It’s kind of genius. Basically he’s saying no matter what he tries, nothing will be able to replace Hannibal. Nothing short of a last resort for Eric, trying everything in his power to not let the flame of Hannibal die out. It’s sad.

i feel like the show has gone way down hill this season and its pretty obvious its due to hannibal leaving..
There’s also the fact that the guests seem to be expecting be fucked with, due to the show growing more popular. Eric’s humor works best when he’s a wildcard and people don’t know what to expect, like when he went to the RNC/DNC or any of his street skits, really.
What if Eric Andre quits and the rest of the show is just Kraft :(
