Never had confidence in a jig in the fall just seems like all the smallmouth are focused on baitfish like smelt and ciscos
They're always feeding on crayfish somewhere on every lake, and we like to dress out our jigs to look kiiiinda perchy too when those little buggers are out deeper on the bottom. 😉
