on the road-wheel itself can be'changed-out' for a higher top-end...although that means 'less torque' on the low-end for 'dirt' excursions where a strong '1st.' gear is wanted (two different rear-wheels could solve that problem...1 for street & 1 for road) It is also possible that 'timing' has been deliberately restricted o 'fall-off' at 'WOT' in 4th.This CAN be changed with a new 'unrestricted' timing-'box' which is a solid-state electronic unit that controls 'what the engine rpm's are in relation to the sparkplug firing'. So...there are two options that 'somebody knows about', and I'm certain there are more( btw...contrary to what 'speed -shop' owners say...deliberately allowing 'greater flow' thru the exhaust that a factory already spent many years developing for a specific bike to achieve the 'maximum power output' is unwise...the 'engine exhaust flow-ratios' that are by-passed result in lost compression and LESS power...NOT more!)The only circumstance that merits an 'unrestricted flow' is at maximum rpms where the engine is at 'red-line' virtually constantly, like racing, where a very small advantage can make a difference.
Honda grom worth it? At 3999 dlls for a bike that runs 58 mph and in most parts of the USA is not allowed in the highways I would invest my money on something else , “oh but I am a beginner” I need a bike that’s easy to ride ! Chill out you only going to be a beginner for so much time If I was going to get my first bike 🏍 I would get a Kawasaki 300 abs a Kawasaki 400 a Ktm 390 Harley Davidson 500 headgehog Honda rebel 600 all of those maybe 1 k 2 k more expensive then a grom. Cops won’t be bothering you ... just learn to buy things out of logic and not out of exitment don’t get me wrong they are fun cool little bikes for a Sunday morning with your buddies easy to maintain but that’s about it ...
Wave however you want. I see people do peace sign, full palm, salute, devil horns etc etc. I even saw a dude take both hands off and do a double legit wave once. Made me laugh
wally walton they definitely aren’t for everybody. The main reason I hear people selling them is because of speed. The expected to get a “cheap” 125cc that was gonna run 100mph down the road. Which isn’t gonna happen with a grom 😂 you’ll be lucky to hit 80 even with thousands of dollars worth of modifications

Wave under, especially on a sport bike. And a Grom is sport 😊
Uh Harleys do under too!
Under, so at higher speed it doesn't blow your arm back.
Crazy mpg, and $97 a year full coverage Insurance. I also love my Grom. Nice video.
Just got the blue 2019 grom and i love it !!!
JRM Diecast did you really?? Congratulations!! The blue is my favorite 😍
It's very non-aggressive! And people don't seem to mind it. I just got a 2023 cherry red grom, it's super dope. I'm over here in western NC

Never wave to trike riders
William Chen never ever
Why not?
Because bikers wave to bikers and trikers wave to trikers or suck each other off at truck stop restrooms, but I’m not sure, only assuming.
Veight Rwd88. So trickers are a bunch of perverts that hang out at truckstops? That's horrible.
Honda need to update the engine to 175cc so it can reach the speed limit 😂
WICKEDLEE LOOPY if they made a grom the same as the actual grom, but where it’d hit 80mph. Gosh, that thing would sell like hot cakes
