Synopsis:
When grocery delivery employees Max, Bryce and Rich go on the last run of the day, their motives are anything but sincere. As they begin the theft at the Ramsey residence, they quickly discover an evil entity has already taken control of the home and its occupant. In a last ditch effort to escape, the co-workers find themselves hunted, unknowingly drawing the monster through past and present actions. With time running out and the body count rising, they are faced with one final choice. Will it be the right one?

I liked that the long haired guy was so loyal to his friend. Punching out the other guy and taking the keys, and still going back for his buddy even when he could have just left. It was clear he was the most freaked out by the whole thing, but he stuck to his principles. True courage comes from doing the right thing even when you're terrified.
And that is why the last 2 lived.

Scott O'Hara was a great director. Really aware and conscious as a filmmaker. He hires great crew too. All his friends. His other work shows this as well. Thank you Pokerface for the kind comment 🙏

I really have no idea what was going on here, but full marks for the creepy atmosphere 🧟♂️
If you think evil things it gives the monster life
The spirit needed a body to possess but couldn't get in if you didn't think horrible things. He was also repelled by tomato sauce (or at least the old man believed it was)
I think it first possessed the old man's wife and he had to kill it (and so her) then it was slowly breaking him down so it could possess him then these moron kids stumble in. It finally possesses the old man, snags kid#1 to use as a body later then it leaves the old man's body again briefly then kids 2 and 3 fight it, and kill it (and so the old man it was possessing) So the kids gtfo as the creature goes to possess kid#1's body and come back for round 2.
This was the last scary-type video I watched after waking up in the middle of the night, this morning, and then I went back to sleep without any issue. I was expecting something more realistic, and the atomsphere wasn't done well enough to get me, even though, I was up all by myself in the dark. It wasn't a bad short, though.
@@TheUKisThere If youre looking for horrors to scare you and keep you up all night youre on the wrong channel. Here you can find more sophisticated ones that require you to think, those are psychological shorts above all else.

Yes, but the guy in the hat did give me a heart attack. Remember when he grabbed the keys on the ground and started running....and kept running...right PAST the damn truck. But he was a good person because he did go in the house with all those "boogey men" to save his friend.

I've always considered horror stories as IQ tests, which are miserably failed every single time ;) If they were smart and run, not open that door, not enter that haunted house, not open that ancient box, etc. we wouldn't have all these creepy stories, now would we? Let's look at it this way - they sacrifice their lives for our entertainment. I say it's a good deal.

The long haired guy looked like he spent pretty much his whole adult life freaked out. Best to stop thieving now before they run into something truly terrifying! It's already one in the morning where i live, and after watching stuff like this I won't be able to sleep at all! I love Screamfest !
Great point Elizabeth Gaspodnetich (sorry for the interminably late reply). Scott O'Hara really created an amazing environment for this world to exist and on set we really felt like we were in a horror film...but off camera it was super warm.
The creature sees your misdeeds and holds you accountable for them....do no wrong you won't be harmed
That was great! "Sometimes, it's the one thing we want the most that will save our lives if we can just let it go." It took them long, but they got up and out with a quickness.

Man this was scary! The sounds and sound fx were spot-on! Music cue excellent too. This film was well thought out, produced, edited , and kept it scary. The best horror movie is the one u don’t see, but the sounds and FX make u cringe with fear...kudos to u all!

That was kind of intense, too bad it wasn't a little bit longer.
Better on the second viewing for me. I enjoyed the complex emotions of the characters.

So maybe that's why my ex never gave up his career in pizza delivery. The only issue I really noticed was how darkly lit many scenes were, from 12:58 to the end. Thanks for another cool film Screamfest!

@@KimberlyLetsGo Hi! I've never actually watched Halloween. The lighting toward the end of this movie kinda reminded me of most of the movie The Wolfman (2010, Benicio DelToro). So, other than that, thumb's up once again Screamfest : )

Yes, by the laws of horror movies that guaranteed his survival, he obviously knew that. "If I get in the car and leave my friend my ass is dead..in some horrible way too. If I pretend to care about him and go back in that house of horrors I definitely survive this shitfest"

Of course, as too much horror is, this is based on Judeo-Christian-Islamic moralisms ... But very well done ... The horrors of the actual pluriverse have no such morality, they strike randomly, without a care for how "good" or "bad" you are ... That is what makes them genuine horrors. Still this is a well-made short horror flick.

I didn't quite understand the beginning and why or what it was and how you turned. I didn't see anybody steal the gold in the beginning like the guys tried too...but this short was absolutely entertaining the whole way through! Great acting with ALL of them! I loved it ! BRAVO!

I like how this short film provoked the idea that doing something bad has bad consequences or a sense of guilt. This was mostly shown from the character’s experiencing terrifying visions whereas everything was actually just normal 🤔

The dark hair guys look similar so i was confused with the movie .... at first i hate the long hair guy cos he went back to the house to safe the other guy instead of driving away but then I realised he went inside for his pal .... cos 2 guys look exactly like twins ...i rewatch then i understand the plot ...should have used different face of the actor cos they look so similar and i got confused since the delivery t shirt were same ...
