While I thought the man was a bit stiff, I have actually seen people...in liquor stores no less....speak in that stilted way when dealing with someone who 'might be off' in some way. The acting & dialogue by the woman is deliberate, she is not human....so she would act oddly.
Good story, no creepy ghosts or entities needed to create suspense. Just a misterious lady. It's for the viewers imagination if she's a psycho murder or something else. Personaly i think she has something not human/e.t. lol. Btw the other client/man who enters the store his reaction is hilarious when his greeting is being ignored by her 👌🤣
