This is one of my favorite episodes. I've never seen Sean laugh so much with a guest.
You can tell that Eric Andre actually likes Sean Evans, because when Eric doesn’t like the person who’s interviewing him, he acts like he’s on his show. But if he likes them, he’s a cooperative and chill guy.

Best part about Eric Andre is he is a true entertainer. Even when suffocating with a million plus scovilles, he reacts in a way, while depicting his pain, is so lively. Really like this guy and the shock value is something he’s been milking efficiently. Like the back stories throughout the video

To be fair though, the plate, the cup and the water can all sound wrong, plasticky even, when breaking, I suspect they may be bade of sugar glass or something similar. (as in it's probably staged)
The Logan its definitely staged, if it was real glass his face would’ve been bleeding and the plate would’ve taken a lot more force to break.

Same for the jug... it could be really thin glass? The plate could be faked. But if it is, it's done really well, because it has an embossed logo stamped on the bottom.

I have to admit, I hadn't thought of it that way, but now that I am, I can't imagine it differently. He is metaphorically jumping on the grenade of this show for our entertainment, he is sacrificing himself in a way. And this is probably some of the most desperate a guest has ever been that finished the wings, it is brutal at times, which is why I can't help but feel that he's so noble and beautiful in this moment, and I no longer want to think of it any other way. Every time I'll imagine the people his death is saving running, eyes screwed shut, desperately trying to shut out his voice; meanwhile as he lays on the ground waiting for his opponent to finish him, he looks up at the sky one last time, murmuring "I'll see you in hell Coolio" wryly to himself before letting loose one final cry of "Tinashe, where you at-" as the blow falls. Then there is only deathly silence.

It was added later on the table and wasn't used for any liquid because sugar glass dissolves. The plate however was real, as you can see the host react with genuine shock, as that probably wasn't scripted.
