I really love how gradual the horror and unease was, and how you managed to do a deeply unsettling short without the use of jumpscared or overly dramatic sound cues. It's 10/10.

The ONLY thing missing are some creepy spider webs in that basement. Otherwise, I found it perfect in every way! Great story, great cinematography, great acting, great creepy guy...I was scared from lights out!!!

Perfectly creepy! The whole atmosphere screamed fear and had chills running down my bones. There wasn’t a single moment i wasn’t hooked. Amazing work to everyone involved 👏
It was really good. It's a bit amusing how she has to turn all the time, first on the sharpener and then to generate light. But that's probably why it called "Winder". I liked the atmosphere, it was really creepy. The actress was good, it's not always easy to portray fear with your face, but she did a fabolous job. A great detail was that the man looked at her too after she turned to him (in the cellar). Awesome moment! Attention to the reader......Spoiler: The pencil in the eye was also very cool and extremely appropriate as the final fade-in! In Sum: Yeah and Wow!
Yes, I noticed this as well. She probably has a wind up alarm clock as well, lol.

The cinematography at the beginning was absolutely perfect. Just a beautiful scene. Great work overall 👏

I gave up on big production movies and thoroughly enjoy these shorts. Rather than glamorized normal people we get real people with uneven fingernails, I’ll fitting clothes, and reasonable actions. The flashlight added to the suspense and frustration. I had one. I threw it in the ocean the 2nd day in the life raft.

What’s wrong with her wind-up flashlight? Is that how hers works? What about a better battery flashlight? This is good; but it’s spoiled by the flashlight issue.
I HATE those winding flashlights, they are the worst pieces of junk to have to use. Of course, in this case, the MC had a bit more to worry about than just the flashlight...
