There's a bit of inconsistency with my levels because of a save data issue and I had to rerecord some bosses
I remember almost all bosses of this game.*
*When I played it I was 14 years old, it was for Sega DreamCast. Now i'm 36 and I still remember the song of each boss.
Valmar parts, Minotaur, Melfice, Zera...
One of the best R.P.G'S I played. 😋
I only realized on this playthrough that Melfice actually has his own version of the boss theme
Right there with you, brother (same age). Grabbed this randomly on the Dreamcast and loved it. I randomly play through it on the PC.
They really made an oversight on Zera's butterfly form in Hard. That ACT is hilariously bonkers.
I still can’t believe I almost beat this game without using any magic in my first play through bc I didn’t kno how to use it.
Welp I too almost beat the game without realizing there's a section where u can upgrade passive stats like more hp/mp and so on lol ...I always wondered back then why boss deals insane amount of dmg in one go ..never knew my team was squishy coz I didn't upgrade their passives 😂 not only until reached the end game where I fought the reborn versions
The final fight is a snooze fest.
All you need to do is use spellbinding eye on him, and keep using elena to replenish millenias SP (feeding items that regenerate SP), while millenia cycles between heel crush and spellbinding eye.
Buff ryudos attack and act up to 5, and just go for combo attacks. Thats the fastest way to kill Zera. Youll deall like 3000 damage per combo attack and its quick and doesnt pause the game.
Great i Loved this Game so much :-)
Imo the eyes and the reborn eyes are the hardest bosses in the game at the time of their occurance.
The other bosses are rather simple because they dont have that many attacking pieces. A few debuffs here and there and they are all slowed to snails.
The eyes on the other hand have so many attacking units, if you dont manage to immediately sleep/move block them, it can immediately escalate within a single round. You get one bad resist on a snooze, and suddenly the eyes can go completely ham on a single character and immediately assassinate him.
Hard to say if the eyes or the core were harder for me.
I agree, the eyes gave me the most trouble
Valmar core wasn't that rough for me I just spammed all major sp attacks then swapped to magic attacks after sp wore out
Eyes of valmar is the hardest ...specially if u play this game the first time ..and not to mention its still early in the game so u still havent unlocked more pwerful skills and magic
Mira son que son fuerte el jefe
Finished the game multiple times and want to download a emulator to play this again
Some extremely questionable combat choices.... Durham Minotaur took about 3x longer than it should have.
Hey a wins a win... but yeah that was a bad minotaur fight
